Great wind protection
Purchased for cold weather riding and they were exactly as advertised. I normally wear large glove. Needed XL for best fit in this model. Video review was very helpful. I've worn them for up to about 2 hrs down to 39 degrees without my fingertips getting too cold.

Very good control
These gloves are good for about 45-50 degrees unless you have headed grips. Thank BMW for headed grips! They don't breath so you will get that trash bag feeling. But they are very good for the controls on the bike. I will give them 5 stars on that.

Very warm, but only if you have the right size.
These gloves are definitely warm, and the definitely run small. I wear a 2XL in Roland Sands gloves and mistakenly tried out the 2XL in these. While they seemed to fit upon first try, I found that when I was out riding in 30 degree weather, my fingertips were freezing because there simply wasn't enough air left to insulate in the tips of the gloves.

After upgrading to the 3XL, I rode out again, this time in 20 degree weather, and found that my hands were perfectly comfortable through and through.

I cannot recommend these enough, but be sure you get a size larger than you think you need.

Very confortable and rugged gloves
These are a very confortable gloves, the curved palm shape makes them fell good from the first use. The leather, lining and finishings looks and feels top quality. You can wear them even in not so cold weather. I had to return them and replace them for a smaller size. Revzilla has the best service, period.

Probably my favorite gloves
These are probably my favorite gloves. They fit very well after the break-in and the Revzilla fit guide was spot-on comparing the fit to Alpinestars gloves. They are extremely comfortable. There is a decent amount of insulation but not so much that you lose your feel for the controls. Honestly, they are a great compromise between cold protection and ergonomics. They feel almost as if I'm not wearing them. I feel very connected to my machine.

There isn't enough airflow to make them suitable for warmer weather, which bums me out because they're terrific gloves. In the 50s my hands sweat in these gloves after a while. But when the mercury dips below 40F I'm glad I have them. On the other hand, when the temperature goes below 30F my fingertips go numb on any ride lasting longer than 20 minutes. I've ridden with these down to 27F and that's the absolute limit before I start really cursing my decision not to wear my heated gloves.

The features are great. There is decent finger and knuckle protection without it being gaudy and looking like something out of a sci-fi movie. I haven't used the visor wiper yet but I'll be glad I have it when I eventually need it. The gauntlet style fits over my jacket arms very well and easily cinches tight with a tug of the bungee closure.

The durability seems average. I've not tested these in a crash. I am noticing some stitching coming loose around one of the knuckle protectors. It's something I will fix rather than replacing the gloves if that's any indication of how much I like them.

The name fits the product.
I ride my bike till the ice and snow hit the ground. I have worn these gloves in temps under 30s. For almost and hour without heated grips. My hands were cold but not unbearable. Passing my test. I like the Velcro wrist closing, and wiper blade.

They do the job.
I was looking for a pair of gloves to get me through the winter. These Joe Rockets should do that. The reviews warned be to size up and I did. I'm normally a L but bought these in XXL. They fit very well and seem well made and highly protective. I've tested them already in cold rain. I was not disappointed. I would like the gauntlet to be a little longer and a little more curvature in the fingers. I'm afraid they will be tiresome on a long ride trying to maintain control of the throttle. But let me say that for the price I got what I expected.

Very nice, well made simple gloves. JR quality
I bought these to go with my Classic 92 jacket. They run a size small as Anthony states in the video. They are very warm and appear to be well made. Miles over the winter will tell, but are very comfortable right out of the box. Not SERIOUS riding gloves but for everyday use are perfect and typical Joe Rocket Quality.

I live in Loma Linda, California which gets as low as the mid 30's during the winter. These gloves have good adequate insulation and keep my hands comfortable during my 20 minute commute to work on a 35 degree morning. The glove is long enough to cover over the wrist of my jacket to keep the wind chill out. Plus the has excellent protection qualities.

All leather, low key, clean look. Wanted a gauntlet that would fit over my leather jacket sleeves and cinch closed. Also like the knuckle and palm padding without all the plastic and look of a track glove.

How does the sizing compare to a Roland Sands unlined glove? I have the Roland Sands Barfly in 2XL and it fits great. Comparing the sizing charts, it looks like I would wear a 2XL in this glove as well. Can anyone confirm the size comparison?
Kenneth C on Nov 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have average size hands for a man and the XXL is perfect, No extra room in the fingers which allows precise feel of controls. The thumbs are a bit longer however but now Im nitpicking. Great glove and keeps my hands warm in sub 30 deg.
I live in the mountains and it gets decently cold up here sometimes. How do these gloves do in weather below 40 degress?
A shopper on Oct 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It depends on how far below 40 we are talking. I used these gloves to commute to and from New York City during the winter last season and they held up pretty good in 30 degree temps for a little over an hour. I've also used the gloves on some pleasure rides during the winter and will honestly say that if you are riding for a long period of time in the cold, on the highway, on a windy day, with no wind protection, your hands will get painfully cold. Two more points I want to make; (1) I hold up well in the cold and have a tolerance that most riders don't have; and (2) these are really nice looking well crafted gloves.
I just want to confirm the sizing from the video vs the sizing chart. My Right hand measures 3.5". According to the chart I should get the Medium. But I wear an XL in AlpineStars gloves. Will the Large Joe Rocket work for me or should I get the Medium? Thanks!
Jim J on Oct 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello there. I honestly have found that most brands are sized smaller. Joe Rocket being one of the better or truer to size than most. However, for informational purposes, I use 2XL in both Aplinestars and Joe Rocket. Both fit snug on my hands, Joe Rocket feeling a little less snug than Alpinestars. If you go medium, you will be returning and exchanging hem for sure. The Joe Rocket glove is a very nicely constructed glove made with a quality leather. It will break in and stretch for sure.
