Great all purpose boot.
like the ease of getting in and out of the boot, Boot runs a tad narrow. My 9.5 foot fit nicely in a 10. one foot slightly wider than the other. 9.5 was too tight even after sweaty break in. The 10s are perfect. The air vent i can actually feel working... so a big plus for that. I also liked, and the primary reason for this boots selection.... no hardware on the inside of the leg to catch on Rear-set equipment. :) My vortice boots caught on them and was very distracting at the track when riding aggressively. Have had the boots to two track days now and i'm sold on them.

Great package of Protection with Style
I have always worn Sidi boots and I am not disappointed in my new purchase. The boots are well made, break in quickly, flow a decent amount of air, and although I haven''t crash tested them, I feel confident in their ability to protect my feet. I wear a size 10-10.5 US and I initially purchased a Euro size 44. I found that my toes were rubbing the front of the boot, which was troublesome. I exchanged them for a 45 (thanks Revzilla for making that super painless!) which solved the toes rubbing, but left me with a bit too much room in the instep for the boots to feel "locked" in place while walking. I put a set of Spenco athletic insoles in them and bingo the are now perfect and super comfy. The Techno 3 calf adjustment is a blessing, it really allows me to custom fit the boot to my calf for wearing leathers inside the boot or riding jeans on the outside. Until the boots fully breaks in they are a little clunky to walk around in, once broken in they are very acceptable for walking around an event.

Great Boots for the Price
In my search for a quality yet affordable entry to track riding boots I tried on multiple options from a few manufactures. I found that the Roarr was the best bang for the buck for me. They are very comfortable and seem to get more so every time I put them on. They are firm and supportive but don’t feel at all restrictive - the Techno 3 adjustment makes for what feels like a custom fit. I usually wear a US11 in sneakers, but went with a US10 / 44 in the Roarr, as I’d found them to be slightly more forgiving in size than the Vertigo boots, in which I required an 11. Though it would be nice to have more adjustment options, Dainese seems to have a good idea of a safe middle ground for fit.

Overall, the quality of the boot feels great - presently I’m confident that they’ll last for quite some time. In addition, most of the parts are easily replaceable, and beyond that, the boot can be resoled to further extend its life. I feel that the Roarr is a great balance between economy and performance with style to… boot.

So far, I love them. Highly recommend.

A great upgrade!
As a new rider I was warned, "Buy your gear before starting out" but as a young rider, I thought I could manage with a pair of Hiking boots. Boy was I wrong. A trip to the ER and a broken foot later, I decided to invest in my own safety and get "bomb proof" everything. So looked for the most amount protection at a reasonable price. Which is what lead me to buy this pair of boots, I own the white and black version but the protection scheme is the same, stiff sole, torsion protection, Ect. I do have to say that if you are thinking about rocking the black and white version, you have to be committed, on top of having an aggressive look; the white gives it an "in your face" little extra. I got these boots in a size 11 since that's what I wear on most shoes/boots and this one fits fine although it feels a little wide around the ball of the foot, which actually worked out great because I can wear thick socks when it's cold out. The top of the boot is actually quite generous even with the fastener tightened all the way down and wearing the thickest pair of socks I own, I still have space to tuck in my pant legs, but if you have thicker calves, don't worry, it's completely adjustable. I think that if you are looking for maximum protection while on the street this is a great option, even if this is meant to be an entry-level "track day" boot. After my accident, my mentality has shifted to the "better have it, and not need it, than need it, and not have it" Now to be completely honest I have yet to wear this out on the street, so I can't really give these boots a 5/5 or else I would. To conclude if I could go back in time, I would punch myself in the face for thinking that a pair of hiking boots would cut it. Stay safe out there and enjoy the ride!

Runs large, but they are great boots.
My TCX boots were getting pretty worn, and I wanted to get something with better protection for this riding season. I don't usually go for the robocop look, but even I have to admit that these things look pretty cool.

The construction of the boots is excellent. They seem to run one size large. I usually wear a size 10 and I initially ordered a 44. They were too large, but thankfully Revzilla has an excellent return policy. The size 43 fit me much better.

In my opinion these boots are an excellent value, and should keep my feet protected should the worst happen.

Nice boot for the money but a little narrow
I've got about 1000 miles in these boots in the past few weeks and they are starting to break in nicely. I did get a bit of an abrasion on my ankle on my first ride but after adjusting the tension on the back plate, I haven't had any more problems there. I noticed on the last leg of a recent trip, day 3, that the ball of my foot was feeling compressed by the toe protector. It was slightly uncomfortable but given the lack of choices of manufacturers of quality street/track boots I'll take the slight discomfort for added safety.

