These are the pants you've been looking for
To start off, I've had a devil of a time finding pants that can double as both overpants for commuting, and regular pants weekend rides. To make matters worse, I'm 6'5, and my jeans are a 36x34, and I live in Tucson, AZ, so I needed something with a lot of airflow.

These pants are *exactly* what I needed, the mesh allows a ton of airflow, and there are more pockets than you can shake a stick at. The cut of the pants is extremely similar to my Levi's 505 jeans, so I can wear them over jeans and not have a lot of issues, or wear them on their own.

The hip/knee protections feels solid enough, I likely won't upgrade them. The pants work great when actually on the bike, they don't have a tendency to ride up or bunch.

My only small qualm is that the top side pockets aren't pass through, but I really can't expect that. Other than that though, I'm thrilled. I had them out this weekend in 110° heat, and I came back without feeling like my legs had melted off.

Great features, LOTS of storage, breathable and comfortable
I have been really happy so far with these pants. The fit is good and I love being able to hem the bottom six inches or so to fit for length. There is no end to the pockets. I feel SO many more motorcycle pants need REAL thigh/cargo pockets. I can open these while on the bike if I have to. The pockets are big but not too big. They hold my phone or wallet and other stuff no problem and keep them all safe and secure. The pants open at the bottom to make getting in and out of boots a snap. These pants zipper to my matching Olympia Jacket to keep them from riding down while riding. The zipper is rugged and easy as can be for one you have to do blind and behind your back (else you can zip them together before putting them both on but I've never really had to do that because finding that zipper and getting it lined up to the one on the jacket has been that easy. The value here compared to other pants is fantastic. You can DEFINTELY spend a LOT more and NOT get these features. I do mostly Sport Touring riding and though these pants are named "dual sport" (which conjures up lots of dirt biking with headlights) they are great for sport touring. I have no issue gripping the tank and in the heat these flow air to my body really well. I wore these recently in 80 plus degree weather here in LA and couldn't have been happier. Two things that would make these perfect would be a slide buckle at the waist (the dual snaps aren't bad but a buckle would just be slicker). With the belt loops I can wear a canvas belt and it's really comofortable and easy to cinch up even with gloves on. The other issue is the knee armor is a little light for on road. However, again, these are named dual sport pants. I wanted something that could play in the rain decently and have tons of storage for longer risdes and these pants to do that for me and offer good protection. The knee armor is replaceable and I think that and tailoring them to fit is all that I will ever need to do. I'm happy...thanks again REVZILLA!

Almost perfect adventure pants
This is a review for the previous version of these pants which is pretty much the same as this one. I want to say I absolutely love these pants. They are comfortable, they have tons of venting especially in the crotchal area. I love the cargo pockets.

My NUMBER ONE gripe about these pants is the feature to turn them into shorts. I don't use them as shorts but around the zipper area and I'm guessing where the pads are there is some velcro. This velcro (or whatever it is) it irratiates my skin, scratches it etc... I like to wear underpants (spandex) with these pants (which solves the irritation) and it scratches on my underpants and leaves them all fuzzy, will probably wear a hole in it eventually. Other than that my only other gripe is that the pockets, the regular side pockets, feel kind of flimsy. It feels as if after a while you'll wear a hole in them, but it hasn't happened yet. I try not to put my keys in there, I use the cargo pockets more which I do love.

The fit is great, it fits me well, I wear a 32 and I got a 32. The armor is in the right spots, I didn't need to adjust em. Even when I just do offroad I ride with these, because I don't have to put on safety gear its built in! Great for a warm weather pants, for rain I'm sure my crotch will get soaked O_o'.

So Olympia I love the price, fit, and protections on these but I don't like the convertible shorts feature, please make a version of these without that feature and I'll give you 5 stars across the board!

Poor protection but great comfort
Its really breathable and the pockets helps alot with carrying stuff but protection wise its not so great. low sided at about 30-35 on to my right side and everything on the right side of the pants became completely shredded by the grounds.

Good Mesh Riding or Over-Pants.
I am 5'11" 170lbs. Size 32 fit like a glove, and could even be worn tightly over a pair of smaller pants.

Haven't worn them riding yet, but they fit well, and zip into two of my Rev'it jackets.

No liner for these, so only for hot summer, or must be purchased separately.

Woman can wear these too
I was in the market for riding pants for hot weather (80F+) and women's options are limited. I also wanted a lighter color so that I didn't cook in all black. These pants have it all. I bought the pewter color in size 34 (I wear woman's size 9, 5'6" tall) and I can wear shorts or capris underneath without feeling squeezed. The ventilation is excellent and they're easy to get on/off over boots. They're too long on me and the excess material gets caught on my pegs and kickstand. I'm not sure what is meant by "easy hem" but my tailor charged me $45 to hem them and reposition the Velcro at the bottom. I really appreciate all the cargo pockets since I don't carry a purse when I ride. They have a ski-pants feel and are a little stiff but the protection feels right and is worth it. They zip into my Fulmer jacket perfectly. I understand there's a rain liner sold separately which is a good by if it rains in the summer where you live/ride. I don't see much rain where I ride so not an issue.

Does what it says. Cool and comfortable.
Left on a two-week ride from PA to Nova Scotia just after purchase. Lots of days in the 90's and these were much cooler than my other gear I've used for years. Very pleased. My only need is that I take a 32" waist but am over 6' tall so I'd like a little more length in the 32's or make a tall version. Otherwise great.

Great Pants
I wanted some mesh pants that weren't all black or multicolored and these are a great option. The pewter is a nice dark gray and it goes well with my hi-vis Revit Airwave jacket. I'm 6'3" and normally wear a 34x34 and the sizing is very good. The 34s fit me fine and are long enough as well, no hemming necessary. The mesh moves a lot more air than my riding jeans and the knee armor is comfortable. I don't know how often I'll make use of the shorts conversion, but it's a nice option to have.

Great air flow
Got these for a 7 day summer ride in Queensland.

As others have mentioned they have great air flow and I found the shorts feature is handy if you stop for an hour here and there, especially if your ride buddies are sweltering away in long pants!

Lots of pockets well located all with decent zippers so your stuff feels secure.

Didn't really like the knee armour in these pants though. Tried it in all of the 3 adjustable settings and It wasn't comfortable at all. Ended up just taking it out.
