I needed some hip and armor protection to go underneath my kevlar jeans, these were the ticket.

offers good protection

Great fit. Well constructed. The armor plates for the knees and hips remove/return easily; this is important, since the long-john like "pants" are a snug fit and would be difficult to put on without removal of the knee armor. I don't use the hip armor - just looks aesthetically unappealing when I throw my jeans over them. I hand wash them after every use. They've held up well over the last dozen rides since purchase. I recommend them. Thanks - B

What are the main differences between this product (Dianese D-Core underpants) and the Dianese Norsorex underpant? It seems that this offers the same protection with better airflow. Anything I'm missing or is this basically a summer version of the Norsorex?
Ben R on Mar 30, 2016
I'm 6'4" and 240 pounds so sizing is always an issue for me, especially length. Would be nice if the knee armor actually covered my knees. How do these pants do for length?
Eric C on Apr 12, 2016
It says abrasion resistance, will this protect my skin from road rash in parts other than knees an hips? So no need for kevlar jeans?
Abel M on Mar 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Found on the Youtube Video for this product:

Q: Could I wear these under normal jeans and have sufficient abrasion resistance if I took a spill??

A: No. Even though the D-Core Armor Pants have impact armor, that only helps with an initial impact. They do not offer any true abrasion resistance like technical motorcycle jeans or motorcycle pants. I recommend you take a look at our Riding Jeans Guide for some options. -DrewZilla
I did not see a sizing chart and looking for a pair to put under kevlar jeans. I go 6'2", 200. My normal jean size is 36/36. What size would you recommend?
Douglas D on Jul 14, 2017
What kind of armor is in the knees and hips? How does it compare with molecular armor like d30?
Morgan G on May 29, 2018
would I be fine and protected wearing these with regular jeans?
A C on Mar 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It depends what kind of protection you are looking for.
If you want to protect your skin you should at least consider some riding pair or jeans with Aramine or Kevlar liner.

About the D-Core pants, it only covers knees and hips side so it is not a full protection (I would have loved the put some protection behind too...)

Anyway, I feel protected when I wear these and never ride without them.
I wear these under a Rokker Salvage riding pair of jeans I also bought on Revzilla and they are very comfortable and slim so you cannot tell I have anything under my pair of jeans.

Fortunately I never crashed so I can't tell you how much the do the job. But don't feel anything when reasonably striking your knees with a hammer with these on (don't try this at home XD )
Will these pants keep the back of my thighs from being roasted from the heat of my bike? Apparently, my Ducati Supersport generates less heat than equivalent bikes but I'm about to sew on oven mitts to the back of my Gear2 pants if I don't solve the heat issue. Help!
Julie C on Aug 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They do not keep excess heat out. I ride a 1098s streetfighter and the seat gets excessively hot in traffic from the rear header pipe. The pants do not make a difference in my opinion.
Do these have good impact protection?
