Worth the price, but buy small.
I own the DKR jacket and wanted to complete the set after a few rainy days with no leg protection. These pants are tremendously technical and well made, and the material feels of quality. The DKR jacket is totally waterproof, so given the pants are of the same material I'll assume they are as well.

My gripes:
1. Size. Why, oh why are these so gigantic? Honestly, these pants are freaking huge! The size chart put me in a large, but based on the reviews I ordered a medium. I'm certainly glad I didn't go with large, but could have gotten away with a small - no joke! These pants have good adjustability in the waist and are sized big. So if you're a 34 waist, the medium (32 waist) will still work because you can tighten them.

The legs will accommodate a MX riding boot with knee/shin armor, and padded hip protectors with room to spare. This setup is really the only way the pants actually fit without looking ridiculous. The video mentioned something about staying true to the size chart if you intend them to be an overpant. Not so. You could probably buy any size and have room to wear three pairs of pants underneath them.

2. Protection. I don't buy this D3O armor. Like I mentioned earlier, I have the DKR jacket as well which has the same "protection." Really, it's a joke. The armor is soft, small, and given the outfit's oversized fit it would most likely fold away from the area it's meant to protect in a crash. For me, this is something I deal with because I wear additional armor anyways, which I recommend. The pants have these cute little hip protectors that are so laughably small, I'm convinced Icon put them there purely for marketability.

Overall, these pants are worth it if you're ok with the sizing. My review may seem a little negative, but it's the negative stuff we notice before the good. The good: these pants are well made, rugged, feel of quality, are adjustable, are undoubtedly waterproof, will accommodate beefy MX boots/armor, are easy to don, and have a lot of cool features. I won't speak to style as that's up to you.

Do not buy these pants if you intend to wear normal street riding boots and are looking for something fairly snug-fitting. Size down. The size chart is way too big.

Great Pant First Use First Impression
Size Chart conversions provided by Revzilla is spot on - measure your waist order accordingly. Near perfect fit, and very comfortable on my 45 degree rainy commute In Portland Or. this morning. 100% waterproof on my first time use - seems like these pants are very well designed and put together- a well made quality pant- has two front zipper pockets (didn't use those ) but seems they are waterproof. Easy on easy off overpant. 1st build quality and included knee and hip armour- Perfect for me on my KTM 1190R

Waterproof riding pants at a decent price
I've had the dkr jacket for awhile and was about to take a long trip. So it made sense to get the matching pants since I liked the jacket so much. I previously had the icon patrol pants and these dkr ones are lighter and more flexible. I rode through some decent rain with no leaks. They are comfortable with the d30 armor in the knees and hips. Only things that I would change is it would be nice if it had some air vents installed similar to the jacket as they can get a bit warm. Also I'd like if the leg opening was a little smaller giving a better fitting leg. I recommend these and will enjoy them for some time.

The pants run a bit big, I am a medium and they are more like a Large.
The pants have great quality, rugged material and nice padding. I would not recommend them for summer, but for the other 3 seasons, they are excellent.

Great for commuting as well as enduro
I first got this jacket/pant combo at Overland Expo in May of '15 and immediately put it to good use in the cold, wet and snowy conditions. I remained warm and dry the whole time, save for my hands of course.

The pants come sized up because they're intended as an over pant to what you may already be wearing (read as commuter-friendly). The zippers on the inside of each leg go all the way up so as to make putting them on over pants and removing them easier.

Whereas the jacket comes with a quilted liner for warmth, the pants do not. Liners in pants are typically for waterproofing and their proprietary Hycor™ shell performs that function quite well.

At first I really liked the suspenders but after a few days on the trail found they were chafing my nipples! I should note I had the same problem with the KLiM suspenders. Not a problem though as you can simply unzip them at the pant and roll them up and stow them away. Suspenders are something to consider for safety; you don't want your pants coming down if you fall and start sliding down the pavement/trail.

The fit/finish on these pants are really quite remarkable for the price point. I really like the silicone ribbing on the waistband that keeps your shirt tucked in as well as keeps the waist from sliding down for a case of plumber's butt. Most people don't know this but you get three different pockets in which to place your D30 armor pads in the knees which is to adjust for height/leg length. You also get the D30 pads in the hips.

Another factor that one might consider are the wide range of colors this suit comes in: tan, black and "glory" (I call it bubble gum ice cream). As much as I like other suits I have from BMW or KLiM, sometimes I really don't want to look like everyone else and kind of like the enhanced visibility on the bike. I've ridden long enough to achieve confidence but there's no doubt that when you show up in one of these suits it sure looks like you know what you're doing. It's like saying "don't follow me... you won't make it."

