One Industries was founded by a small group of riders who shared the same interests, and believed they could elevate motocross gear beyond the next level. Cutting edge motocross jerseys and graphics kits were soon followed by helmets and casual gear, then by mountain bike apparel and helmets - the rest is history. One Industries remains at the forefront of technical innovation as well, with many helmets featuring the MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System). The MIPS layer lives between the helmet liner and the EPS and helmet shell and helps to prevent injury due to a rotational impact by acting as a buffer between the helmet and your head. The MIPS layer moves less violently than the helmet shell, working as a shock absorber to slow or lessen rotational force. We expect One Industries to continue to push the limits of style, design and protection.
