A very well thought out backpack
The features are as useful as advertised. What really works for this backpack however, is the simple idea of putting all the zippers on the back panel - once you're wearing it, nothing is exposed. Capacity is excellent; there really is a limit to how big a pack you want on your back while riding, and this is more or less at that limit. It's aerodynamically superior to the several streamlined Alpinestars packs I've used over the years, which all have leaked from rainstorms at some point or another, and the curved zippers were a pain in the butt from day one. Not so with this pack. The helmet strap isn't the most elegant solution, but other than exposing your lid to banging into things, it's actually nicer to have it out, rather than turning your backpack into one that is nine months pregnant, as is the case with packs that expand to hold a helmet.

The only ding I gave this rating was for the price; they're made by Ogio and having it branded as Dainese adds to the price. But being a fanboi carries a pricetag I guess!

Spend the coin and don't look back.
Great pack. Originally bought the Mach 5. I didn't like the face shield protector not being removable, and I won't ever expand the pack, so I returned it. The Dainese pack is better on several fronts. #1. It comes with a rain cover. #2 It comes with a custom hanger to keep it off the ground to prevent getting scratched up. #3. It just looks better in my opinion. #4. It's like you're not even wearing it, no matter how fast or slow. Hope this helps. Ride safe!

Exactly as advertised
The video on this backpack is exactly what you're getting. It's excellent and videos or photos don't do it justice. It seriously looks mean in person.

Good backpack, I bought the 5 instead for cheaper and no logo that you are paying for.....
The logo is the only thing you are paying for with this bag. if you go with just the ogio mach 5 you get more and still cheaper than paying for the logo.

Why did you choose this?
RevZilla Store
This bag is absolutely awesome. It does not get in a way, it actually makes my more casual jackets flop less in the wind. It is perfectly stable at any speed even on a super sport. Highly recommend.

I believe this to be the best sport motorcyclist backpack on the market today. Not only is it aerodynamic, because there are no zippers on the exterior, it is highly weatherproof as well as essentially impossible to leave a zipper open and have objects go flying out.

Tell me about the helmet carry strap?
A shopper on Jun 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: First let me tell you that the backpack itself is a pice of art.
Specifically talking about the helmet strap, it makes his job to avoid you from carrying it but if you are trying to walk it will be constantly hitting your elbow and forearm. I personally don't use it since I take good care of my helmets and visors and they might hit something while are brewing carrier there. Hope it works for you. Regards.
What is the difference between D-Mach and Mach-3, OGIO?
Raja Ram M on Apr 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Just the Dainese branding really. You're paying extra for the look. I thought it was worth a few more bucks, but that's up you in the end amico. Take care. ;)
