The Kriega OS Base and Platform system can mount dry bags as small as 12L or expand to superior touring and camping panniers at 54L. You're free to match different loadouts to your ride scenarios. Each bag is waterproof and can be converted to a shoulder bag with an additional strap (sold separately). There are several advantages to selecting dry bags over hard luggage. First, you cut weight and still get the same durable, waterproof storage you need, all at a more attractive price point. In addition, you can easily re-attach bags like the Kriega OS 18 should you turn the bike over or get into an accident. How The OS Base And OS Platform Works
It can be a pain to outfit your bike for luggage. Saddlebag rails and luggage racks aren't always minimalist or streamlined, plus they might not match your style. The Kriega OS Base and RACK LOOPS mounting system provides a fresh solution to these problems. It is easy to install, but tough enough to handle challenging off-road conditions and long trips. Plus, you can quickly remove the OS Base when you don't need it. (Note: attachment of the OS mount requires drilling two small holes in the rear fender). Durable Hypalon construction, reinforced stitching and aircraft-grade hardware keeps all your gear secure, no matter what. Once attached, simply match bags like the Kriega OS 12 to the mount. Precision straps ensure the gear is mounted as tight as possible. If you need more exhaust clearance, the Kriega OS Platform provides a solid mounting point for bags and RotopaX products. All that's left is to pull out the map and pick a destination!

Here is a quick primer. The Kriega OS 32 is going to be your standard saddlebag size, and remember you'll need two for each side of the OS mount. However, if you don't need that much space, there are smaller options as well. The Kriega OS 18 is a good intermediate option for those that still need some decent cargo space. If you want to pack light and fly, the Kriega OS 12 and Kriega OS 6 are minimalist luggage options. Remember, you can still mount multiple smaller packs like the Kriega OS 6 to your bike for added space. You don't necessarily need a Kriega OS 32 if you want to carry a decent amount of gear.
