Just what I was looking for!
The shoe is awesome. Typically ride with sport bike boots. Needed something for my daily commute. These fit the bill, comfy, good looking, and great quality. I wear them all day, and most don't know I'm wearing riding shoes. A little warm in summer heat, but I unzip when at my desk. True to size, and I'm picky when it comes to my toes in riding boots. The toe is solid, heel is too. Has a plastic heel guard to help protect. Solid shank feel for the sole, and bends for walking around. The zipper is rad, I laced them up once, and done. I like looking stylish as well, so they also look great with my riding jeans. I went with the gray looking ones, and boom they rock. Soooooooooooo for comfort, style, protection, and just an all around I love this shoe... would highly recommend, and trust me when I tell ya. It was hard for me to spend that kinda money on shoes for riding, but I had to review them to let you know they are money well spent! "KEEP THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN"

Great Boots!
Just purchased this boots and very happy with the quality and looks! I have the Dainese Street Biker Air, and I love both of them. However, the Forma Hyper shoes is much more comfortable for long time wear and better protection as well!

Fitting is perfect, the front runs just a tiny bit wider than the Dainese.

Great Shoes!
I had some requirements that almost no boots out there met, but these pass with flying colors. I am a commuter and traveler and wanted a pair of riding boots that do it all. I wear a 45 European in most shoes, but the 44 in these fit perfect.

- Waterproof, but breathable.
- Look good with casual business attire
- Zippered for quick on/off when taking off over pants.
- Comfortable enough to wear all day.
- CE Rated
- Durable and well made

Thank you Forma for creating this jack of all trades.

Awesome riding shoes!
I stupidly resisted using motorcycle boots, I own a couple, including some Dainese riding boots. None of them were particularly suited in my opinion to the way I ride. I couldn't feel the shifter and rear braking was always very awkward. Enter the Forma Hyper Shoes, they were recommended to me by a friend who takes his riding gear seriously. He was very on point with this. They provide protection, while still looking like sneakers and enough mobility that I'm not missing every other gear shift and pathetically over-revving my engine on accident. I've worn them all day long. They do start getting a little tight but nothing that unzipping the side won't fix. I cannot praise these shoes enough.

Money well spent
Received and ridden in these shoes today. After putting these shoes on, one can tell that they are sturdy and made of high quality materials. The rubber at bottom seems made for anti-slip. Heel adds height to inseam which is a plus but is not crazy high for a boot. Great for casual in and out of riding. Waterproof aspect, I have not tested yet but should be reliable as other reviewers say.

Air ventilation, not good with the zipper closed (nonperforated material, but expected for waterproof) but compensated with option of opening up zipper for great air flow.

Fit: I usually wear size 9-10s for casual shoes, so got a 9 but was way too long and too wide. Don't trust the U.S. size only go by your foot length and other measurements. Revzilla notes to make the length 3/4 inch longer than foot. I did so: my foot is 9.75 inches. Went with a 10.6 inch shoe (Size 7, very very off) But fit was perfect. Shoe fits snug but no pressure points (toes don't mush against toebox or sides of shoe. Walking is very comfortable (sole has good feel).

I plan to use this shoe for a very long time for street and cruising.

I'm diggin' these!
It's kind of rare that I write a review, but I think these need a review on first impression. I ordered it yesterday and it came today. (Revzilla got you covered with the quick shipping)
So far, first impressions are very favorable. The look GOOD! That is not the most important aspect but it is important (to me). These boots have a NICE grain of leather and styling is better than basic "chucks". They are euro but not over the top. The look like a nice pair of sneakers.
They seem comfortable. They are large. I usually wear a size 44 (9 1/2 - 10 US) but I followed the advice given and got 43. I have more than enough room and the shoes are slightly wide. (No crunched, cramped toes)
I do NOT think these will breathe well at all. They are made of a thick leather and they have a waterproof liner so...breathability is not something I'm looking to find with these shoes.
The sole is nice. Better than I expected. It's stiffer than I thought it would be and it is anti slip. Stiff but still walkable. Don't expect these to be as comfortable as running shoes but much more comfortable than A'stars SMX or any true riding boot.

Safety
The toe box is nicely reinforced. Better than I expected and better than the video review would have you believe. The heel cockpit is softer than I would have liked but it is better than sneakers. It's not bad at all but you would think it would be more substantial given the TPU around the heel.
The ankle protection is decent. Not great, not bad. There is a hard"ish" disk both for inside and outside ankle bone. It's not as hard or solid as I thought it would be but it's decent. The disks plus the padding around the ankle should be more than sufficient.
The boots are taller than sneakers (good thing).
The zipper is great! Lace em up, get em snug as you want them to be and forget it. Use the zipper to get em on and off.

I have other riding shoes and boots. Comparing these to my other riding shoes, so far, these crush the others.
I have the Flying M16 waterproof shoes and I really like them. They are great shoes especially at their price point. The Formas are much better in quality.
I have the street and steel Kickstarters. They are OK. The formas stomp all over them in style, durability and protection.

I have not ridden in these boots yet and like I said, I got them today.
What I have said are my first initial impressions.
I will update this review when I have some time, wear and miles on these boots.

Stay tuned.

Excellent shoes!
I don't know how more people haven't bought these and reviewed them, but I guess it's just a best kept secret here. I bought the Anthracite (gray) color. There will be marks from the shifter lever, but I don't mind it as it gives them some character. Everyone is amazed that these are CE rated shoes, they all think I'm wearing regular sneakers (and compliment them as if they were regular shoes). They're very comfortable to walk around in, I often forget to take them off when at home because I don't notice. The air flow is average as expected with a full leather shoe. During the hotter months, I can tell my feet may get a little warm, but I'm used to that with my line of work anyway so it doesn't bother me. If you're looking for a riding shoe, this is definitely it. I wear a 9 in Nikes, ordered a 42 in these.

I wanted a riding shoe without a raised heel, great traction, moderate protection for cruising and commuting, all day comfort, easy to put on (the side zipper is awesome) and something that blended in when off the bike. This one met all my requirements perfectly.

The one item I might like to see worked in is some protection for the shift area, but then it might spoil the otherwise great look.

I would def recommend and buy again, even tho the price is a bit high

1K Miles, so far, so good
Bought these shoes in size 43, fit perfect on my U.S. size 9.5 feet. Comfortable immediately. Wore them to work for a couple of days and then on a 1000 mile bike weekend. Rained ALOT on this trip. Feet stayed dry and comfortable. Really please so far. Not sure about protection during a wreck. Hope I don't find out. Seem like they would be okay though for a shoe not race/adventure designed.

Slick Rick outta the box
Outta the box these shoes feel just like what I was looking for...the best blend of casual shoe and riding boot.

I ride vintage and touring, '76 CB750 and '03 Yamaha FZ1 - With these on and my motorcycle jeans, they look great and feel like enough protection for both riding styles. And both bike styles.

What I like about them right away is the noticeable quality. Stitches feel tight, sole is noticably more ridged giving a good spring in the step, heel cup is strong, toe is more protected, ankle protection is more than I accpected (rigid cups lateral and medial instead of hard foam) and the high ankle feels supportive if I had to throw a foot down quickly.
Toe flex feels solid but agile for shifting, I don't feel it will be bulky for that either.

The Drytekliner adds noticeable thickness to the shoe but so far doesn't distract. The zipper feels a little thin IMO, but I only zipped them up once. I have not riden in them yet, but walking around the house and moving around in them, they feel protective and solid while not overbearing. Very happy so far.

*I haven't riden in them yet*
