Saved my foot
* I couldn't truly test them under rainy conditions.
* Confort was great, and if fit perfectly.
* Design and price also great.

Now the juicy part. I had an accident with them, that involved 2 motorcycles more. One of the bikes (the one behind me) felt over my left feet. I thought it was broken, but after arriving to ER they told me I was just bruised.
I'm thankful I got these boots, and they work for their truly purpose, PROTECT!.

Please, always gear up. If you think the trip doesn't need protection, it means you can walk it. You never know what's around the corner.

Comfortable all weather riding boots.
Wore these on a 2600+ mile 5 day ride through all 4 seasons as my only pair of footwear. Very comfortable boots and confirmed weather resistance through rain and unexpected snow storm. Out of 3 pairs of riding boots these are my most comfortable.

Great Boots!!
Just got these boots but so far I am very impressed. They are extremely lightweight and very well made.

I wore them several times for a few hours around the house to break them in but I found this was not really necessary as they are very comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear an 11 wide (just wide, not extra wide) so I was a little concerned about European fitting. When wide widths are not available I usually order 1/2 to 1 size larger. In this case I also took into account that I wear thicker socks with boots so I went with a size 12 (46 European). They fit very well and the width is good (not to wide, not to narrow). There is a little room in the toe box but personally I like that. I have what I call 'claustrophobic' feet (I don't like anything tight on my feet) so I like a little room to wiggle my toes. Sole is a little stiff but supportive. I think these could be worn all day comfortably. So far I've worn them for 4 hours straight and they were very comfortable.

Only slight complaint would be that the zippers are a little hard to zip up initially. But I've noticed they seem to get a little easier each time I wear them so as they break in I think this will no longer be an issue.

Features and protection are top notch for the money. Toe and heel protection, two sided ankle protection, shin protection and Gortex all at a very reasonable price. Good job TCX.

Revzilla gear geeks and shipping were great as usual. I'm very satisfied end to end.

Fantastic Boots, With Only One Small And Easily Remedied Complaint...
I ordered these and the SIDI Traffic Rain boots at the same time. I really needed to save money so I wanted to see if the Sidi's were even close. They weren't. The TCX's blew them away in every respect for only $90 more. Everything about the boots is A1 fantastic. The attention to detail is wonderful, as evidenced by the velcro connector attached to the zipper slide, which lets you attach the zipper closer to the velcro at the top where the actual side closure for the boot attaches. This prevents the zipper from opening inadvertently. Very nice touch. The zippers were hard to close at first, but now I have figured out where to position each side to make closing easier. I felt the foot compartment was a bit on the large size. The boots fit my foot as far as length, but I could feel my foot had a lot of room inside the compartment, which made shifting weird because of a lack of responsiveness. As a fix, I ordered some Superfeet Green size inserts, and the large size of those filled up the compartment beautifully. So now my foot fits tightly but comfortably into the compartment and the responsiveness is back in full effect. When you consider the features of this boot- the heel and toe box, Gore-tex membrane, shin protector, malleolus protection, and a full CE rating, there just isn't a competitor for them within this price range. Not even for $50 or $100 more! These boots are fantastic and I highly recommend them. And as usual big props to Revzilla CS for making returns and exchanges a breeze. Keep the shiny side up!

Awesome fit.
I am very hard to fit for shoes and I found these to be surprisingly very comfortable. Being a novice adventure rider, I did not consider the hazard of having zipper boots when riding in mud, as the mud can prohibit the zipper from working which can be frustrating.

Very good boot for the money
I typically wear a US size 10.5 to 11, so I ordered the 45 based on the conversion chart. Way too big. I was afraid a 44 (US 10) would be too small, but it's perfect (and as always Revzilla made the return easy). They look small; some say these run right on size, I say they run large. And they're not for wide feet - mine are average width, these are plenty snug but not uncomfortable.

Once I got the right size, it's a really comfortable boot. The only place I get a little discomfort is at the top - there's no padding and the relatively hard ridge makes the shin a little sore at the end of a long ride. Not a big enough problem to complain about, and will probably ease with time.

