Greatness in boots
I've had these for about three months now, and today they got their first time in real dirt. Thought the mud was a lot shallower than it was and needed to avoid some brush (that I later had to move anyway), but then started to slide and ended up in mud that was about 2 inches deeper than my bash plate (KLR650). From when I planted my feet to keep from going all the way in, to the 10 minutes it took me to slowly urge it out of Missouri's wonderful suctioning clay mud, the boots kept my feet nice and dry. Later on the same ride, had to plant my foot hard to keep from going down, and instantly in my mind I thought this is my next sprained/broken ankle. Didn't even feel the impact on my ankle. Overall riding comfort: in the summer, these are less than ideal for street riding since they got hot pretty quick, especially if you are more warm-blooded than most like me. However in anything but asphalt at any time of year they are worth their weight in gold. Definitely recommend. Style? I ride a KLR, style is something for other people.

Perfect Boot!
I absolutely love these boots! Let me start by saying I have not ridden in warm temperatures or dry conditions with this boot yet since it is currently January in Wyoming.
With that said, this boot seems like it SHOULD do it all; I wore normal socks with them to test how warm the boot is by itself, and it kept my foot a touch on the cool side (but not uncomfortably numb) on a 45 deg day. With thick ski socks I can stay warm in much lower temps. All that said, I don't feel like I am going to cook my feet in the 100 deg summer. The Forma liner does seem to actually "regulate" temperature like advertised. But we'll see in a few months for sure...
I have not experienced even a trickle of moisture in the boot, despite subjecting it to miles of water splashing off the front tire and the occasional dirt road mud puddle wash...
As for comfort and protection, I love these boots, they seem to have found the perfect balance between the two. I can literately walk around comfortably in these boots and not feel like a storm trooper, and they are tall enough, supportive enough, and have the armor in-bedded to give me the confidence to handle my 600lb Super Tenere while I'm only 5'6" tall, proper footwear and protection become paramount in situations like mine...
The boot is fantastic, but if you plan on doing more touring on the road than off road I'd suggest the Forma Adventure Low. Going with the full size boot requires tall motocross socks, and though they fit under most boot cut jeans with minor effort, the low version would be an easier and simpler option if the shin protection and extra support are not as much of a concern. I'd be willing to say that this boot is a 60/40 off road/on road boot, the low would be a perfect 30/70...
In summary, if you need a boot that you can live in for months at a time, with the level of protection just short of a motocross boot, that you can walk comfortably in, stay dry in any condition and look professional and mature; these are the boots for you. Just keep in mind that they make a "low" version that will be more usable if off-road isn't as prevalent in your adventures.

Best Boot I have ever owned
Made by Italians. That should say it all. Forma are some of the best boots ever made. I have never owned a pair of boots that fit better out of the box, and broke in better. Construction is top notch, buckles are easy to use and very sturdy. Great fit, warm, comfortable and waterproof. VERY waterproof. Was recently doing a river crossing and got bogged down half way across and had to put my feet down in almost twelve inches of water. Not a drop got inside. The aggressive sole is also a nice feature for off-road riding. Never once have I put my foot down and lost it in the dirt or mud. They also fit very true to size. Not too narrow, not too wide. I usually wear a size 10 street shoe, but I purchased the 45 which is a size 11 US. Gives a little more room up front without swimming around in them. Perfect. I did replace the footbed with a Superfoot support insole. Works perfect. I purchased the black. I am now thinking I need a pair of the brown ones as well. They look awesome.

I probably tried on 20 pairs of boots from Sidi, AlpineStar, TCX, and Gaerne and nothing fit as well. I am a Forma boot lifer. Buy these boots - you will not be disappointed.

Great bang for the buck!
I bought these boots in preparation for a 2 week, 4k mile ADV ride. As a woman, I have a difficult time finding ADV boots that fit my feet and my legs. In the past I have owned the Alpinestar Scouts.

The Forma boots really hit the mark for me. They were comfortable during the entire trip and took almost no time to break in. My feet remained dry riding in the rain and mud, and while walking through streams checking out water crossings. The boots were very comfortable for walking around in general.

The buckles and adjustable straps on these boots are a joy to use compared to my previous boots. The buckles are easy to get on and off and they do not come undone. The straps are easy to adjust and the boot can adjust out to accommodate a larger calf.

The only issue I had with these boots was sizing. These boots fit a bit small for their size. I measured my foot and ordered a 39 instead of a 37 or 38 (my normal European foot size) in anticipation of wanting to wear heavier socks. It is a good thing I ordered a size up because they do run a little bit small.

Very happy with these boots
I am noob rider on a V-Strom learning to ride and learning to fall :) I wear a size 10.5 and bought a size 45.

What I wanted in boots:
1. Great impact protection.
2. Great environmental protection (heat, cold, wet).
3. Great grip for sitting, standing and operating controls (shifting, breaking).

These boots have performed everything very well. So far I must have fallen off the bike (at low speeds or standstill) at least 7 or 8 times, badly enough to break mirrors, turn signal indicator and most recently bend a handle bar on gravel and leaves. Every time I've been thrown off the bike and rolled on the ground. I've not even been sore afterwards and the boots show no signs of damage.

