Good unless you have long arms
I'm 6'1", 180 and large fits perfect everywhere but the arms. The sleeves don't provide coverage for the wrists in the riding position (HD Dyna) and the elbow armor is a little high. May not be a deal breaker depending on what kind of fit you are looking for (sleeves slightly rolled, ect).

Shoulder and Spine armor seem to sit in the right spot. Kevlar reinforcements seem to be on the small side.

All the button snaps are stout and the weight of the fabric is just right.

It would be a 5/5 if either the arms were longer.

Wicked Good
Im 5'10" and 230lbs so I usually buy XL for shirts. I watched the video review and saw that Buzz Saw, who is taller than me, was wearing a large and the length was good for him. I took a risk and went with a large fearing that anything bigger would be too long. My choice was bang on. It has a larger boxier fit so my shoulders and arms fit nicely. The jacket doesn't look too boxy in the shoulders or arms with the armour in, which was a welcome surprise. It is actually a little warmer than I expected as it really cuts out the air when riding. A great armored jacket without the armored appearance. The ladies love it and probably even some dudes are loving it too!

Great Spring/Fall Riding-Around-Town Alternative
I recently got this as a gift from my wife and have only ridden wearing it once, but I'm looking forward to winter passing so I can wear it again. As others have noticed, the fit runs a little large, but its sizing is pretty much the same as Levi's denim shirts, if you've ever worn those. To me, I like the extra roominess, as that'll be just that much more comfortable when the temperatures warm up.

This isn't something I'd wear if I was heading out on the highway, as I'm sure that a high speed get off would shred it to pieces; Kevlar reinforcing just isn't competition grade leather. But there are an awful lot of times when I'm just going to be riding around town, and this shirt is perfect--something somewhat protective to wear when you just don't feel like slipping on an armored mesh jacket over a shirt. From the outside, it looks just like an ordinary black denim shirt (a good thing!) The armor underneath isn't uncomfortable, but I plan to replace the back protector with an SAS-TEC one, as I've really come to appreciate their combination of flexibility with strength.

Great deal for a light commuter jacket
So far, I've been quite pleased with the Last Man Standing's performance. I have a short surface-street daily commute and it's been my go-to daily jacket since ordering. It's casual looking and light enough that I can wear it to the coffee shop or store or whatever and not feel like a football player. It has the minimum amount of protection that I would consider wearing for a quick freeway jaunt, but it's not the first piece of gear I pick up when I'm headed out for a longer ride. I dig how shocked people are when they realize that it is an armored piece of motorcycle gear and not just a bulky denim shirt (which is what it looks like). The most surprising part for me was how breathable it actually was. I commute regularly during the hottest part of the day in Phoenix summers. Sure, it gets sweaty sitting at a stoplight, but even squids get sweaty straddling a 260 degree hunk of metal sitting on 140 degree blacktop. When moving, air flows through quite nicely despite the lack of vents and it is about as cool as a black kevlar-lined denim moto jacket can.

Pretty great, for what it is.
If you're buying this with the proper expectation that it's something that'll offer some impact protection (the armor is pretty decent) and be reasonably comfortable and nice looking, you won't be disappointed. I bought it because leather and poly/nylon don't breathe, and this canvas-feeling material at least feels heftier than a typical mesh jacket.

It looks pretty good. It's a slightly boxier fit than I'd like. I'm 5'11", 170lbs and I got the small. Fits well for the most part, but I'd prefer a slimmer cut. That's only a minor complaint though, and I expected it when I ordered. It's my go-to jacket until winter rolls in.

Good looking summer jacket
Don't let it fool you, it looks like a jacket not a shirt. Nice looking tho. Had to take the elbow pads out for the arms to fit and they are very uncomfortable, hard to bend your arms. I am glad I listen to revzilla for the size and just got one size down. Fits great.( I normally wear a lrg and I got a med) I don't know how some of the people in the reviews went two sizes down as if I did it wouldn't fit. ps very costly if your Canadian. Duty 45$ plus 30$ shipping plus exchange rate it turned out to be 300$. wont be doing that ever again

nice heavy shirt
This is a great cross between a shirt and a jacket. Its nice heavy cotton/denim. I explored this shirt for days before I ordered it because there was much talk about sizing. Many reviews say that it's cut big. It is not. I am 6'4", 240lbs and have worn a 3xl in all my motorcycle outer gear. I went with the 3xl in this shirt and am very glad that I did. The cut is short in length, which is fine for a cruiser. The sleeve length and chest are perfect. It fits well. My only complaint, as others have stated, would be that the forearms are a bit snug. Other than that, this is exactly what I was looking for. As for the purchase from REVZILLA, I buy from several online retailers, BUT these guys are unmatched for knowledge, choice, sales, customer service, shipping etc.... Most higher end items have their pricing set by the industry anyway, REVZILLA just make your purchase easier and less questionable. My suggestion is to form an account and read through their site. It's like personally knowing who you are buying from.

