Great product for price
I wanted riding jeans that were fitted and not baggy. These are great and have a little stretch to the denim. I normally wear a size 32 and that's what size i got (5'11" ~185 lbs). They seem a bit smaller than normal but the stretch keeps them comfortable. It'd be nice if they had inserts for hip protection but the removable knee pads are nice. Take them out and they don't even look like riding jeans as they do not have external stitching. Awesome jeans for the price.

Slim/Skinny Fit Riding Jeans
Fit: These jeans are definitely on the slim side. For me, this is a good thing. I tried a few other jeans and their "regular fit" were baggy. The street and steel oakland jeans offer plenty of stretch and run slightly long so that once you throw your leg over the bike, they do not pull or constrict your movement. If you are looking for a looser fit, I would not buy these. If you typically wear a slim or skinny cut jean, these are perfect. In almost all pants I wear a 32x32 (6' 185lbs). I bought these in 32 and they fit great. I think people tend to believe the waist runs large because they do not account for the stretch, When you put them on, they will fit just fine. Obviously, since they stretch, you can grab them and pull them a few inches off of your waist.

Protection: The denim really seems to be heavy weight and much better suited for abrasion resistance than a regular pair of jeans. The aramid lining is exactly as shown in the picture, which is the main reason I purchased these. The lining is all one piece and not just patches of aramid. My only complaint here is that it could extend a little further down the back. The CE rated knee pads velcro inside of a pocket inside of the jeans, so they do not move around. Since the jeans are a tighter fit, the knee pads stay in place at the knee where they should. I gave them a 4/5 because obviously they do not provide the same protection as leather riding pants, but i would put these against any other riding jean I have tried on. One thing I would say about the description is that I don't really see these as a bootcut. They do not flair out at the bottom. They fit easier over all of my boots and shoes, but I think this is more due to the stretch than a bootcut.

Comfort and Style: These jeans are comfortable! The mesh lining at the top feels like a pair of basketball shorts. Since the jeans have so much stretch, they feel like a broken in pair of sweat pants. Even with the knee pads in, most other people cannot even tell I am wearing riding pants. I take the knee pads out and wear them to work (office) on Fridays. They have a slight fade to them, but nothing drastic that stands out. I even find myself wearing them regularly when I am not riding.

Air flow: They do tend to feel warm, but I think that comes with the territory. Basically they feel like a pair of jeans that are lined. When I wear them around casually, they feel a bit warm, but when I'm on my bike i don't notice it.

Bang for the buck: Definitely worth the money. I have regular jeans that cost twice as much as these that do not compare. The cut is great, the quality is top notch, and they fit their purpose really well. I bought the blue and now I'm going to buy the black so that I have two different pairs.

Slim Jeans with an affordable price tag
The cut is exactly what I was looking for. Every pair of jeans i saw was bulky in someway or another. I wear American Eagle slim straight jeans and these are right up that alley as far as cut. The fit is "true" if you're used to that style. Knee pads blend in well enough. Pockets are slightly larger than average.

As far as airflow it feels like a regular pair of jeans. Comfortable enough today in 92º weather with high humidity.

Best jeans I could find
I ordered, tried on and return about 5 different riding pants with most being jeans. All of them either fit like crap or looked stupid. I decided to actually go into a store and try some pants on before buying another pair. I went into Cycle Gear and tried the Bilt jeans and these ones. These ones fit the best by far!! A little snug on the legs, but the material is very stretchy so you don't feel cramped at all. I am 5'10, 195 and wear a 34/30 in reg jeans. I got the size 34 which fit me perfect on the waist but was too long..it was probably a 34 length. I got them hemmed and now they are perfect. The knee armor that comes with it is CE certified and stays in place with Velcro unlike other jeans I've tried so that's really nice. My biggest complaint is that they don't come with a pocket for hip protectors (why not?!). Strangely these pants breath better than any of my regular jeans which was a nice surprise. Cant beat it for 100 bucks especially if you compare it to the crazy expensive competitors.

Good looking jeans, comfortable & appear sturdy
Ordered these as my first pair of 'real' riding jeans and they did not disappoint. Fit seems slightly large (I normally wear Levis 32x30) and these have just a little bit more room in the waist. I had to shorten them 1.5" to fit in length, but that was easy. They seem to offer good protection with full kevlar to below the knee and the kneepads are adjustable and removable. Overall very comfortable, although a bit hot for the warm summer months (90+). I would recommend them!

Skinny jeans
These are like skinny jeans for men. The stretch fabric in good in theory but in practice it makes it look like yoga pants. The material does feel resistant to abrasions and the armor in the knees was spot on but it was way way too snug around the upper leg.

Someone tried to shrink a pair of huge women's stretchy jeans and failed.
I wear a 34X34 in pretty much everything. If a 33 is available, I buy those.
I bought the 34 in these and the waist was closer to a 38. Absolutely huge around the waist.
These jeans have no structure and no form. They fit like someone tried to shrink down a huge pair of women's stretch denims and failed miserably. I don't understand who would fit in these. Save a few more bucks and wait until you can pick up some actual riding jeans.
