Abus Platinum 34 Chain Lock
Links are super solid, the mechanism on the lock is really smooth and this thing makes me feel better now that it is on my bike. The default length is perfect if you can get right next to something solid, it's not so long that you can loop it around from a distance (another security plus)

How do you review a chain lock? It's been 2 months and I still have my bike, which means that it's either won every battle or has never seen combat.
So I guess I can't really comment on performance.
What I can comment on is this. It's the most badass chain and lock in the garage where I park my bike (and 2 dozen others park theirs).
Huge padlock with guards around all the vulnerable parts would clearly be tough to break, pick or drill.
Big heavy chain that was obviously not cut off a giant spool by a local hardware store suggests to a criminal with a bolt cutter that maybe that other bike over there would be an easier target.
So an incompetent criminal certainly won't get my bike. And a competent criminal will decide that mine will be the most difficult bike in the garage to steal and turn his attention elsewhere.
55 inches turned out to be too short to reach the railing in my parking garage. I had to return it and order the longer chain, which is just long enough!
