Nice look but not the quality i expected from AStars
I commute daily approximately 70 miles on a cruiser or rocket. i purchased this pack three months ago and im now force to look for a new pack. Backpack looks good but has degraded quickly with moderate use. I like the size of the pack for carrying work stuff back and forth but helmet bag broke with in a weeks worth of use. about a month after that, belly strap broke leaving only one side attached. One of the chest straps came off not too long after that (nearly impossible to put back on). overall horrible quality in my opinion and I would not recommend to any of my friends. I'm very let down by this Alpine Stars pack.

Poor QA
Got my second bag, the first was returned. Guess what, the second bag has the same exact problem. The helmet hook pulls right out. It is not stitch into the bag. I'm ordering my third this weekend. Last chance.

Awesome bag
I got this bag as a gift and have loved it ever since. It's incredibly aerodynamic, stylish, and the size is perfect. I love being able to expand and collapse it as needed. The straps on the waist are great as well as the chest. I know some hate that, as well as the fact that the waist one isn't removable, but I love them. Plus, the pockets on the waist strap are perfect for keys, ids, etc without having to take the whole bag off.

Also, the rain cover is super nice in case of rain emergencies, and the helmet carrying system is fantastic., I haven't used it out yet, but I know when I do it is easy to use after testing it when I first got the bag.

I can fit a lot in this bag even before expanded. Change or two of clothes, shoes, flip flops, belts, etc, and even more once expanded.

I know a lot of people write negatively about the durability, but I have not had the same experience. I can say that I don't use the pockets inside nearly as often as others, but the use that I have had has been great. Everything is fine and nothing is coming undone/apart.

The carve out on the back for air works wonderfully. That combined with the chest/waist straps makes this bag super comfortable. I honestly forget I'm wearing it, even at high speeds.

I also love the fact that you can insert a back protector into this bag as an upgrade option.

Honestly, I can't say anything about this bag. It does exactly what I want and then some.

Also, Revzilla is wonderful to work with and incredibly fast. They will also talk to you for however long to answer any and all product/riding questions you might have like I did.

Highly recommend them and this product.

Great Backpack
I have used this backpack for commuting and on a couple trip. It sits very securely on my back with leathers or my textile jacket. It does a good job of staying out of the wind at higher speeds and remains comfortable. I like the low profile shoulder straps but really miss the quick release function. The back protector, helmet, laptop, tablet, glasses, hydration and other compartments all function really well. Have not had a chance to test the rain fly. The hydrating pack fits best hanging into the laptop compartment so having both might be cumbersome. My only complains so far is that the zipper for the main compartment hangs up where the reflective trim meets it near the top on both sides.

Alpinestars Tech Aero 2015
This is a fantastic backpack if you are a sport bike rider. It's not overly huge but not small either. It hugs you really well and you almost forget it's there. The pack breathes well on your back but yet doesn't allow the backpack to act as a parachute (so to speak) You never feel it tug on you. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality backpack. It's a touch on the expensive side, but hey, it's Alpinestars. :)

BUY THIS BACKPACK... NO WAIT.... IT"S MINE!!!!!
this is the coolest backpack I have ever had and I will ride with nothing else. Add a camelback? Road Trip heaven. and I do this stuff on sport bikes. The bag expands, has pockets layered on top of multiple zippered compartments, some side-by-side, fanny-pack style seatbelt waist strap, has 2 pouches, one on each side. perfect for a stun gun(I call it a bum-gun) ever been rushed on by angry people/persons while on your bike?. . how about a just in case knife, cell phone pocket for ease of access(I do jacket for phone as it has survived in falls), wallet and insurance for a ticket(lol). goggle pouch is secondary pouch on top, waterproof liner actually works in the rain. Helmet pouch is cool though bulgy if you actually stick your helmet in it, but another pocket. This thing rocks.

My favorite backpack
Great backpack, very pricey, however I feel very safe and secure with it on. I use it constantly, I commute every day to and from work on my CBR and it holds all my work stuff and reduces drag. Looks fantastic also.

No issues so far
The reason I got this backpack was because when I'm in my tucked position, the backpack does not push against my helmet behind my neck. All the other backpacks that I have tried kept pushing on my helmet and was super uncomfortable.

The only thing I don't like about this is the small front pocket at the top, I tend to use that the most for small things, and it's small.... I wish there was perhaps another pocket? But this is minimal complaint.

I haven't had any issues of where the helmet straps fell off, though I do think about it every time I use it to strap my helmet. I use this backpack for when I have class.

This backpack has done me well. You can unzip the back and it will hold a lot of things when you need it. :) One thing about this is that when you un buckle the hip straps, they start banging on everything if it's not buckled in, otherwise, I still like it very much!

Overall a great pack
This is a well-made, easy to wear pack. The only drawback is that there is only one main compartment, and I need 2 compartments to separate textbooks and smaller items like snacks and pens/pencils. Otherwise, it's light and very workable.

Style with Functionality
I primarily bought this backpack to commute to school. It feels fantastic on my back even going hwy speeds. I wear a Dianese D1 jacket and it almost feels like the backpack and the jacket become one piece while riding. Air flow is very nice under the pack. It has a fair amount of pockets but not too many to become a nuisance trying to find something if I forgot which pocket I put it in. Fits my 15" laptop nicely and I have plenty of room for my books and other items. Sleek and Stylish backpack with all the necessary compartments to be very functional. Very happy with my purchase. Good Job Alpinestars.
