awesome boots
to start with, you'll probably want to order one size up from what you would normally wear.

I've been searching for a regular work boot style motorcycle boot. These are the perfect look. I normally wear a 12-12.5 in regular sneakers, but my feet are a little wider than most. So I ordered the biggest size available, 13.

I am immensely pleased with the fit, look, and function of these boots. They are so comfortable to ride in. I just want to wear them all the time.

Awesome job Speed and Strength!

Really Good Boot for the Price!
First off, I am a new rider and this is my first boot that I bought. Like other reviews, there is some coating on the bottom of the boot once you get it out the box, so be careful not to try them on in the house so you don't get that coating on the carpet or floors. The boot is very comfortable! Seems to be well put together to protect the foot and ankle...probably wouldn't depend on it protecting anything if you are going way too fast; but for the average rider/commuter, this is a really good boot. Looks good with jeans as well. I was worried that the toe part of the boot might be a little too bulky or no feeling in it for shifting, but I was very wrong. It works really well with my Ducati Monster. Highly recommend!

Nice boots! Satisfied. Got it to ride my HD V-rod
Got it to ride my HD V-rod, so tried to chose more cruiser boots. Made with quality, looks more expensive IMHO. Very easy to wear on/off.
As all other reviewers been said - immediately out of the box wash THE SOLES with any common cleaner or soap from your kitchen

Great boot for the money
This is my first pair of riding boots and I wanted to wait about a month to give a good assessment. I am a daily rider, commuting to work. I have to change clothes when I get to work and wanted something which would be easy on and off to reduce time changing. Most slip on boots or boots with zippers I found at bike shops in town were either too big around the ankle to feel stable in a crash or were too uncomfortable off the bike.
I wanted something I could wear to stop at the store on the way home home and not feel uncomfortable. This boot fit my needs perfectly, and for a great price. I am able to tighten down the laces and still unzip for easy on/off. With both zippers open I don't even need my hands to slide my feet in or out.
My commute is on the highway with speeds at 70+. I have worn these boots in 40 and 80 degree temperatures. Just enough airflow to feel comfortable at high temps yet not freezing at 40. I wear slightly thicker socks at low temps and feel just fine. I am confident these boots will be comfortable in slightly higher temps, but won't know until summer hits.
I have worn these boots walking around for a couple of hours around town. Not the most comfortable walking shoe, but it does give just enough to not feel big and clunky.
There are only 3 issues I have had. The first is, i would have liked a bit more around the ankle. It does feel pretty solid throughout and I know with the zipper it would be difficult to add padding here. Protection is good for the price. The second is the back of the sole. The heel has a good bit more material than the rest of the sole. When riding the highway pegs it has caught the brake a couple of times. I just know to be careful on placement. The third is when I ride in the rain. The boots keep my feet fairly dry, but afterward the zippers become difficult to move until they completely dry. Once dry, zippers are free moving again.

Awesome shoe but be careful with first ride
As other reviews mention this shoe is super awesome but has a very slick bottom right out of the box. I followed advice from others and washed the bottom with dish soap and water but that made very little difference. It got so bad during the first ride that I lost footing off the pegs several times and almost slipped at a stop sign. Having had enough, I drove around to find a gravel road and rubbed the bottom for a few minutes for each foot. The small particles in the dry gravel bonded with the slick bottom and totally got rid of the slick feel. After this little exercise, this shoe was unbelievable! Very comfortable, great fit and classic styling. The dual zipper entry and exit means you don't waste precious ride time fiddling with laces. This is almost as comfortable on the bike as it is off the bike, right at home at my favorite watering hole as it is on country ride.

This is my favorite moto shoe by far. If you like the styling and the price is right don't think twice before you order. I love my pair. Oh, also use the fit chart on the website to make sure you are ordering the right size. I measured my feet lenght to ensure a good fit by the way.

Good basic boot.
Step 1: immediately after removing from box, scrub the slippery stuff off the soles. There's some kind of polish or mold release compound or something hella slippery on the soles. On my first ride I almost did a split. Got home and scrubbed the sole with light detergent and a scotchbrite. Problem solved.
I'm terribly fond of the boots though. I wanted a basic work/combat kind of boot I could wear around town so I don't have to wear track boots everywhere. These fit the bill nicely.
There's not much for protection. The only moto- specific feature on them is the medial distal lace cover, which actually does keep my shifter off the laces. The dual zips make taking them on and off a breeze. The leather is of a nice quality and they seem well constructed. The soles flex just enough that I can feel my foot pegs. They didn't need much breaking in. I took a 3 hour ride the day after receiving them and had no issues with comfort.
As far as sizing goes I typically wear a 9.5 but the 9 fits me perfectly. I measured my foot as described in the fit chart and I was surprised by how well they fit.

Great Fitting and Durable Boot but CAUTION-Slick Soles!
Brand new bike and went for my first ride with my new boots. I thought the dealer used Armour All on my foot pegs! Out of the box, the soles are like they are sprayed with silicone or something. BE SURE TO CLEAN THE SOLES with household cleaner to get that finish off.

Other than that, I wear a size 9.5 and opted for a size 10. With a pair of thick socks, and tightening the laces, the fit was perfect! Super easy to get on and off with the double zippered sides.

Toe of the boot is flexible enough to feel the shifter and the heel is thick enough for secure foot placement on the pegs (after you get the slick stuff off)

Super Quality
I evaluated three pair of boots in deciding on my purchase. The speed and strength boots had the most gorgeous quality leather. Workmanship was also top-notch. The Dual zipper design was a real Plus for getting them on and off. They're also, given their bulk and weight, pretty darn comfortable. Aesthetically I thought they were pretty clunky looking. The large double covered toes made them look like military issue. Combined with their substantial soles and heels they were borderline Herman Munster issue. I think I'd like them if I was riding a full-dress HD, but my style is a bit more sporting and they were a little heavy duty for my tastes.

Great boots for the price
The dual zipper system these boots have make putting them on and taking them off effortless. They were really stiff out of the box, which is expected, but they were broken in just by wearing them around the house for a few days. Now I wear them everywhere. Whether I am riding or not.

Best Motorcycle Boot Ever
These boots are so comfortable you don't know you have boots on. Easy on and off. I have had plenty of boots in my 35 years of riding and this is the only boot for me. I read reviews where people have been complaining about being slippery when you get them, just wash the sole and heel with dish soup and rough up on ground as you walk, takes a whole 2 minutes and your good to go. There is absolutely no break in with these boots, just adjust the laces to where your comfort is. You will love these boots. Revzilla you are the best, fastest shipping i ever had.
