I disagree with Anthony.
This is a technical riding jacket with thick leather. Weighing just over 8 pounds with the optional ce level 2 back protector, a snug, true to size race, and ce level 2 armor standard under the dual comp beautifully painted aluminum sliders, this jacket is well worth the money if you're looking for a race jacket, which can be paired via 360 degree zipper to revit racing pants. It sits in the price range it belongs in however, and doesn't really give you a marvelous deal. You pay exactly what you should for a jacket this nice. It inspires confidence atop your ride. However I disagree with Anthony that it holds you in the riding position and is not the kind of sport jacket that can just be worn around. It's snug, and it holds the armor right where it should, but open up its front zipper and it's elastic panels and stretch material inside the arm make it feel nice on or off the bike. I personally wear mine all over and have yet to feel uncomfortable in it (although with the thermal liner in it can sometimes get warm when not riding). I also disagree that this is three quarter to full tuck riding position only. I ride a sport touring machine and Feel very comfortable in my upright to half tuck position. Wonderful jacket, and if it's in the price range you're looking at, no question it's the one for you. 11 out of 10 would recomend

ReVit continues to please
this replaces my tarmac jacket - I went down a size - Revit sizing seems pretty consistent. I like the lack of race hump on this jacket versus the Tarmac. I will do 400 miles with a backpack on and the tarmac made that a bit of a hassle. The most noticeable improvement over the Tarmac is the shoulder and elbow armor is much more form fit and comfortable. I bought it for its styling and it does not dissapoint. Love this jacket. However I would like to see Revit offer a matching leather pant for it that lives somewhere stylistically between the gear two pant and a full race pant. Finally - for a jacket at this price point it ought to come with the back protector already in it - gimme a break Revit!

Great Jacket, a Little on the Expensive Side
I haven't had this jacket very long yet, so my Durability rating isn't very accurate, but if the quality of the over all construction is any indicator, it should last for a good while. There are two small things I wish were different about the construction: 1) I would like the main zipper to be a little more heavy duty, I only got five years out of my A* jacket that had a similar thin metal zipper. 2) It would be nice if there were a securing strap across the zipper at the neck, just like there is at the base.
After those small critiques everything about this jacket is great. I usually wear a 38 is most all Euro style jackets, but trusting the size chart I went with the 46. My chest measurement put me right at the end of the 46, is the fit is snug with the liner in, but it fits very well and is not restrictive. The stretch panels allow me to move my arms freely despite the close fitting chest area. Over all it's a very sleek well styled jacket. It does not come with a back protector, and I'm not sure I could fit one in comfortably with the size I got; if you're on the large end of the spectrum, for the size you fall under, and you want a back protector as well then it would probably be a wise idea to got the next size up.

Awesome warm weather leathers.
My quick review of this jacket is it is AWESOME. If you like the way it looks in the pictures then you will undoubtedly love the way it looks in person. The leather is quality and feels durable yet surprisingly soft. With the proper fit (mine fits perfect so I can only speculate on that) the armor is in perfect position to protect and stay on your elbows/forearms. This jacket is ideal for weather between 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit, but with the right underclothes 50-95 degrees. I definitely recommend it if you're not deterred by the price.

I'm 5'11 155lbs and the size 50 fit me snug but nowhere near tight. I eventually bought the back insert and that made the jacket a perfect fit. Even with the back insert I was able to fit my northface (think heavy fall/cold spring jacket) underneath the leathers comfortably enough to ride.

Which brings me to my next point of the airflow in this jacket is fantastic for being a heavy leather jacket. When I wear this thing I feel a lot safer than riding without and lot of that is how heavy the jacket is. Despite that when you're up to speed the jacket breathes exceptionally well for what it is. In colder weather you will feel a noticeable amount of unwanted cold air coming through the jacket, but with a hoody you'll be fine in through the 60s, and with a light windproof jacket underneath you'll be good into the 50s. You will freeze to death if you wear this in the 40s.

If it's a blazing day outside you will die at red lights. I live in Maryland where we get plenty of days in the 90s with the humidity to match and I find that in order to ride comfortably I had to buy an under armor-esque shirt and wear only that underneath the jacket. And take my advice and get a long-sleeve undershirt vs a short so that the jacket won't stick to your forearms from your sweat (this makes taking it off a pain in the butt). This is not to speak poorly of the jacket mind you, it breathes well for what it is. If it's hot outside you're going to sweat wearing a leather jacket...but that's the price you pay for safety imo.

Awesome Jacket
This jacket looks sweet, but is also very comfortable. I am 6'0" 190 lbs. and normally wear a large or extra large jacket (regular clothes). Based on the sizing video, I opted for a size 54, which was a perfect fit. Not too snug, but just enough to keep my body in a perfect riding position. The quality of this jacket is outstanding, which it should be considering the price. I've been riding in moderately warm Los Angeles weather and it breathes well. Couldn't be happier. Just a note, I did order the seeseoft back protector to be on the safe side. Otherwise there is nothing to protect your spine on a fall.

Great job Rev'it!
Just got this jacket in today and my first impression was "Oh $h!t this is a badass jacket!" Lets keep this short and sweet.

1) Pricey jacket indeed but premium. Rev'it needs to just add the back protector to make this a 5 star.

2) Protection, which I don't plan to test seems top notch. You feel safe in a full cowhide leather. The armor stays where it needs to and doesn't slide around.

3) Plenty of pockets to put your things in, quite frankly I don't use them because I always carry my tank bag with me or a backpack. The liner inside can be useful for colder months but of course that depends on where you live.

4) This jacket feels like it's been broken in the moment you pull it out of the box and put it on.

5) This jacket is so damn stylish I would recommend it to anyone who likes that murdered out look.

6) if you're worried about fitment I'm 5'5 165 32"waist muscular. I bought a 50 just so I can fit my shoulders since they're broad. The arms are perfect length for 22" but bicep area can be a tad snug @14-14.5"

Happy shopping.

Great Jacket!
I paired this jacket with the Masaru Pants for a nice 2 piece suit that zips together perfectly. It looks great and after a few days of breaking in is super comfortable and feels amazing with a perfect fit.

My first leather jacket and Iove it!!!
For the past 10 years of riding, I had never owned a leather jacket and I was a little worried about fitment of the size I ordered. I’m 5’8 on a good day, 144 ish, so I bought it size 46. Man I put it on and there were Angels singing on the background...yes it fit perfect and I love it. Worth every penny, do go cheap on your safety, your life is worth much more, so please buy quality gear. Stay safe everyone.
