HelmetLok II Helmet Lock
I bought this for my Harley Davidson Sportster and was immediately impressed until I left it clipped on the frame for a long ride and it broke. Apparently the buttons you push to open the lock popped out, maybe from the vibration of the bike, I'm not sure. I had to get a bolt cutter just to remove the lock from my frame. This might be a good product if you leave it in your pocket or saddle bag, but whatever you do, don't leave it bolted to the frame if you ride a harley.

Easily locks helmet to handlebar
My bike doesn't have an integrated helmet lock and I didn't like the ones that mount to a bar. I also didn't want to carry another key.
This helmet lock is great. It's basically a carabiner with a combination lock built in. It's small enough to slip in a pocket of my tank bag and but large enough to go around my handlebar to hang my helmet. The body is coated with a very grippy rubber, so it won't scratch anything, and it's easy to set your own 4-digit code.

The setup of the lock was a little confusingat first, but I figured it out and its really nice! I just leave it hooked on the passenger peg support strut so its there when I need it. It's bigger than I thought it would be and is made really well. Saves a lot of trouble carrying around your helmet!

Lightweight, easy to use, feels secure
Lightweight and easy to transport. A bit too large to fit into a pants pocket depending on how tight you like your jeans, lol. Easily fits through helmet D-rings. However, my second helmet uses a ratchet to secure the straps, and the lock doesn't fit through that opening. It's got a peak visor, though, so I'm able to secure the lock through one of the visor's vents.

Easy to use and locks anywhere
I picked up this helmet lock because I didn't like to leave my helmet just sitting on my mirror, connected to the helmet lock under the seat or using a license plate lock kit. I am able to lock it right to the handlebar or to the rear seat handle so easily! It keeps it high on the bike and away from dust that gets kicked up if there are people driving or riding nearby. It's easy to set the combination and is very lightweight. I'd recommend this product!

Adaptable helmet attachment
I prefer this locking carabiner to frame mount style helmet locks, as I find it is significantly more adaptable. The body is covered in a thin layer of foam rubber to prevent scratching or denting, and it will ride quietly if you find a sufficiently large location to mount it that it can't move around much. When you want to lock something to your bike frame it provides a great deal of space, for instance you can lock two helmets to the same bike using this one lock. It's big enough to lock both your helmet and jacket from the jacket's hang loop.
The carabiner's thick enough to require some beefy bolt cutters to defeat. No lock is impervious, but this one will secure the things you lock with it against most attacks.

Fun and Effective...
Glad the combo programming was simple and the carabiner is sturdy and wrapped with a protective layer. Great for more than just locking a helmet. Getting items customized with metal grommet hole-punch also allows Helmet Lock to keep items secured together!
