Looking for replacement knee armor
The pants fit pretty well, but the knee armor floats sort of loose in a mesh pocket - it moves around a lot for me. I'd like to find some armor with a little more coverage and less movement. The accordion stretch panel on the inside of the knee bunches up quite a bit too - not sure why that panel is there - doesn't seem to effect the knee armor placement in a positive way.

Style and Protection
First of all I have an athletic build (not chicken legs)

There are a few things to know before buying these:

The material has zero stretch unlike most levis jeans which contain elastane. The material is also thicker and heavier than levis (Kind of a canvas texture) but they look like normal jeans. These are not as comfortable to lounge around in as levis for the reasons mentioned above. Also the material around the knees bunch up for me when squatting or sitting cross legged. In the riding position they don't bunch on me and are comfortable.

For dirt-biking I often prefer to ride without hip armour because it limits my movement in thighs + crotch for really technical trails. For street or less technical dirt-biking I go full armour. I find the armour stays in place just fine. The pants are slim enough to keep the armour close to the body on me.

The style is on point. These look seriously good and fit slim. The elastication around the knees I think is mostly for looks because it doesn't seem to offer up any extra mobility.

If these pants had some stretch and/or water resistance technology I would give them 5 stars.

Overall nice slim fit moto pants
I've only ridden twice in this jeans but have a good overall initial impression. First the good things - the pants look great; I wanted slimmer fit moto pants, and for sure these fit that bill. The armor looks and feels like D3O, but it has a different brand on it, so it is somewhat soft and comfortable but seems bulkier (maybe?) and oddly shaped. The waist does fit true to size based on my regular jeans. The denim is soft and breathable like a normal jean denim. Now, the not so great things - my favorite fitting normal jeans are the Lucky Slim Heritage line - these Saint jeans are much slimmer in the leg. So much so that I had a hard time swinging my leg over my bike with the knee armor in (even with those stretch panels on the back of the knee.). Next, the Saint denim has zero stretch to it - unlike normal denim, so even though the pants fit good standing up, when on my bike they cut into my gut a bit; this is likely my problem - not Saint's! The pant length is crazy long for a waist size 34, so I may have to get these hemmed.

Overall, though I'll keep the pants for sure - I don't want to size up as I don't want them to be too loose fitting like my Icon pants. They have a great look, are very quality-made and look like they will be durable. I may switch out the knee pads for some D30 knee armor like my Icon jeans have.

Sizing seems off (larger rider)
I really wanted to like these jeans but am sending them back unfortunately. The main issue I found was with the cut of the jean which was not straight leg IMO. From the knee down the jeans were baggy and the cuff a bit wide. Potentially some of the baggy fit issues below the shin only affect the larger sizes. I'm sending back for a "36 and will update my review, I really want these jeans to work without having to do major alterations.

Pros:
Great price point
Lightweight (no second layer, protection baked in)
Great potential to be a stylish pant

Cons:
Knee pads are awkward when off bike
Material does not stretch and bunches around waist when on bike
Far too wide from the knee down

Fit great but hot on summer days
I am a big fan of saint. These fit true to size and have good bang for the buck coming with CE rated knee and hip armor. On hot summer days its a little hard to ware them if you are in a stop and go type of traffic, little to no air flow. Other then that no complaints.
