Awesome helmet & design
I love this helmet. The graphics are awesome, one of the best on the market. If you like history, warplane design you can't go wrong with this helmet. Matches my '11 ZX-14 perfectly. I've wanted these graphics on a helmet and bike for years. Ok enough about that. Helmet is light and comfortable. While not as light or quiet as my AGV Stealth, I have few complaints. Face/cheek pads are a little tight,(I got a XL) but I'm sure I just need to break it in. Adaptive shield quickly changes from clear to dark smoke with no issues. No more changing shields between day/night riding. Well made helmet, good airflow. Looks and feels like a $500 helmet but it's half that price. I added pictures of mine below bc for some reason you can't find 360 of helmet anywhere. 1 day of riding and everyone comments on the helmet. Good choice.
Safe riding everyone!

Killer Graphic and Airflow!
I purchased this helmet after seeing it in person and was blown away by the graphic. The pictures here do this helmet no justice, you have to see it in person to appreciate it.

Bell had me sized as a small by the measurements they listed, but if you go by fitted hat size, I am a medium. The medium fits perfectly and I am quite happy.

There is a ton of airflow with this helmet. I went out for a ride yesterday and I had to close all the vents to keep warm (it was 48 degrees with a wind chill). I find even with the vents closed, this helmet is noisy compared to my AGV Veloce GT (then again the AGV is twice the price). I wear ear protection when riding and will with this helmet.

This helmet is really light and easy to wear. It has great visibility and I find it easy to do my chin check when changing lanes. The Transition Lens is PHENOMONAL!!!! It is nice not having to carry a clear shield around with me anymore. It does not take long for it to darken and to transition back to clear again.

Thank you BELL for creating a helmet with killer graphics, transition lens (which every manufacturer should use), light weight and last but not least price!

I have attached some pictures of what the helmet looks like during the day. :-)

Excellent style and quality
I really bought this helmet for the look and the transition lens. The air flow features are decent and the padding is very comfortable. There is a bit of "break in time" needed because at first the helmet fit small, but now after about one month it has formed almost perfectly to my head and hugs it nice and tight from my cheek bones to my forehead. I have gotten many compliments on the look of this helmet and many nods from other motorist while at stop lights. The transition lens is phenomenal and worked instantly, really handy since I usually ride into work after class at 4 pm when there is still sun and back at 9 pm so its nice to have a versatile helmet. I think anyone would be satisfied with this helmet.

Awesome Helmet!
Best helmet I've ever owned. The transition face shield is worth the price of the helmet alone. No carrying extra shields for different conditions. Very comfortable and light weight. Noise level is medium, but I like hearing everything around me. If you want it quieter, buy a Cadillac! The graphics are awesome. It's a piece of art work by itself. Looks like an A-10 Warthog!. Vets always comment on it. The modular communication/Bluetooth port is the coolest. Very fast shipping. had small rattle on the first ride from the top vent. I popped it out, put a small piece of electrical tape on the legs and put it back in, all in less than 2 minutes. Would recommend this helmet to everyone. "Shiny side up!"

Great helmet
I think that I love this helmet the most for shield. The fact that you get the transition visor makes it well worth the money. My only downside to the helmet is the fact that the 10s Sena slot makes helmet noise. However, you get good air flow with this helmet. I would be keen to buy another one when I need a new helmet.

As Sharp As Helmets Come
First, the function. I'm personally partial to Bell helmets and specifically the Qualifier/DLX. This is my third Qualifier and first DLX. All are a tight first fit (one has to be if you expect it to be secure) but quickly form to your noggin after only a couple rides. The cowl and chimney vents move air fairly well through the helmet. The brow vents along with the chin curtain (both part of the DLX package) move the air down your face as opposed to up from the chin. As a glasses wearer, I highly appreciate this feature since up-flow fogs my glasses, especially as the weather starts to cool. Overall, the Qualifier is one of the best helmets available for the price. The DLX package also adds the Transitions face shield which is absolutely indispensable on bright sunny days. Very quick change from almost clear to limo dark in seconds. My only gripe is that at night it never feels quite all the way clear but me having several extra shields, it only takes seconds to swap it for night riding.

Now, the form! This thing (as you can already see) looks absolutely BAF! I hear A-10 Warthog references a lot but from the first time I seen it, it felt P-40 Warhawk all the way. The "shark" mouth, the cowl exhaust, the star and bar, the pin-up devil-girl along with the silver and green paint scheme are WWII warbird staples. Personally, it's the best graphic design of any helmet Revzilla carries. I would say to Bell or who ever puts the DOT seal on the back, the helmet is the "Devil May Care" variant so why in the name of all that's holy would you cover 50% of the pin-up girl and the "Devil May Care" writing with the DOT seal? Move it up an inch! Every person who looks at it asks why that sticker is covering the girl.

All in all, highly recommended!

Great purchase
Great helmet noise reduces when you crouch down and if you wear glasses make sure they are straight back and don't have rubber it will be a tight fit but works .transition lens is great .

will my sena 20s-01 fit in it?
kurt h on Aug 28, 2016
Does this helmet have speaker pocket?
A C on Apr 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it has speaker pockets. I bought the Sena SMH-10 that is made to integrate with this helmet. Installation was easy and it works great. Just be sure to get the one made specifically for this helmet; it snaps right in.
Does this come with the black face shield?
Javier G on Dec 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is the transition lense, so during the bright sunny day it goes totally black. At night goes back to clear.
Does this hemlet include the self dimming visor?
A C on Mar 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes it comes with a transition visor that will dim
Will I be able to wear prescription glasses (not sunglasses) with this helmet?
A C on Jul 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, as long as the temple arms are flat against your head. My expensive Oakley prescription frames have the curved style arms like on sun glasses and I can't wear them. I personally like slim sport-style prescription glasses for riding as they are less likely to break your nose in the even of a "face plant".
what is the difference between this and the Vortex?
Komsan L on Sep 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The vortex and qualifier are very similar but have more amenities on the qualifier side. The graphics are different. Not sure which I like better. Both are cool. Qualifier has a transition shield instead of standard. A quick release mechanism for the shield. Chin curtain. More Sport profile made for a tucked position and cutout for a sena smh10. Oh also more ventilation options. Above a below shield and two top of head vents. I think the price difference makes it worth it. I like my qualifier really quality helmet for a good price point.
I have a Cardo PackTalk. Does anyone have one and used it on this Bell Qualifier DLX?