SIDI finally upgrades the Vertigo to something greater.
If you have been a long time Vertigo owner like me (2-3 pairs) you'll just want to go buy these now.

They finally got around to something a step ahead, the redesigned air flow vent is much improved. They did drop the heal cup guards with non-replaceable but the rest is a step up. The new locking ratchet system is much easier to use. Although it does take a bit of practice to find the release clips with gloved hands.

Still, the boot itself feels much like the Vertigo, you just get more improvements that were needed elsewhere. Its still a great boot for the day-to-day ride and track days. It does still feel a tad narrow for some folks and like the Vertigo, I'm kinda between a 46-47 size so I usually go 46.

Great boots with plenty of protection
Bought these boots for the great looks and protection. The adjustable calf allows to either tuck your pants or secure and wear over. Fairly comfortable to walk in after breaking it in. Rode in sub 40 weather and my feet were warm, the closable went provides some airflow but anticipate it to be fairly warm over the summer which is fine with me as i prefer protection over comfort.

Overall great product and great price point for the quality and protection you get.

Good boots, bit pricey
I bought for protection and they are much better than anything I've had. I bought grey instead of my usual black, wish I stuck with black. Calf is a bit large, I have decent calves too. I can easily fit jeans on inside and still not that tight, probably made for smaller leathers to fit inside. Anyways if buying for protection these are great, I feel like iron man in them.

I have HUGE calfs and ankles, these are the only boots I have found so far that have actual TRULY adjustable calf setups, I still had to get 1.5 sizes larger for my ankles but the calf setup allowed me to properly tuck my leathers into the boot.

Worn SIDI's on tracks only for 15 years + and have found them to hold up well to all manner of abuse from get off's - to toe grinding - to sliding the bottoms into corners. Have tried other brands but have never found any that fit my feet and don't fatigue me like the SIDI's.

How large of a calf will this boot accommodate?
Elizabeth J on May 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Big, especially if you don't plan on putting jeans/leather on inside. I have 16in calf and I have on smallest setting, you can adjust them quite a bit.
I know this boot isn't yet out, but looks like it's going to be at the top of my list as what I'm looking for in a ds. As for fit, im usually in a 44 in Astars; are Sidi fairly close? Still reviewing this a bit and may have missed it, are these going to be more like an "air" or "wp"? Need new boots before COTA gp in April, and will be riding @1000 miles round trip (don't mind running through rain, but can't stand wet socks).
Jason O on Feb 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There are lots of boots that manufacturers claim are "waterproof" that might be water resistant at best. These boots don't make any claim so beware. I bought a pair of $300 AXO boots thinking at that price they'd be waterproof and they leak like a sponge. Did some more research and learned that not only do waterproof boots have to be GoreTex, there are levels of GoreTex as well, cheaper boots have a lower level meaning fewer hours of waterproof in a steady rain. Depressing as it sounds, if you don't buy $500 GoreTex boots they will not be waterproof in a relentless rain. Consequently, you'll need to buy the Sidi Adventure or your socks will surely be wet.
WHERE IS THE REVIEW VIDEO????

How is the fit compared to the Sidi Vertigo? I wear a size 48 in sidi boots. I dont see one listed
Sydney P on Aug 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: they run small just like the Vertigo... had a set... used the Roarrs to replace them... got another 1/2 size larger and i'm much more comfortable now. I normally wear a US 9.5.... got these in the 10 and have never looked back! Great boot. good ventilation as well.
How do these boots do in the rain?
Oliver B on Jan 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Never been in the rain with them. If I was my Ducati would have a sniffle.
I've notice there isn't much info or news about this boot out there. Definitely no videos out there. You guys should be the first to get it out there.?
A shopper on May 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The first shipment already went out, I received mine on 4/27/15. what's listed here to go out early May is restock. Great boots.
my vertigos allow my Levi 550 pants to squeak by over the boots. I wear jeans over boots for commuting.
Would these Roarr boots allow that?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have a pair of Rev'it Rockefeller Jeans (described as straight cut Levi 501s by RevZilla) and they barely fit over the top part of the boots.
How long was the "break-in" period for these?
Jeron G on Jul 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I wore mine around the house with my riding socks for a few hours one evening again for a few hours in the morning. Rode that afternoon and they were ready to go.
