Awesome summer adventure and dualsporting pant
I've done 25k miles with these and a matching jacket over the past 3 years and they look pretty rough now but still work great. No broken zippers or tears at all. Never been down in it on pavement but many times off road. In the summer people are always asking if I'm hot when they see me and the answer is always no as long as I'm moving. Feels like you're riding in just a T-shirt and shorts. Useless in the winter but that's not why I bought them anyway.

These pants seem to be quite durable. They are somewhat heavy, but have a good fit around the waste and hips. They are long and thought I would need to hem them. But, when riding the pant legs just cover the laces on my boots. I find them comfortable when riding. i do not care for the two front pockets that hand out over the the outside. To me six pockets are just too many, and these extra pockets just add weight and volume, and will not give much benefit. Thought about having them removed. I also do not see much use of the removable legs to make them into shorts. The airflow is pretty good especially when spreading your knees out during a ride. Rode the other morning when is was 62 F, and they were just on the edge of being too cool. Was disappointed in Revzilla because the price dropped by $28 less then one week after I purchased them, and the company did not offer to give me the new reduced price. Maybe Revzilla is just not interested in long-term customers.

Horrible Protection
The stock pads in the hips are just basic foam, the hip pad pockets are so large I have yet to find a replacement that doesn't float around in the pockets while riding. The CE knee protectors are articulated and comfortable, but the construction of the zip of lower legs positions the pads between your knees and the tank, not where your knees will hit the road.

The fabric itself tore in the mesh sections and has visibly worn down where it came into contact with some tall grass at highway speed for a few seconds.

If you're considering these pants for protection, look elsewhere. If you're looking for something comfortable and breezy for a bicycle ride... you're probably on the wrong website but these could work.

Very adaptable pants with multiple storage options
I was so happy with these pants that I recently bought the Olympia Jacket to accompany them. They come with a liner for cold days and flow a ton of air on hot days. Here in San Diego weather I would say they are true 4 season pants.
There are multiple velcro and zipper closed pockets on these. So you can store your wallet, garage door opener, comb (for helmet head) mobile phone, etc. with security and easy accessibility because many of the closures have small rubberized tabs that you can grab to open and close even with gloves.
I am a 35 or so size waist and I ordered a 34 in these which fit well. They will go over my larger boots and seal down nicely over my calves. I did have them hemmed as I am a 31 or so inseam and they come long.
Well priced in my opinion I highly recommend them.

Poor protection but great comfort
Its really breathable and the pockets helps alot with carrying stuff but protection wise its not so great. low sided at about 30-35 on to my right side and everything on the right side of the pants became completely shredded by the grounds.

Fits my work pants and then some
I like these pants. I am a commuter and can wear my dress pants under these to work. It's summer now, and I am not sure how it will fair in fall weather, but we will see if it can last as long as my Air glide 4 jacket. The butt and thighs are a little narrow for me, which is no surprise, because I have this problem with most off the self paints, so the knee pads and shines tend to shift on me so I don't know where they will end up if I do have to test them in a fall. It would be great if they had straps for the pads like my jackets elbow pads so I could hold them in place.

I really wanted to like these Pants
So I think I left someone a comment rather than posting my own review so here I am writing everything over again.

I'm a 34/32 in jeans and some are snugger than others (Depending on the brand).

I wear shorts everyday to work and wanted a cooler pair of riding pants to wear over my shorts and for weekend rides.

It's back to the drawing board for me as these pants just didn't cut it for me.

I first got the 34's and they were very snug. it was like putting on a pair of skinny jeans. Had a muffin top popping out everywhere. Not a good look or a good feel.

I then got a pair of 36's that I figured would be sweet. I was wrong. They do fit more comfortably but still just not a comfortable pant that I see wearing all day long. The seams from the Shorts were rubbing on my legs and i can see that becoming very irritating on a long ride.

Also the pad velcro always snagged on my feet as I slipped these on and i was constantly reaching down the pant leg to reattach the velcro so it wasn't scratching my leg.

I love all the pockets and ventilation but they just don't work out for me. Hope this helps in your decision making.

Great riding pants for trips
These riding pants are pretty awesome. The ability to switch them into shorts is amazing to have in the summer. I ride where i want and then switch to something cool to hang out in if i didn't bring spare clothes.

The pants seem a little baggy when wearing them, but when on the bike it's for the better since it provided extra room for you. They flow air really well and don't get hot at all compared to jeans.

These are the pants you've been looking for
To start off, I've had a devil of a time finding pants that can double as both overpants for commuting, and regular pants weekend rides. To make matters worse, I'm 6'5, and my jeans are a 36x34, and I live in Tucson, AZ, so I needed something with a lot of airflow.

These pants are *exactly* what I needed, the mesh allows a ton of airflow, and there are more pockets than you can shake a stick at. The cut of the pants is extremely similar to my Levi's 505 jeans, so I can wear them over jeans and not have a lot of issues, or wear them on their own.

The hip/knee protections feels solid enough, I likely won't upgrade them. The pants work great when actually on the bike, they don't have a tendency to ride up or bunch.

My only small qualm is that the top side pockets aren't pass through, but I really can't expect that. Other than that though, I'm thrilled. I had them out this weekend in 110° heat, and I came back without feeling like my legs had melted off.

AirFlow, yes, these let the air in!!! Color, the Pewter(non-black option) reflects sunlight more than black, thus keeping my legs cooler from the constant sun. And also the ability to tailor them down to my size. I'm able to stretch them to a 3 season pant in TX.
Alex L on Feb 12, 2015
Airflow is the main reason for choosing these pants as it gets pretty hot where I am situated. They also have the protective armour, plenty of pockets, dry quickly, are adjustable and are worn outside the boot. Anything remotely similar to these through BMW started at 330 AUD. Looking forward to getting hold of them as we are coming into summer in OZ and all reports are it is going to be a scorcher. Hope the pants live up to their reputation.

Would these pants burn easily on the bike's exhaust?
Abdulla A on Jul 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I would lean towards yes; the inner calf regions where one typically finds heat resistant material do not have such protection. There are mesh panels to allow for wind flow; while they may withstand higher temps I personally would not risk it.
The jacket that matches these pants has a rain liner. To get rain protection with the pants and complete the set, what should I do on my lower half?
john d on Jun 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: john, you have a few options to get rain protection with these pants. You could either get an over the pants rain pant like the Olympia Horizon Rain Pants (option I took) or find a rain liner to go underneath if keeping the look of the "complete set" is important.
Can these pants be worn over a knee brace?
A C on Apr 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I wear the Leat enduro knee guards, under these pants. There is enough room for that and more. So a knee brace should fit.
