Easy on, Easy Off
I ride to get to work and for fun on the weekends. These bags are great for that. I can easily pop them on, and have enough storage space for my tools, clipboard and files, and extra clothes. On the weekends, when I don't want bulky bags, they come right off in one easy step.

These bags are expandable, and when expanded, they have enough space to store the Shoei GT-Air helmet which is pretty big. The bags are not what I'd call secure... Givi says they're lockable, but I wouldn't even bother. If you think someone might steal something out of the bags, don't leave it in there. I bet someone with a utility knife could slice right into the bags.

Givi also says the zippers are waterproof, but I haven't tested that claim yet.

Givi adds function to sport bikes
I am very pleased with the quality of these cases. The mounting brackets and supports (sold separately, custom fit for your motorcycle) fit perfectly, I was surprised to be able to fit a full-face modular helmet, using the 2-inch expandable feature of this soft case. I added mini-Master locks to the luggage zippers (designed for such locks) to give the cases that extra security when stopping downtown.

Support straps hidden in the expandable fold latch on to hooks on the top of the case, giving just a bit more support if you pack these cases full. And I did! They are big enough for lots of stuff that would fill up a backpack, yet small and stylish enough to not take away from the look of a sport bike. Best upgrade to make my Yamaha FZ6R a practical everyday commuter ride!

great low budget option for the CBR500
While you're definitely not getting the features of hard case panniers, these are a solid option for a rider on a budget. I love collecting all sorts of bags/packs but spending lots of money on something that simply holds other stuff can make me feel foolish. While still not 'cheap', these are really well made, very sexy side bags. Definitely worth the price. I like the expansion zipper, and inner straps. Bags come with combo locks for securing zipper. Unfortunately, doesn't fit a Nolan 91 modular helmet (L).

So far so good
Bought these bags for a trip recently and I am very happy with them. Big enough to pack for a 3-day trip without any issues, and I didn't even have to expand it (the bags can be expanded to a larger size than pictured on line). I like the exterior fit and finish - classy. Cannot comment on longevity since I just got them. Inside, the bags are equipped with tie-downs like Samsonite luggages (nice touch). They seem well built and appear to be able to withstand long life.

Best Option among Limited Street Triple Choices
You don't have a lot of baggage choices for the street triple. So it goes. Having weighed my options and tried a few, I feel like these are the best.

Pros:
- Good volume
- Lockable
- Easy to carry around
- Feel very stable on the bike

Cons:
- Not the cheapest choice
- I don't know how secure the locks would be to a determined thief
- The waterproof liners are a bit of a pain.

All in all, I would recommend this. Presented the same options, I would buy again.

Ok hybrid bag
I knew what I was getting into before I bought these, so I can't say that I'm disappointed. They seem to be well made: the zippers move really well and the fit/finish is pretty nice. Like the other reviewers stated, don't expect any kind of security with what you put inside the bags given that they could be cut open easily with a pocket knife. It's kind of funny... Givi puts a rigid keyed lock on the bag so it cannot be detached from the rack. The message here is that their bags are important, but not your contents!

These bags look excellent on my bike, so if you're worried that adding bags to your bike will make it look less cool, you might be surprised by these.
