A good solution to no helmet lock on the bike.
My only issue was finding a suitable place to install the lock. The only frame options put the helmet too close to the hot engine. I ended up installing it on the crash guard. It looks good, it is a simple install, and it works as intended. If you don't have a helmet lock on your bike, this is a good way to go.

Basically worthless
Conceptually, it seemed like a good helmet lock. I was wrong. First it has two features which are worthless: (1) the "one way" screws used to secure the product to the frame or crash bars etc.; (2) style.
Let me explain, the "one way" screws mean that once you have the correct location where the helmet lock is to be installed and you secure it to the bike, you may find that the location is not at all what you wanted. Now you may be stuck unless you drill them out. Suggestion, buy two regular stainless steel screws, so if you decide to change the location you can. Another thought on the "one/two way" screws, what thief is going to spend the time unscrewing screws to steal your helmet. My answer, very few if none. Use the "two way" screws and enjoy your trip.
Second, the lock + key seem unnecessary in my opinion. Refer to my previous comments. Why the lock, when a crescent wrench or a pair of channel locks will twist it off which saves time for the thief. Second, it just doesn't look right from a style perspective which is my own personal opinion.

This is the exact style of lock I wanted, but they did not have these in black, so I settled for chrome. I will have to paint them.

Plan to use removable screws. What size are the screws?
Reed K on Aug 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Reed, I also wanted to use removable screws and I did not want the heads to strip out. I just went to a major hardware store with the supplied screws and matched them up to stainless socket head (aka Allen head) cap screws. They are metric, I applied some Loctite to the threads when installing.
Will it fit Ninja 650ABS 2013? And small or large?
Sumit S on Sep 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: i can't answer that. I put them on my Harley Heritage. I put them on the crash bar. It was the easiest place to access.
Will this fit a 2015 Yamaha R6? if so which side do I need? Thanks!