The toe box is pretty compact - it takes a little extra effort to get it under the shifter on my RT, and sometimes I was shifting more with the side of my foot. But I feel like some more break in on the ankle flex will take care of that.

Rode about 80 miles in a steady rain and my socks were bone dry. On the other hand, air flow is pretty minimal, but not unbearable in 90+ degree heat. I'm pretty sure it can be a four-season boot for me, 30 to 100 degrees.

Style? Who cares? That's not how I choose my gear.

Great, though a bit dorky-looking when brand new
There is a strong hint of Devo/Star Trek going on with these boots when brand new. But that starts to fade after a few weeks of wear. They're like butter now. They seem really well made and provide a precise feel with the foot controls.

I like going with TCX. They do one thing (boots) and do them well.

TCX and Revzilla has done it again!
OK TCX and Revzilla - now you have done it!
Comfy boots at a good price. WOW

This is my third set of TCX boots. They get better each time!! I wear a 12 EEEE (just about the size of the box the boots come in), and ordered a 46 (US 12). They fit well, and are really comfy. The width seems fine in the toe box and the rest of the foot area, but the ankles are a bit tighter because I have some diabetic swelling in my ankles. I am certain they will stretch a bit, and otherwise, they are perfect. They are taller than the TCX X-Ride boots I had before, but they are not a stiff, and do not seem to cut into my shin as much. The microfiber is much softer and pliable than the leather on the old boots. I have worn them around the house for several hours for the last three days. The fact they are breathable with the Gore-Tex exceeds the X-Ride, so even just being indoors they are cooler on my feet than the earlier models. Now to test them on the bike! I am sure they will perform well.

Can't go wrong with TCX boots
Been wearing these boots daily for weeks now and it's pretty much broken in. I went with a size up (45) because I wear a 10.5US and decided to go up a size for comfort. When I first put them on they were slightly larger than expected but once the boots broke in they fit fine, I do wish I went with the smaller size.

The construction of the boots is well made and beefy. They have been in all sorts of climates and survived, I even stepped in a 4 in deep puddle and they kept my feet dry. With that being said even though these gortex boots are supposed to breath the upper part of the boot is not made of gortex and will make your legs sweat in hot weather.

The zipper sides mixed with the Velcro closure keeps these boots very secure and the inside material is padded nicely and is comfortable enough for me to wear all day.

The under soles of the boots is a little rigid at first but will break in. They are a little slippery on wet surfaces but not so much that I can't keep my bike up right at a stop.

I would definitely recommend this brand.

Fantastic Boots
I was looking for a Gore Tex boot and and tried on two sizes in each of 4 different boots until Revzilla turned me on to these in size 43. Initially the boots fit perfectly including the toe box and length. I wore them around the house and just sat on my bikes (sport and sport tourer) and they comfortable fit the pegs and brake and shift levers naturally adjusting to the differences in each bike with thinking about it. Over a 2000 mile trip they were totally comfortable on and off the bike; and totally waterproof when riding through heavy rains in New Zealand.
I have a slightly larger than size 9 but E+ width. I have gone through 5 different boots over the last few years looking for the right fit and these are it. I have trouble with boots, running shoes, and shoes and these are the only ones that fit from the get go. Great value and great protection ( as I discovered when my bike argued with car over a lane.) and ECE 2 level saved me from a fractured leg.

How high does the boot ride? Basically the measurement from the bottom of the back of the heel to the top of the back of the boot.
Eddy A on Aug 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 8.5" from inside.
How flexible is the sole on this boot? On the Anthony flex-scale, where does it sit?
SRW on Jul 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The boot is very comfortable when riding. The shank in the sole provides a stiffness that prevents full flex of the foot while walking. There was enough flex to allow me to walk comfortably around the tourist sites, but I would not recommend a hike.
How is this for wide feet?
Adam E on May 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have a 8 1/2 EE foot with a high instep. These boots were not wide enough for me. I have a pair of TCX Infinity EVO Gore-Tex boots size 42 which fit great so these are shaped different.
