For the motorcycling members of the 1% who don't feel well put together if their wristwatch clashes with their motorcycle, Triumph and Brietling are offering a new limited-edition Speed Triple and matching watch.
Triumph is teaming up with the Swiss luxury watchmaker and producing 270 of these Speed Triple 1200 RR Breitling Limited Edition models. Matching watch sold separately.

You'll pay a little more than $5,000 extra, in U.S. prices, for the exclusivity and some other distinguishing touches. This special Speedy naturally has premium paint with hand-painted gold detailing. You get a leather seat, an Akrapovič exhaust, Breitling badges on the tank and the rear wheel, which is prominent, thanks to the Speed Triple's signature single-sided swingarm. And of course there's a number plate to indicate your status as one of 270 owners worldwide.

Other than those touches, the Speed Triple is mechanically the same as its non-limited sibling, which we reported on in both a story and a video when it was introduced in 2022. Then there was also the previous limited-edition version of the RR, that one paying tribute to James Bond movies. As the highest expression of the Speed Triple line, the 1200 RR gets all the best parts, from the semi-active electronic Öhlins suspension to the Brembo brakes and a full suite of electronic rider aids.
The U.S. price for the Brietling Speedy is $25,995 and you can order a Chronomat B01 42 Triumph watch with a matching serial number for an additional $10,900. The watch features some trick parts, as well, from its titanium case to the 18-karat gold bits.

Having personally owned a Speed Triple for 26 years, I definitely have a soft spot for the model. But considering that I haven't worn a wristwatch in a couple of decades and my battle-scarred, high-mileage, outdated Speedy is now the farthest thing from an exclusive bauble, maybe I'm not 1200 RR Breitling Limited Edition material. If you have the style and cash to pull it off and you want one, you'll have to talk to your Triumph dealer to see if you can get one of the 270 available worldwide.
