Stylish jacket for cooler weather
I wanted a comfortable riding jacket that didn't look like a riding jacket when I was off the bike, this is what I chose after a fair bit of deliberation.
The waxed cotton feels a bit synthetic and is a bit thinner than I was hoping for, but seems to be durable enough, I've only had the jacket for around a month now, so I can't comment on long-term. The reinforced panels in the shoulders and on the forearms feel great, but the color is slightly off of the rest of the jacket if that bothers you (I have the tan color).
Weatherproofing is above my expectations, I wasn't expecting exceptional based on the 8k waterproof rating, but after an hour and a half in moderate rain there was no sign of moisture getting through. I will say that my windshield protects me from most wind and rain on my chest, but shoulders are where most leaks come from and mine were bone dry.
The armor feels insignificant when you're wearing the jacket, but I pulled it out to check it out and it's a lot thicker and more durable than I was expecting, the jacket does a good job of hiding it. I do wish the back protector was included, but for the price I can't grumble too much.
Temperature-wise it's been 50s to 70s since I got the jacket, I've worn the thermal liner a few times at the cooler end of that spectrum, but I didn't need it. If you don't have much wind protection, expect your mileage to vary greatly on that; the jacket flows a surprising amount of air through the zipper at highway speeds if your chest is in direct wind. My biggest gripe temp wise is that without the thermal liner, the sleeves don't cinch tightly enough to keep wind out. This causes a large amount of air flowing up your sleeves which is nice in the 70s, but once the temps drop it gets cold fast.
Fit is about what I expected, I usually wear a small and a small fit me fine. The jacket does feel a bit loose without the liner, but there's not really a way around that considering the bulk of the liner.
One final thing worth noting is that since Revzilla made the video, Rev'it has added a loop to hold back the neck cinch to keep it from smacking you when it's not buckled.

This jacket feels great when wearing it.
The style, materials and fit are outstanding. All of the protection panels hit at exactly the right place on the elbows and shoulders. The waxed cotton is amazingly comfortable, and I have not worn the jacket in the foul weather. I did experience two problems with this jacket: 1) the front zipper slide is on the left side (most jackets in the US have the zipper slide on the right side). It feels weird zipping up the jacket. At first, I thought that it must be a women's jacket but realized that it is a man's jacket. 2) The jacket has two brest snap pockets. On my jacket, the top snaps on one pocket are missing. Rezilla was excellent in giving me a discount for the defect.

This can't be the only jacket you own, but it's an excellent addition.
This product is niche in that it is for wet-weather, cooler, or windy days. The wind and rain don't cut through it, which makes is great on a cold or rainy day and entirely too sweaty on a hot one. This is without the fleece lining, but the lining would only compound things.

The pockets aren't waterproof, receipts and paper will get wet but my wallet and phone are fine in them on even the wettest day. But without much in the way of airflow and the water resistant material, it isn't an every day jacket.

Great urban jacket
The Zircon is a great choice for two or three seasons of riding. With the great spring we're having, I've been using it while commuting during mornings with 40-45F temperatures. With only a single layer, the jacket is fairly comfortable with the thermal liner installed for my thirty minute commute on a naked bike. Anything longer and one may have to layer up underneath.

The fit is quite comfortable - with the liner installed it does run slightly small, as based on the Rev'It size guide I'm just in between a medium and a small, although the medium does fit quite well.

Unfortunately we have not had any 70F+ days, so I cannot speak to the airflow without the liner installed, but the wax cotton does seem light enough that the jacket should be decently cool with the wrists loosened and a few buttons used.

Style-wise it's great; it fits my airhead well and feels like the fabric will hold up very well to daily commuting. The contrasting colors on the Napoleon pocket zip pull and internal fasteners is a nice touch that helps in easily finding them. My only complaint is that I wish the collar was a slight bit taller, as without a balaclava or scarf wind can find it's way around my neck.

Army Style Jacket with Motorcycle Protection
Most Rev'It Jackets are so stylish, that's what I love about them. I bought this one in Olive Green, because it looks so "Army". The pockets are spacious, and unlike some other Rev'It jackets, this one has many pockets for us Americans with lots of junk to carry around with us, like Keys, Wallet, Cellphone, Eyeglasses, etc.
Another good feature is that you don't "feel" the armor like so very many other jackets I've owned in that I removed the armor in them to get comfortable. This is a big plus.
Some bads:
The waist belt is a bit thin and will probably wear out way before the jacket.
The stitching on my left pocket ripped open just a bit when I went in with a gloved hand for my keys.
You need a mirror to do the mini belt for the neck, not very convenient.
The jacket is autumn warm, not necessarily winter warm in my opinion, and I've ridden it in 50F for sustained periods, and felt chilled.
Still a very handsome jacket that I will circulate with my others since I like being seen in it. Vanity prevails.

