Expensive, but worth every cent.
I thought about this boot for about two months before purchasing. Now that I've got them, can't figure out what took so long to decide. They are a little tight and narrow but I still have less than ten rides in them. Mainly, I can't flex my toes with them on. Not a big deal at all. when they are on, your foot or toes is not moving. Which is what it's supposed to do.

All that disappears when you are actually riding. Walking around all day off your bike, you might need to loosen them up with the TechnoBuckle two or three clicks. It is a riding shoe, so when your on the bike, no problem at all. You forget about them while riding and only remember them when the bottom of the boots gives your feet feedback about the type of road your on. Anytime you change road conditions you'll know right away.

In closing, I gotta talk about the "WOW" factor. These boots don't look like ANYTHING else on the market. The first five rides I had them on I must have had about 2-3 people per ride ask me about them. The barbershop was the worse. I walked in to the packed barbershop like always, they had a full on conversation about whatever they was talking about. All these people were strangers to me except the two barbers. Anyway, one minute after sitting down I look up to see everybody staring at me ,mainly the Street Burners. Don't know what they was talking about before, but the whole conversation shifted to the Street Burners. Followed by me being asked several different times to raise my bootleg up, for individual close up review. The morale of this story is that I was not expecting that type of reaction from any type of shoe or boot. Which to me, says something about this boot. If you don't believe me, buy them and try it out. Just my opinion, thanks for reading this long review.

Easy protection
Ended up with getting the most protection without having to deal with a high boot. I really feel safe in these, there is no shin and calf protection though.

They could use some upgraded insoles but are comfortable enough to walk a distance in and you have full range of motion at the ankle. The vent works well and I have not overheated in them with the CA summer heat.

Here is a how to on getting in and out fast. Anthony does it in the video. Use one hand to unclip the red tab, the other hand on the black knob to release, pull it all the way out then reclip it. Now you can easily slide out. Flip the ratchet open and turn it tight once your back in.

These have been awesome, I love the 'race' sole it's grip on the road and bike is perfect.

Outstanding fit.
Purchased these boots for fast street riding in the summer. Ventilation is good and protection is excellent. The fastening is a little fiddly at first but quickly becomes second nature. I was especially impressed with the speed Revzilla filled my order. I placed the order on Sunday night before Labor Day and the package was on my doorstep on Wed. I highly recommend these boots.

Everyday Boots
I am really glad I purchased these boots. They took a little while to break in, but they fit amazing now. I normally wear a 10.5 in most shoes, but I found the pair that fit the best was the 9.5. I wear them every time I ride. I usually bring an extra pair of shoes with me in my bag. They aren't really good looking office shoes. I would highly recommend them.

Boots are awesome!
The leather is super firm and has hard plastic running up from the side of the boot which protects twisting laterally well. You are definitely giving up protection by not getting a full boot, but they are comfortable to wear around with street clothes. High quality overall, these will definitely be staying with me for a long time.

Everything you could need in a boot.
I've worn my Sidi Streetburner boots for a month now:

1) Although a bit pricey, probably the best shoe for the $. They honestly feel like a car could run over them and I'd not notice.
2) Not super comfortable, but I knew that going in. They are fine for walking if you don't wear ankle socks, which doesn't protect you from the back of this shoe.
3) Airflow is good. I've had some hot days and haven't noticed that my feet were hot.
4) I'm wearing them right now. Looking at them, they look fantastic. They offer a bit of wiggle room. I like the fastener that runs across the top of the boot.
5) People at work think these shoes are pretty cool.
6) I like the replaceable parts via screws. For sliders, heel, and airflow switch.

My only really negative so far is the velcro strap that you connect at the top of your ankle, tends to slide down and grab the mesh tongue. It frays the mesh a bit which is no big deal. Honestly I'm being crazy picky at this point, but things like that bother me.

Worth it.

No more riding in sneakers
Bought a pair of boots but would never wear them because I could not bend my ankle to shift. When I low sided the shift pedal ripped a chunk out of my foot through the sneakers I had on. Bought these and they are every bit as comfortable as riding with sneakers, but don't have to worry about going through the pain of stitches if that happens again. Obviously they lack protection on your Achilles tendon and from twisting your foot 360 around, but again super comfortable to ride in all day and easy to take on and off. The vents seem to work well once you are going about 30+mph and keep my feet from getting sweaty.

My feet are very narrow and just ordered my normal shoe size, could be tighter on the sides but they still fit well.

I will say that my only complaint is they could use better traction, if you happen to stop on a hill where the ground is wet you just better hope you don't have to put too much weight on one foot.

AMAZING BOOTS
I LOVE these things! I thought about this purchase for a long time. I ride a DRZ400SM and everyone was telling me to go with a full boot. I don't like a full boot to much restriction for me. But these are perfect. No break in period. If your a SM guy or gal and are on the fence about these don't hesitate get them you wont be disappointed they are exactly what I was looking for in a boot.

Love these Boots
I have had these boots for 2 seasons (2 yrs.) now. I originally bought the Streetburners because of the replaceable parts, the side vents, and they look very technical. I normally wear a size 10 but have a slightly wider than average foot. The 45's fit me great.

These boots are perfect for when I am in the mood for AGGRESSIVE Riding but want a little more comfort then my "Full On Race Boots". These actually feel like a "Short Race Boot" instead of a "3/4 top hiking boot" or a "3/4 top basketball shoe". You can see and feel the quality. These boots are SOLID.
