It works but just barely.
After testing each feature in real world scenarios and with no previous BT system experience, I have to say that as a mid-priced bluetooth helmet intercom system the Interphone Urban is average at best.

Good: Easy install, quick setup, large buttons, price.
Bad: Low sound quality, weak FM, poor call audio.

The installation was a snap. The printed instructions are rather bare but they do have excellent YouTube videos which makes things crystal clear. It paired/connected to my phone very easily and the large buttons were easy to find even wearing gloves. From there everything went down-hill.

The sound quality is below average. The mid-range is weak and the bass is non-existent meaning the speakers sounded "tinny" like cheap dollar store headphones. This is from the FM radio, phone calls and MP3s from my cell, no matter how high the quality.

The FM radio kept cutting out regardless if the station signal was strong or weak. In Chicago both B96 and WGCI 107.5 are extremely strong signals yet I would loose both every few seconds.

The volume on the phone ringer was barely audible and the only reason I knew that I had a call was that the music would pause. I couldn't find a way to turn up the volume on the ringer.

The call quality was reminiscent of the old AT&T guy commercials, "Can you hear me now?", where I would have to keep having a person repeat themselves, especially in high wind. At one point I had to pull over just to hear and be heard.

The bluetooth connection to my phone kept having intermittent "dead air" during MP3 playback. And this was supposed to be BT v4.1, which is the same as my gym headphones which have no problems whatsoever.

The only thing I couldn't test was the intercom due to no one I know having one that I could test with.

Over-all I have to go with - "You get what you pay for." There are more expensive systems on the market that do the same things but I was trying to save a buck and test out one of the latest devices on the market. The Interphone BT helmet communication system works but just barely.

Works great for music
Easy to install and link with cell phone. I bought it to stream music 95% and GPS 5% does both great. I have not nor will i try FM radio (this is 2016 people), I ride to escape so no phone conversations needed (again 2016, text me) and intercom may or may not be tried (probably not as I am not a fan of people's chit chat). The battery life is great and the sound quality is average. I have zero complaints for the price vs. quality. Buttons are very easy to get to with gloves.

Dont go cheap
I bought this to replace my sena and boy was i let down.

ok it has 8 buttons (face power/music/intercom(connect)/radio - sides are track skip fwd/back volume up/down) but while doing a hundred(speed limit) pressing on the front of the device (Vol Up) it feels like its going to flip off your head and the side buttons feel like cheap tech that you know wont last. the face buttons also didnt work well i had to tap a certain spot to get a response and in my supersport gloves ( slightly smaller than my touring gloves) this was a very hard press.

Multiple times i had to manually reconnect the bluetooth to the phone as it wouldn't auto reconnect (pulled over on highway to fix).

Turning my head to check for traffic it snagged on my jacket collar i had to turtle my head down and up to get it off (i must of looked like a dumbass doing this).

Installing the device was fine but having two points of install seems old
1- attach device to helmet
2- attach speakers in helmet to device

The audio quality was quite good this i liked but soon as i stopped for fuel switched off headset it was a pain in the ass to rc.

I hope the designers go back to the drawing board for this one.

Good product and simple to use and install.
This is a basic Bluetooth system. Sound is clear and fairly loud, it could use more bass when listening to music but does the job. Buttons are easy to find even with gloves. Road noise at high speed makes it tough when on the phone. Battery last a long time when streaming music. When turned on the voice communicates the battery level. If you want a basic system, mainly for music, I highly recommend.

Great bang for the buck!
If you want a simple headset that will help you want for music, navigation assistance, take decent calls with not dropping connection, then I would definitely consider this option if I were you. I was considering picking up the Sena5 and then I heard about these, and I am glad I did. The speakers on here are better, and the connection is solid from my experience due to it's bluetooth 4.1 vs Sena's 3.0. Other pluses, super easy to instal, locating buttons is pretty easy

I hear people complaining about the speakers, but I think it may be their helmet's loudness. Though I could be wrong. I personally think that they are pretty solid. I also think keeping the volume to a reasonable level is key because I don't want to drown out the ambient sounds. Also, these are the same speakers that are on the higher end models, leading me to me believe that they are better than other sub 100 price point.

For this price range I don't think that you will get anything better. There are better pieces of course, and if your'e expecting the quality of a 200$ piece then I am going to say that you will be disappointed. But if you have reasonable expectations, then you will me very satisfied.

This works just fine for music. The only problem is at high speeds using the intercom it become really hard to make out what the other person was saying, mainly cause it caught a lot of wind noise. At lower speeds I could hear them perfectly clear though