Well worth the money
Had this jacket for less than a year. Fit was good. Felt comfortable but only wore it 5 times before an accident that damaged it. Must say, I only walked away with a fractured radial head elbow. Not sure how that happened but when I went down, the jacket served its purposed and provided above average protection. Only reason not buying it again cause moving up to an Urban Sand jacket from Rev'it.

Two Season Style
I've owned this jacket for two years. In that two years, I haven't worn it nearly as much as I would like.

It's an incredible looking jacket. I removed the belt because it was annoying and I fold the neck belt in and keep the neck open most of the time. I also waxed the outside of the jacket because even though it says "waxed cotton" I don't believe that it is. It doesn't look like it. It was probably DWR-treated. But after waxing the jacket it takes on a patina after a few months that is amazing looking. I get compliments all the time. All the time!

Functionally, this thing will keep you dry. As it comes, it's very water resistant. The outside fabric might soak through, but inside you will stay dry. I've ridden through many rain showers and my top stayed dry. If you wax it like me, you'll get more beading on the outside too.

It's also wind resistant. On cold days that's a blessing. I don't know how well the insulated liner works. Like most of the liners that come with motorcycle jackets, it seems like a cheap afterthought. It's 1980s synthetic insulation technology. Cheap, bulky, and cut weird. When it's cold, I wear a technical mid layer from this century. (Hiking/climbing gear is way ahead of motorcycling gear when it comes to warmth to weight ratios.) The cuffs, however, are not very adjustable and without gauntlets you'll get wind up there.

On hot days, the wind resistance sucks. It is hot and clammy. Wind will not cut through this and cool you down. But you can unzip it a little and open up the cuffs. It's not that bad, but not exactly comfortable. I live in Oklahoma where most of the riding season is very hot. That's why I don't wear this as much as I'd like. In a cooler climate this jacket would excel.

Feature-wise, it's a mixed bag. The water and wind resistance are great. The pockets are great. There are four cargo-style pockets on the front and two hand pockets. There is an internal chest pocket and two internal hip pockets. There are no vents. It has a reflective strip on the back that is subtle enough not to detract from the style of the jacket. It has a draw string on the bottom for when it's very cold. The neck belt helps fit the collar to your neck when you need it.

As for safety, it has armor in the shoulders and elbows and a pocket for a back protector. The shoulders and elbows are reinforced with Cordura or a Cordura-like material, but the rest of the jacket doesn't seem like it would survive much friction. It is not a beefy jacket.

I think it fits a little big. I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs with an athletic build and a medium fits just about right in the shoulders/sleeves, but with a little room in the waist. It might be too billowy on very slim guys.

Overall, I'd recommend this to someone looking for a great-looking spring and fall jacket that will keep them dry. I haven't seen too many jackets that look better. I think it's too specific to be your one jacket, though. So if you are cash-strapped, you might want to look for something else.

Sand color shows dirt, coat soaks on outside
I like the style and the fit. Two things are problems:
1. the sand color turned into black in irregular not-attractive way. I wanted a more stylish coat under which I could potentially wear a sport coat. Also a lighter color for summer plus water-proof like it says. First in the rain the coat literally acted like a sponge on the outside so while it may be waterproof underneath [lining],it looked rather ridiculous being utterly saturated [and heavy] on the outside. Second, the sand color quickly turned to black in the areas most exposed [arms, front] and not evenly which might look cool, but more or less highlighted the wrinkles naturally occuring. So if I'd chosen a dark color, this would not have been a problem.

I'm a thin-build, 5"3, will the small size accommodate my build or would I be swimming in it?
Giang U on Nov 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'm 6'1" and slim and wear a medium. It's a little loose without the liner and snug with it on. A small might be too big for you.
Are there pockets on the inside? It looks like it in the video, how big are they?
Trevor J on Feb 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There are internal pockets on either side of the shell, each perfectly sized to fit an iPad mini. The thermal liner has inner pockets as well, but they're smaller.
