Motorcycle Lighting

The further off the grid you want to go, the more important it is that you bring your own juice. Light up the trail, the road, or the whole damn desert. For a simple upgrade, start by increasing your motorcycle’s current headlight output with a replacement halogen or LED headlight bulb. If you still need more light, add a set of auxiliary driving lights / passing lamps. If there are any dim spots in the beam your motorcycle casts down the road, you can target specific areas with spot lights. To support the extra amperage draw from auxiliary or accent lights, RevZilla recommends replacing your stock head light, tail light, brake light and turn signals with low draw LED replacement bulbs - this will buy you some additional bandwidth. If you don’t know how much lighting your OEM alternator can support (your bike’s EEC, or excess electrical capacity), you can usually find specs from the manufacturer, dealer, or better yet, get advice specific to your needs by contacting RevZilla customer service at cs@revzilla.com or (877) 427-9777.
