Great bang for the buck!
I'm just getting back into riding and I had two prevailing thoughts about buying a brain bucket. The first thing I was wondering about is if helmets were as uncomfortable as some were in the 90's and the other thing was I need to get as much good helmet as I can afford.

I can now safely say that, at least this helmet, is MUCH more comfortable than anything I wore in the 90's! My Wookie sized bald head measures at 24.25 inches and the XL is spot on. I'm blown away with how well things fit and there are no "hot spots" anywhere. I thought the blow up cheek pads may have been a gimmick, but they allow me to add just the right amount snug feel.

I'm also impressed with how feature rich this lid is for the price. The sun visor has already been a great help, the Batman style graphics have drawn several compliments and the weight is something that anyone should be able to ride with, without any issues.

Overall, I could not be happier with either the helmet or the great service from Revzilla!!!!!

Awesome helmet
I got this a few weeks ago and I love it. I've been a scorpion fan since day one. I like what they have done with the shield latching system, the EXO 1100 was a PIA. Still has the drop down visor that is adjustable. Two bad things that I've noticed about the helmet are 1) It lets a lot of air through even with all vents closed and it's kind of loud. 2) The shield only has the tap to open it on left side. So if your at a light, clutch in and wanna flip your visor up it kinda awkward with the right hand. I've got the SENA SMH10 installed in the helmet in no time and it's got nice holes for the speakers. Just a note the liner taps/buttons are removable and it makes install so much easier to just take them out when reinstalling. The book does not tell you this. Lastly it comes with a clear shield unlike the picture they have posted, so don't buy a clear shield.

A Great Helmet
The best thing I can say about this helmet is the one thing that nobody wants to say. It saved my life.

Everything looks good and feels good, its cool on hot summer days but the most important thing is that it is tough. When I went down I was going fast enough to slide down the road for a good distance, then continue to role for a short time and finally came to rest in someones yard. Most of my gear was definitely not in good shape but the helmet held up perfectly, only some scratches on the side. Im going to be moving funny for a week or two but I can only imagine what I would have looked like if I didn't have quality gear.

Good Helmet
Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. Helmet looks and feels great. It comes with an really nice carrying case to store it when not in use. The air pump system to inflate and deflate the cheek pads allows you to adjust it to your face. The internal sun visor is dark enough for me so that I do not need to wear sun glasses or a dark visor while riding during the day. There are cut outs for speaker if you choose to install them for music or for communication. The helmet allows a good amount of air through the vents when open as your are riding. The only complaint I have is the noise level, as it can get a bit loud.

If you are in the market for a new helmet and are not wanting to spent $400+, I would recommend taking a look at this one.

Good helmet with a few grumbles
I needed another helmet after an accident, so I picked this one up to replace an EXO-900.

Pros:

Comfy

Flip shades

Liner feels like a dream

Style

Light

Cons:

Padding feels a little thick through the face area (feels like it's pushing on my cheeks a little#

A little loud #and yet still quieter than my EXO 900#

When it rains #I ride year round#, the bottom of the liner gets soaked and it absorbs like a sponge. This helmet gets COLD!

Sometimes when I turn my head, the top vents make a weird
buzzing noise #distracting)

Unlike my 900, there wasn't a lot of love to give to my Bluetooth. There is no real mount point.

Past that, I'm still glad I bought it. It's been a great little helmet, but I have to admit, I don't think I'd come back to it.

Perhaps I had too high of hopes...
I've come from a long line of HJC helmets. I've never spent more than $150 on a helmet. This was the exception. It had most of what I wanted; hi viz, internal sun shield, good ventilation.

Well, I received this and the fit was spot on. It looked awesome! I spent 2 nights (several hours) wearing it inside my house to make sure there was no pressure points. A-Okay.

So, I decided to ride it to work the next morning. Big mistake. This thing is loud. VERY loud. Above 50mph and it's painful to my ears. This is behind the massive Givi Airflow windshield that makes it so I can ride a 1/2 helmet without getting a single breath of air.

The external shield fogs up quickly in the morning. I know this will not be useable once it gets into Fall and Winter. I'll have to stick with my HJC and trusted Pinlock system.

The internal sun shield is a whole nother story. It plain sucks. The morning my exterior shield fogged up, so did the internal shield. The internal shield was so bad, even that afternoon, that I couldn't see through it. When I got home, I washed it and wiped it clean with Scorpion's supplied microfiber cloth. The internal shield (from now on IS) had a gummy goop on it. So I scrubbed and scrubbed (with the microfiber cloth) under running water until I could no longer feel the stickiness. Well, I hold it up to the window, scratched to heck and back.