I've ridden in very cold (20F) to warm (70F) and rainy weather. They are perfect - I can wear them with thin work (desk job) socks or very thick woolly socks. I've ridden them with jeans over boots and ski pants tucked inside them. They do have some airflow so in freezing weather some toe warmers will help. These boots are always comfortable on and off the bike. I often come home from rides and keep the boots on while I work in the chicken run, yard or garage without any discomfort. I wouldn't hike in them though - they are too stiff for that.

The only complaint, if any is that the soles don't seem to be as grippy as I'd like after you've been around some mud and oil. That's a very hard requirement so I won't count it against the shoe. A couple of times I've set my foot down in rain, slipped and been unable to hold the bike up. If you've stepped in something iffy, you need to clean the soles well or you'll continue to slip.

All in all excellent boots I'd happily buy again.

Great boot for a great price.
I feel very protected, comfortable if you get the right size. Warm and cozy, probably a bit large in the calf area. Excellent quality. Sole is thick and takes adjustment/getting used to but then becomes very easy to operate the motorcycle. I read all the reviews and they helped a lot.

Excellent boots!
After lurking a lot in forums, I finally decided on these boots based in the good reviews. I'm not disappointed with my choice. Fit is a bit small if you follow the EUR size, better to follow the US number conversion as on Forma's size chart. Overall could not be happier with my purchase!

Great adv boot
I've owned these for about 6 months now, and am very impressed. They are comfy all day on the bike, then not to bad wearing around camp.

The opening is wide enough to accomodate pants and knee armor if you so choose.

The guys over at atomic moto tested it for 60 minutes in a tub of water, and the paper inside never got even damp.

A great boot for anything you can throw at it, at any price range. My only gripes are the branding, the big forma logo is a bit obnoxious but not nearly as bad as 99% of Alpine Stars or Icon. And in a perfect world, it wouldn't have plastic straps. But, you have to make some compromises when buying Italian leather boots.

Awesome boots!
Really like these boots. They fit well, are comfortable and work well too. The other day I got stuck in the mud and had to dismount the bike. Submerged these boots in water/mud well over my ankle. Then sprayed them off with the hose while still wearing them. My feet were dry as a bone after I took them off. They seem to have plenty of protection in all the right places but are flexible enough to use them as street boots and even to walk around in a little. They are awesome!

Nice Looking Protective Boot
I am a true size US 12.5 normal width, but I usually have to buy size US 13 boots because 12.5 are rarely made. After having to send back a pair of size 13 Icon Raiden DKR boots because they were so ridiculously narrow that I almost couldn't get my foot into them even without a sock on, I was almost ready to give up buying boots via the internet. However, after talking with Revzilla Customer Service I decided to give it another try. I'm very glad I did! These Forma Adventure Boots are really nicely made and a size 48 was a perfect fit for me. I would say that a size 48 is a US 12.5 (not a 13), and that the width is a normal US "D" width, or just a hair wider. They don't have as many protective features as a race type boot, but they do have some built-in protection and the leather is thick and beautiful. The buckles and velcro top flap snug them up enough that my jeans and leather over pants can go down over the boots without constricting or bunching. Good traction soles and overall good support for standing on the pegs, and you don't look like you just exited a space craft.

After considerable research and reading other rider's reviews on these boots, I decided to purchase them as I wanted an adventure boot for my adventure bike that would protect me as such, but also be comfortable enough to walk around in when off the bike. After breaking them in over a couple days of wear, they are the most comfortable boot I've yet to have worn for riding on my bike, and since I commute to and from work on my bike I wear these all day at work without the need to change out.

When is Anthony going to do a video review on the Forma Adventure boot?
A shopper on Aug 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Have ni idea, I am sure they didn't mean to send this question onto me, however I can say the boots are great.
Are the straps on this boot adjustable? Would they fit someone with wide calves?

Thanks,
Laura
Laura V on Jun 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they are ratcheting and adjustable just like most. They're plastic. The boots are made to be able to wear shin/knee armor under your pants and tuck everything into the boot so yes, wide calves aren't a problem.
Are these boots size appropriate? I wear a size 11.5 to 12 boot, but the Tour Master Solution WP Air boots I bought previously were too big at size 46?
Paul D on Apr 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I also wear a11.5 and these fit me just fine in a 47 but I have very wide feet
I wear an 8.5. Should I go with 42 or 43?
A shopper on Jul 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I wear 8.5 and bought 42. It fits perfectly.

Hope this help.
i was wondering if these boots are easy to shift with? are they bulky in the toe area? they are my first pair of official riding boot..thanks
A shopper on Jun 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I needed to move the shifter a little higher after switching from road style boots. they are not like motocross boots and flex very well right from the beginning but even get better after a very short time.
I am very pleased with them .
Are these boots heavy? What do they weigh?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: For the weight, you would need to go online and look this up.
As to feel, they fit great and feel light. On a trip with MotoVermont, we went down a gully into a pool at the bottom of some waterfalls. I walked the route before riding and they we as comfortable as hiking boots.
Wish you sold these in a woman's size so I can get a pair for my girlfriend...or do You?

BEST ANSWER: Bought the size 38s for my wife's tiny feet. She loves them. Find a chart online, estimate the right size, and if it's wrong, free shipping for a replacement in the next size up or down!
How tall is the boot?

BEST ANSWER: About 15 inches tall
Why are these not recommended for bikes with kickstart?
A shopper on Feb 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have no idea why these would not be good for a bike with kick start. The only thing I can think of is that they're tall and somewhat inflexible, so if you need a lot of bend in the ankle to start the bike, boots like these may not allow it.
Hope this helps.
