Very Disappointed
Gents this may be the weakest attempt at moto gear I have ever seen. This shirt is pretty much for the guy who is going to ride in a tshirt anyway, but has to ride on base or some other situation where he is required to wear long sleeve. I'll just get right to it. The material is junk for wearing on a bike. Despite the description it is not a poly/cotton blend. The shirt is 100% cotton. Soft cotton, like VERY loosely woven, Very easily snagged, Very easily damaged cotton. Right out of the box it has snagged broken threads here and there from production handling. The tag inside even states it's 100% cotton. I seriously have toilet paper in my bathroom that feels thicker and more durable. It even states that it must be hand washed. WTF. It does have Kevlar in the elbows and shoulders, but those Kevlar panels are SINGLE stitched to the shirt, and that Kevlar itself is a blend of 40% kevlar, and 60% COTTON. It also has armor in the back, shoulders, elbows, and when worn, you really can't tell it's there in feel or looks. But again I think in a crash, the second you touch asphalt, this shirt will shred so non of that Kevlar/armor will be in place anyway. The shirt itself has a very boxy fit. I'm 6'2" 180lbs and wear a large Tshirt (M/R in duty uniform). The sleeve length is good on/off bike, but the shirt is a but short off, and def short on the bike. You will be using the belt loops for sure. I know Revzilla has a great return policy but I decided to go ahead and bite the bullet on this one for you guys and keep it and put it through its paces for a review. Luckily as I suspected the embroided logos can be easily removed by taking out the stitching. Careful though, you have to go stitch by stitch as the shirt it's self is so frail, if you just got it going then attempted to just rip it off as we all do, the cotton shirt is going to rip before the nylon thread will. I have it in the washer now on cold water and will tumble dry on low just to see how it turns out, but I'm sure it will shrink like crazy. I do like the color, pattern, and idea of the shirt, but it is poorly executed. I would rather pay another 80 and see it double stitched with the whole shirt made from a tighter poly/cotton/Kevlar blend, with stronger impact panels. Maybe even brown leather in the outside like a smoking jacket. A little slimmer fit through the body, but really I could taylor it. I would not buy this shirt again, and suggest any and all pass on this one despite how inviting it may look. It will be interesting to see what they discuss if/when a video review is released..

I have tried it in action
I got the shirt to try minimize the hassle of a proper jacket in our summer in Qatar (GCC). The gamble was OK and I was really impressed with it although I thought that the spring loaded buttons were not that durable, but overall it OK. On the first glance it felt like wool fabric although it's 60% cotton 40% Kevlar, but on the road it sucks the air into it and you'd never feel hot.
At the third ride with it I had a crash and was hospitalized but here comes the whole deal, I was intact under this shirt at the crash I slide on my right shoulder and arm (which is double layered) I came up OK and intact the holded up the drag on asphalt for 10 metres leaving me OK.
Totally advice with it.

Great shirt/jacket, if you know what to expect.
Read through the reviews here/watch the Zilla vid to gather a bit of an educated guess on what this shirt/jacket really is.
It's a little too heavy to be called just a shirt, but it's certainly too light to be considered a "jacket".
By itself it's great for warm weather riding, and when it gets cold you can easily fit it underneath a warmer jacket or even just a hoodie. I love that flexibility.
No, it's not as protective/durable as a $600+ leather full-body protection suit, but c'mon, you SHOULD know that before buying it. For what it actually is (a casual, great looking shirt with a good amount of armour to protect you), it's great. It's exactly what it tells you it is.
Even still, I do find it to be quite sturdily made, and it feels very comfy.

My only complaint is that it really should have had an inner pocket. I hate putting my wallet/cell in the chest pockets. I'm a heavier set guy, so stuff in those pockets make it look like my moobz are way bigger than they actually are (big). I also just don't like the feeling of something weighing me down there. Mind you I have this issue with EVERY shirt with chest pockets, not just this one. It's not the fault of the shirt. I blame it on Nintendo and Kit-Kat bars.
If I just bring the bare essentials like my license, and my credit card, then yeah it's no issue, but I really do think an inner pocket was an over-sight.

I currently ride an 87 Super Magna, and the shirt looks great with it.

Decent bit of protection without looking like you're a biker
I'm 5'7" 160lb, medium build, 39"-40" chest. Normally I'm a medium but I fit a size small for this shirt. It's basically a thicker flannel with shoulder, back, and elbow pads, and I believe the Kevlar is only at those locations. Not much protection but if you're just going around town then should be ok. I didn't see any Kevlar anywhere else. Fits good, looks pretty cool except for the bro logos on the back and arm.

Versatile jacket with more protection than just a shirt
I was looking for something that offered protection and versatility yet still looked good. I've gotten many compliments on the shirt and the fact that it has armor in it is even better. I wanted something that I could use year round by augmenting with rain or cold weather gear I already had as I'm on a limited budget due to being in grad school. Because I live in the Pacific Northwest I'm used to layering garments to adjust to changing weather, in the summer I wear this over a tee-shirt and while it gets very warm sitting in traffic at 90 degrees F it does what a long sleeve shirt should do and absorb some sweat which then acts to cool me when I get up to speed. Only once during a stretch of 100+ degree days did it get to be too much. Now that it is getting colder I layer it over a sweat shirt or under rain gear to be warm enough when commuting to work or school. Thankfully I've not had to the chance to test it in a crash but I feel comfortable riding on the freeway in it including doing a short camping trip with a friend. It came with some very gawdy patches on the shoulders and right forearm but with a little time they were easy enough to remove. After almost daily use for the last three months it is starting to show signs of ware. Some of the stitching is coming lose and the tag on the bottom is starting to fray. Other than this I really enjoy the jacket and when this one wears out I'll buy another as the style and versatility are just what I'm looking for and having CE rated armor what got me to buy it.