So, I emailed RevZilla and they were a huge help. They had Scorpion ship me a new IS immediately. Well, that one came in. It still had the same goop as the first one. This one was so sticky that some of the paper it was wrapped up in STUCK to the IS.

I contacted RevZilla again, just giving up hope and telling them I'll just deal with it and to be prepared for other complaints. They offered $20 in RevZilla cash to buy another if I pleased. I don't think I will though. I'll use it for a jacket, boots, or something else that catches my eye.

In summary; YAY RevZilla! Boo Scorpion!

Great Helmet
Purchased this helmet after taking my first hit to the pavement my last set of gear did its job especially the helmet which was trashed after hitting head first and then sliding on my face for a city block while dislocating both shoulders fracturing my neck and a separated clavicle.

Picked this helmet up and man I love the comfort of it i went for a tighter fit this time. I love how well the helmet keeps the sound in the helmet with the sena system which went in nicely.

D-rings are the selling point IMO now that these helmets are coming with racket type system. Sorry but if its not broken don't fix it IMO. The face shield had very positive detents to it.

The face shield scorpion is know to have the best for resistant shields out there and its well know but I opted for the race face shield with the pin locks and tear off post for obvious reasons. Im still not to sure about how i feel on the inserts right now. Overall I plan on grabbing a second one in the off season as a back up never can have to many helmets

Scorpion EXO-T1200 Alias Helmet
This helmet is a great value, the fit is spot on and the looks are great. I have received many comments on how well the Hi-Vis looks, not too much just the right amount. The internal visor is a big plus. Also shield changes for cleaning are the fastest and easiest that i have ever had.

This is my first helmet so I dont have anything to compare it to. The look is great. The inside liner feels great. The helmet feels pretty light. Overall it looks and feels like a premium helmet.

Had a Scorpion full face that I got for my Zuma 125 scooter and really liked it but it was hard to get my glasses on. Had a modular I let go with the sale of my 03 Kawi Voyager. Bought a new Kawi 650 Versys LT and we all know a new bike means a new lid. Got the neon yellow one so folks can see me better. If this new one is as good as the other Scorpion I will be a very happy biker. Thanks Revzilla for your great prices and my credit from my center stand purchase for the Versys.

First Helmet and wanted something that was bright so people could see me, I also bought it for the drop down sun visor so you don't have switch visors every time it's about to get dark out, but I'll still probably be buying a tinted visor it just looks sweet. I'll write another review and let everyone know my experience with it hope it's a good one!

Does the Scorpion EXO T1200 come with a pinlock ready face shield?
A shopper on Sep 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, the standard face shield is not pinlock-ready. I believe, though, that a pinlock-ready visor is available as an option.
When people say its loud, how loud is it compared to like driving down the highway with your windows open on a car?
I really like the helmet, ive never ridden a bike so i cant really compare to other helmets. Please help?
A shopper on Aug 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It's not. It's like putting her muffs on. If you are talking to someone with the helmet on you can hear them but not very easy. I have a very loud exhaust and it doesn't bother me at all. I actually open visor when crossing a intersection known for ambulances to make sure I hear them. If someone said it's load they are comparing it to wearing a helmet twice the price made to be quite or to wearing eAR plugs. I want to hear what's going on around me and it allows just the perfect amount of sound to me. You can always use ear plugs just be aware of your surroundings even more so if you cant hear anything.
does a scala rider system work with this helmet, there is nothing mentioned about ear pockets, or attaching unit, room for mic?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This does have cutouts for speakers under the cheek pads. I don't know about the Scala, but the Sena 20s speakers fit the cutouts. As far as a boom mike, you can fit it under the chin skirt, but a stick on mike works fine too just above the ball to inflate the cheek pads.
Is the color scheme available? I love the neon yellow/green with the red & would love to purchase this! It's one of the very few helmets that has everything I want & need if I can get this mix of colors!
A shopper on May 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I bought matte black and plan to pinstripe
What's the rating? DOT? Snell?ECE?
Joseph B on Feb 26, 2016

Does the Alias graphic version come with a darker interior sun visor than the solid version?

How big are the ear cutouts on this helmet? I've got a Sena 3S-W and the speakers were too big for my current helmet's cutouts, will they fit in this helmet?
Sean R on Apr 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It looks like probably. A quick measurement makes the ear holes look to be roughly 80mm while the specs on the Sena 3s-w say about 39mm.
I have not tried them myself, but it looks like it should fit.
