Stylmartin Ace Boots
With a style that can hang with any designer boot on the street and an Italian build quality durable enough for years of riding use, the Stylmartin Ace Boots are holding all the cards. Medial and lateral malleolus protection at the ankle is hidden below the leather outer to avoid detection. To further enhance their casual appearance and obscure their moto purpose, the Stylmartin Ace Boots use a removable shift protector instead of a telltale stitched shift area reinforcement on the forefoot.
Note: We find the Ace Boots run large and recommend you go down 1 size from what you normally wear.
- Natural full grain leather upper
- PU internal malleolus protection on medial and lateral
- Removable elastic shift protector
- Zipper and lace closures
- Anatomic, anti-bacterial, removable footbed
- Oil-proof, anti-static, anti-slip rubber sole

Reviews & Questions
My only gripe (like with other stylemartin boots) is they come with paper thin inserts. No way in the world will you want to ride anywhere with those let alone walk around office. So while ppl mark these as (slightly) large, once you put in a real set of inserts they fit average.
Compared to other boots in this price range, these have a classic look that don't look bulky and overdone. It's somewhat disappointing these are not CE certified but there is ample protection for the heel, toe, and ankles in my opinion for everyday riding.
The price point is middle of the road compared to other boots in this price range. The boots are actually made in Slovakia and not Italy which is somewhat disappointing.
Things to be desired - the inserts as someone else mentioned are a little thin, and I will probably end up replacing these with something that offers a bit more comfort for longer rides and walks/hikes. The side zipper can get caught and can be a pain to move up and down but as I've broken them in this seems to be less of an issue.
Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. If you are a speed demon looking for ultimate protection these are not the boot for you. If you are like me and enjoy a spirited ride with friends as well as camping trips and adventure I think these are the perfect boot to have. They look great out of the box and will only look better as they age.
*They are not CE rated. I think that's because the toe and heel box have fairly small celastic type reinforcement that is not PU. PU material does protect your ankles, but still no CE rating. (Maybe because the zipper breaks up one CE plate in one ankle?)
*Sizes run large. I wear a 9.5 in Redwing USA boots. A 10.5 in Nike running shoes. I had to order a 9, or 43, to get the correct size in these boots.
*The toe is a bit more cowboy boot like than pictures suggest. It's not pointy, but not round either. Somewhere in between. I expected a more rounded toe.
*The profile of the boot is a little on the high side. If you ride a cruiser, and like your shifter low, you might want to take these out to the garage without wearing them and make sure you can get them under your shifter.
I'm considering returning the boots. I expected them to be CE rated and I can get that in other boots for the same price, or less. I also wasn't thrilled about the somewhat pointy toe and the profile of the boot for my particular shifter set up.
Your mileage may vary. I'd love to be able to actually ride in them to give them the real test. But that's a no no if you want to return the boots. So I'll think about it over the next few days. Thank goodness for Revzilla's great return policy. They really respect the rider as long as the rider respects the return.
I don't want to be negative, just honest. The leather is very nice, supple. If you live in a cooler climate, they are definitely warm enough with the calfskin leather inside. Workmanship looks up to par, or better than other boots in this category. And the zipper is very handy.
The PU in the ankle does seem to rub against my bone a bit there, just trying them on in the house. And they are not super comfy right out of the box, just trying them on in the house. But that's to be expected in a pair of good leather boots. I'm sure they would break in fairly quickly.

They arrived from Revzilla in a nice box that was well packaged. The boots were in perfect shape upon arrival and the laces were already on the boots although they were completely uneven so I had to unlace them and do it properly. The boots themselves fit to size perfectly I am a size 11 with a slightly wide and flat foot and they fit just fine. The leather is top quality and looks like it will develop a very nice natural patina. It's also a pretty soft leather for motorcycle boots but it does have the ankle armor, stiff toe and heel box so it seems to offer very good protection (though they are not CE rated). They offer very good movement when wearing them around which is what I was looking for. The side zipper is also a major plus. I absolutely hate having to tie boots every time I put them on, especially when they are as high as these are so having the zipper to be able to just unzip and zip them back up is great. It's also not noticeable at all while wearing them. The laces they came with are too long, especially for motorcycle boots and I fear they will get caught on the peg one day so I plan to replace them with shorter ones. Also the insoles that came with the boots are completely useless. They are flat and provide no support or cushion. I have already replaced them with SoftSole Airr Orthopedics which I pretty much do with all my shoes and they feel great. The included shift pad also fits very nicely on the boot and provides adequate coverage for the shifting area of the toe. I still don't think it's necessary and I did find that the elastic strap limited traction when stopped on the bike so I don't plan on using it much. Overall the boots are excellent and I highly recommend them, though they are pretty pricey they seem like they will last a REALLY long time.

I decided to watch the video & read about it from Revzilla. I was informed by Anthony on the video that they run large & to buy the next size up. I was thrilled but when I read some of the feedbacks some said they were actually true to size & to ignore the video. I was in a quandary but decided to have faith in Anthony.
Lucky for me he was right & they fit perfect. They are very comfortable & have worn them on and off the bike & I have to say these are my favorite boots I have owned. I definitely feel that they have more than enough safety features for just riding around & touring. So, after all that, I would strongly recommend the Stylemartin Ace boots if you are looking for this style boot. Ride safe, Stu Rosenberg
