There’s a new most expensive motorcycle

Bucherer, a Swiss luxury watch company, built a Harley-Davidson Softail into what’s reportedly the most expensive motorcycle ever. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Yu Suzuki (known for arcade classics OutRun and Space Harrier) also created an off-road racing game called Enduro Racer. Hiding at the end of the game is an unexpectedly deep observation on enduro and life itself, featured in this little writeup by Den of Geek.

Nicky Hayden’s hometown to present statue tribute to his legacy

Owensboro, Kentucky is honoring the late Nicky Hayden with a sculpture and ceremony memorializing his "celebratory lap of Laguna Seca following his Championship-year victory there on July 23, 2006, and his likeness will hold aloft an actual American flag. The work will be unveiled on June 8 at 5:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the Owensboro Convention Center, and Mayor Tom Watson will read a proclamation declaring the following day (June 9, or 6/9), Nicky Hayden Day."

H-D closes public out of annual shareholders’ meeting; registered shareholders only

In a surprise move, Harley-Davidson shut the public out of its annual shareholders' meeting. Only registered shareholders will be admitted to this year's event. Recent union friction might be behind this change in policy.