Very cool combo of comfort and function
Great shirt for the money. Very comfy good for cooler weather not for hot unless your moving. Will swear your butt off in traffic. Overall shirt is very well done. Armor pockets keep pads in place. The denim material has a stretch spandex like give so it cool if your a little big in middle like me. The zipper and buttons are of quality metal.
I am 6'1 280. I ordered the 3XL. It fits great with a little give when zipped and buttoned up. Sleeve are little long when off bike and walking around with jacket buttoned up. Will need to roll up sleeves if you unbutton sleeves. When riding the extra length helps and the sleeves stay right at your wrists and don't ride up. The shirt pockets are ok but 2 buttons would have been nice. When you put something of girth in them button sided stays down Other flaps up at high speed. Oh well !! The inside lining is permanent and it would have been nice to have it be remove able. Also there is NO INSIDE POCKET AND NO OUTSIDE HAND POCKETS. So you have to scale what u want at the ready to the very minimum. Over all good quick trip jacket ( less than 100 miles ) made well looks cool on and great value. Would get the others Moto armored shirts as well. Good luck and keep the rubber side down.

Very happy with this shirt!
I’ve used this shirt almost daily for the past three months through cool mornings and 80 and 90-degree days and have been very happy with it. I’ve worn it with a tee, a hooded sweatshirt, and with my leather HOG Chapter vest over it – and it looks great (as stylish as a fat old man can be). Aside from a small pocket tab and the S&S name on the buttons, there is no external branding. All zipped and snapped, it breathes well, and you can run with it fully open and be comfortable. Size-wise, I’m short (5’ 7”) with a gut so I went with the Large. This fits really well, though the sleeves are a little long; I fold back the cuffs and I’m good, though the elbow pads are a little low on me, but still cover the right areas. While they call this a shirt, it really is a light jacket and I wish it had an internal pocket or two. Aside from that, very pleased and would recommend it.

Do the sleeves have enough room to roll them up a couple cuffs? (obviously you can't cuff past the armor). But on hot days I was wonder if you could cuff the sleeve once or twice at least?
Sean B on Mar 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have enough room to pull the cuff up two turns before the cuff gets too tight to turn again - winds up about 6"-8" above wrist.
Would this shirt be to hot to wear in humid warm areas, like most of southeast Texas?
Anthony A on Apr 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: July, August, September in the heat of the day- possibly so unless it was a choice between it and a jacket then I would go for the shirt. I'm in the North Texas area and have worn this shirt up thru the 70's as once it gets to be 80+ degrees I'm ready for the feel of just a tee shirt. It's my alternative to a light jacket, it just looks better and light weight. Great for early morning and as the sun goes down on the return ride home, blocks some of the coolness. It has a good look and a casual feel all snapped/zipped up or halfway or flopping around, if that's your thing, as opposed to a jacket that just can't pull that off as well. Hope this helps.
can I put a shirt under this?
Isaak T on Sep 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely. It's almost like a jean jacket. Easy to wear tee shirt, long or short sleeve, or even a button up shirt under it. I like mine a lot.
Does any one wear this under a vest? How is it temperature wise?
A shopper on Apr 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I do wear anything over this. I believe it would be too hot if anything was worn over it on an 80° Summer day. It is the same as wearing a black denim jean jacket.
How is the length figment? To the waist or longer? How will the length fit a 6'1" person
Salvador R on Aug 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: i am 5'10 and i bought a med. fits perfect except with the elbox pads in i cant bend my arms. (so i took them out) the waist lengh is perfect as well. doesnt ride up when sitting. and not to long when standing. It goes just past my jean pocket opening.
How is the length? To the waist or will it fit a bit longer?
A shopper on Aug 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Length is very similar to a button up shirt. I'm 6 foot athletic build, and a MD fit me perfect. Long enough in the back to sit nice and not leave anything exposed (also has straps you can attach to your belt loops to secure down solid if needed).
does this shirt run large? Buzz saw has a 46 inch chest and is wearing a large which is sized as 42 to 44
A shopper on Aug 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This DOES run large. I normally wear a Medium in most shirts and jackets. I'm 5'10, 162 lbs and have a 40in chest. I bought the Small and it fits perfect.
Also I have to say, this is a great shirt, just perfect when you want a more casual look on the bike.
Does anyone use this shirt under a leather vest? How is it temperature wise?
Jeremy I on Apr 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have worn a leather vest with this shirt. Depending on the type of vest, I have gone down to 65 degrees with a long sleeve t-shirt underneath. Could probably go down to sixty with an insulated undergarment. If it gets above 75 or 80 degrees the vest will make this shirt too hot. You can wear the shirt by itself in those temps and be fine.
I'm 6'1'' 240 with a 50 '' chest should I go with the XL ?
A C on Feb 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I'm 5'-11" 210 with a 46" chest and the LG fits me pretty close to perfect. I'm not sure as to how the sizing goes up from the LG but Revzilla has a great return policy for those items that don't fit on the first try.
has anyone replaced their armor with d3o?
A C on Dec 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No I have not, still using the armor that came with the shirt