Nice style with some added protection
This is a really cool product which has pros and cons. I've owned quite a few jackets ranging mesh, textile, and full leather. This really fills the gap between full protection and no protection.

I'm a big proponent of always wearing gear, even when just cruising around town at relatively low speeds. My work commute is only about ten minutes and never goes above 35mph, and any of my jackets just feel way overkill and hot during the summer. So this shirt really fills that gap.

I would never wear this on the highway or really anything over 40 if you want road-rash protection. This is a cotton shirt and will likely melt away even at low speeds so that is a risk. However the impact protection is great for city riding and I think will be beneficial at low speeds.

It fits quite large in my opinion, as does most Speed and Strength gear. I'm 5'11" 185lbs and athletic/muscled build. I ordered a medium and it's big on me, although I was able to shrink it up a bit with hot water so it's close enough now. The logos are pretty stupid but they don't bother me too much. Zipper and snaps are nice features but the addition of an inside pocket would be awesome.

Overall this is a great product for a specific purpose and I would not recommend using this in place of a real jacket for most applications.

exactly what I was looking for!
First let me start off by saying I was looking for a cheaper jacket that looked good with my yellow suzuki savage cruiser. so this jacket caught my eye right away with the styling. the plaid matches pretty much anything(i went with black/white/grey) and it has that casual comfortable look I was going for. I got it for $107 on sale and couldn't be happier with the price. I don't think you can find another jacket with CE armor and kevlar that looks this nice for that price. The back and shoulder armor is very comfortable and the elbow armor you notice a little more because of the jacket material but it's not bad in my opinion. The overall quality seems great to me, the buttons, zipper, and stitching all look good. My only complaint is the lack of an inside pocket. I can just barely fit my cell phone(nokia lumia640) in the front pockets though and I think I'll get a nice backpack for added storage if needed. So if you want something that's simple, looks great, is comfortable, is on the lower price scale, and has really good protection, then this jacket might be for you. Also, I'm 5'7" 150lb and the Small fit me really good, with or without a hoodie underneath.

Good protection for a non textile shirt
I am a 38 to 39 chest
I got the small and it fit perfect

I also have the cruise missile textile jacket in M, and its a tad big, so I will stick with small in speed and strength clothing

The cuffs fit spot on, but too tight for gauntlets

the shoulders and elbows seem to stay in place

I've worn it about 5 times so far, and I love it.

If the price were < $100, we'd have a winner, but a $120, just a tad overpriced

High Quality Protection
First off, I want to say this is a very good product in terms of casual looking and lighter-weight motorcycle protection; we need more of it! Black leather gear can get so redundant and boring, so this stylish look is very refreshing.

Two warnings for people buying this product: 1) It fits large; I am a medium in almost everything and the medium shirt does not fit tight enough. I need to wear a hoodie underneath to have the shoulder and elbow armour to not shift around. 2) As a Canadian, ordering this product from the US, exchange, taxes and duty in, my total came to over $220. Considering we pay $500 or more for good leather motocycle jackets, this is a cheaper and lightweight alternative, but still quite pricey. Get a distributor in Canada please!

Thank you Revzilla for this great product.

Does anybody make a shirt like this WITHOUT all the pirate-script logos down the entire arm and across the back? For me the point of this gear is to look a neutral and non-biker as possible. I would purchase in a heartbeat if they offered without logos.
Matthew G on Feb 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The logos aren't really that noticeable, love the jacket tho
I'm 6'5 usually wear an xl T-shirt how well does this for for the taller riders here?

BEST ANSWER: I'm 5'10" and got the medium. It fits great but the elbow pads are too high in riding position the protect my triceps. I usually wear between a large and a medium depending on brand.
What is the difference besides color to Last Man Standing Moto shirt?
Edward Q on Aug 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I believe the difference is the Last man standing is a little heavier material. The flannel of the rust and redemption shirt is very thin and breathes incredibly well. Good for hotter weather.
Has anyone upgraded the armour in the shirt? Or knows if the armour pockets are very tight?
Mark W on Jul 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I did not upgrade the armor in this shirt because it was pretty solid to begin with. As for tightness of the pockets, it should fit just about any standard size armor in my opinion and is loose enough to easily switch armor out but also keep it in the correct place where it should be.
Can anybody who owns one recommend the size for me? I'm 6'1", 185-190 lbs, 33" waist, 44" chest, athletic build. Please take into that i'll be riding with arms stretched in front, shoulder height. Thx!
A shopper on Apr 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would recommend a size larger than you usually wear. These run pretty true to size but offer no real insulation. If you want to wear another shirt or hoodie underneath it may her tight. Sleeve length shouldn't be an issue. I also run apes.