Like I said about the jacket, these pants are best for cooler temps (<75F) but I have worn them up to 100 F and they weren't horrible. Some of my other suits that are better all year round aren't as wind/waterproof as this. This is a pair of pants (and jacket) I'm going to wear here in SoCal from probably November to April.

Pro's:
Very wind/waterproof and great for cooler temps and wet weather
Nice fitting, easy to put on and remove
High end build quality
Con's:
Not for summer riding (for me)
Bottom line: Probably the best value out there for a cooler temp/wet weather ADV pant with a lot of great colors to choose from.

truly waterproof
I bought these pants (and jacket) one day before a big storm, and was a bit apprehensive. The next morning I was riding in 30 degree weather through the heaviest rain i've ever drove through (in car or bike) let alone experienced. There was hail and slight wind, but this outfit was perfect. I got to work 1`00% dry and semi-warm. These clothes didn't absorb any water. Usually I leave my rainsuit to dry in the corner off my office. but everything was pretty dry when I got in. The water simply dripped off.

Now when I say relatively warm I mean warm in all but one spot... or two. The outside of my thighs get a bit of cold air when I ride (bike ergonomics). But overall I was quite warm considering the temperatures.

The high zipper on the inside makes it extremely easy to remove my boots, by far this is my favorite feature of the pants. The video mentions only two pockets, which might seem like a downside, but they are extremely deep and wide; you can fit a lot inside of them. You should note unlike regular icon overpants, these do not have a pass-through zipper if you want to get to your jeans pockets.

As others have said they run large, I'm a 34x34 when I buy pants, and I spent a good time in the store comparing med-large (spoilers: I got the medium) They both fit fine around the waist, but the large had TONS of room in the legs. I figured if I ever came off the bike this would allow the knee armor to move out of place. Also they were really long and the bottom of the pants dragged on the ground even in my boots. So Like everyone else says BUY A SIZE DOWN

Now for the complaints: The bottom button near the cuff rarely stays clasped, it doesn't seem to actually do anything, but when I walk they move around and jingle like the spurs in an old time cowboy film.... I guess it's just one complaint, hardly a deal breaker. So why 4 stars you ask? I believe these pants are too basic for the price tag. These don't have more features than any other icon pant that sell for ~130, yet these are over 2 times the price? just for water proof material? That seems a bit outrageous to me, but I will admit they work well.

I haven't used them in warm weather so I can't comment on that aspect. But for cold/wet riding they work great.

Great product, great value.
I was looking at spending a lot more than I did on these but they looked OK . using them in the dry and the wet so far has been fine. In fact they have been perfect.

I probably would perfered them tighter all over but for what they are does that matter.

Have not tested the padding etc in a fall but I hope I don't. It seems to be in the right places and is comfortable.

Looking for top pants not at top prices, these are them.

Only point is they maybe a little hot in mid summer but I live in a hot place.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and commute all year, an hour each way several times weekly. For the last three years I've been using the Icon Patrol pants and jacket, which the Raiden replace. I've had two Patrol jackets, both of which had a front zipper that failed. The Patrol pants after three years lost their waterproofness, both at the seams and through the fabric. The main irritation I had with them was the waist snaps wouldn't hold when I bent over, and the cuff snaps and gaiter didn't work well. The Raiden pants and jacket are a great improvement. The zippers are a different style and look like they will not fail early. Both pants and jacket weight about half as much as the Patrol. They both fit well and are very comfortable. The snaps on the pants work perfectly and are secure. The pant zipper is now on the inside of the legs as well. I have ridden a couple of hours at highway speed in very heavy rain and stayed completely dry and warm; no leaks anywhere. Even better, the fabric itself did not absorb water; they dried within minutes indoors. I don't like clothes that have brands and logos displayed all over them so I bought the tan models; several times people have not realized there was writing and thought they were seeing desert camo. I'm very happy with them. The quality of design and construction is excellent, often better than those of my friends that cost twice as much. I haven't had an opportunity to assess how protective they are, but I assume they are as least as good as the Patrol models which performed great in several off road crashes and one low speed on road. No damage to gear or me.

Needs Improvements.
Wore these in AK and a ride back through Canada. I'm a 36x32 and squeezed into the large. I can wear fleece under them and can stay warm before the sun comes up or at night. Little baggy below the thighs. Luckily I wear tall gaitors over the pants with chainsaw boots because the cuffs are baggy. Drafty when it's cold and easy to be splashed up and get socks wet through puddles. Zippers have held up so far so I don't have to take my boots off to put on pants. Could use another exhaust zipper to let air pass through from the thigh when it's hot. Not as breathable as I was expecting. Knee and hip pads are tiny and stiff and would move in a crash. Better off with my old way of using snowboarding pants, padded mountain biking impact shorts and skateboarding knee pads.
