Keeps you dry with style
My friends did not notice I was wearing motorcycle pants, they only noticed when I said.

Pros:
- Style, people won't notice any difference from a normal jeans
- Protects you from the rain( even heavy rain )

Cons:
- Slightly hot, but not too much
- Gets a little baggy near the ankle
- The waterproof pocket DOES NOT FIT A PHONE( even 4 inch phone )

The size of the waterproof pocket was a big down for me, it's mind-blowing the size of this pocket because it can only fit things the size of a credit card, also it's very hard to pick anything in this pocket, my plans to put my phone there went through the window.

I'm 181cm with 85 cm of waist and 65 of hips. I bought a black W31 L34, and I also bought the Alpinestars Jam Drystar shoes.

The pants fits a little bigger, I bought 40 and I wear tight 40 jeans and also a roomy 42 jeans, and it feels like almost a 42 which is good to me.
You will feel it's a little heavier than normal, but you will forget it when you're walking.
Sometimes it's hard to sit, it's not that comfortable sitting in some situations.
You will notice this pants while going upstairs, or having to duck down to get something on the floor, or when it's 28+ degrees Celsius.

I'm a skinny guy, I have the bare minimum of fat on my body, so I can wear this pants in hot days without soaking it inside, but I cannot imagine me wearing it in 33+ degrees, it will stink the whole time.

I also noticed a small gap between the pants and the shoes when I ride in the balls of my feet, so beware if you plan to wear with short boots. I wouldn't buy with longer legs because it would make the pants very baggy at the end of it, and also because actually I never got water inside through there, I just got from a medium to heavy rain, with gusts of winds and could not find any spots of water going through the back of my feet.

Also, it's important to remember that even though this pants will keeps you dry, it will be soaked in the outside, so you won't be able to sit after you get out of the bike in the rain, only if you don't care to wet the seat then go ahead! Also, if you try to dry the pants with a towel you will get the towel all black because of the color of the pants, you have been warned.

Sharing some fit experience
I've been through a buy and return cycle with a bunch of Rev'it riding jeans trying to find my favorite (THANK YOU REVZILLA!). I returned these, but I want to share my thoughts on fit in case it helps someone.

I'm 6'0" tall, 180. I wear a 31x34 or 32x34 in a normal jean. I have a 31x34 pair of Rev'it Austins that fit great until I'm in riding position and then the cuffs ride up too much. That got to bugging me too much so I decided to go on a quest for a better fit.

Here's what I tried in order of bagginess:

Philly 2, 32x36 - Way too baggy for me and not what I'd call a regular fit. Waist felt more like a 33. Length seemed good.

Lombard 2, 32x36 - Returned these right away. The waist was almost too tight to button. Felt more like a 31 or even 30. I know, I know - this guy is kidding himself about being a 32. I promise you, I have no less than 12 pair of 32 or 31 waist pants I wear regularly. Weird, because the 32x36 Philly felt too big (see above). I rechecked the tag multiple times to make sure it wasn't a mistake. Length was perfect.

Lombard 2 34x36 - Felt like a 32 waist. Was what I would call a regular/relaxed fit. These aren't baggy and aren't slim. Not quite "dad jeans", but getting there. The hips ballooned out a little. Length was perfect. If not for the hips thing I would have kept these.

Orlando H2O, 31x34 - Great fit. I would call it regular fit with an almost perfect taper. Returned because the length was perfect standing up, which means they'd be not perfect in riding position. Also They are waterproof and the reviews about the airflow scared me off ultimately.

Orlando H2O 32x36 - Perfect fit!!! Not so tight they were stuck to my legs, but not show-your-undies-baggy and not grow-a-beard-and-treat-people-like-crap tight. Also totally not a dad jean. But the waterproof airflow problem led me to return. Gotta wear these in 100+ heat. The Lombard was the closest thing to these in a non-wp, but see above.

Austin, 32x36 - This what I ultimately settled on. They are a touch looser in the legs than the 31x34 Austins I used all last summer. That and the extra length should keep my shy ankles happy. Strangely enough, the waist in these feels exactly like the waist in the 31x34 Austin.

Austin, 31x34 - Still reading? See above. Great fit, too short in riding position.

Versatile Voyager
I love these pants - kinda hard to call them "jeans" since they're not really denim. Easy to wear at work w/o looking like you're wearing motorcycle gear. Yeah...a little stiff when you first put them on but after a few hours they feel great.

Fit - on the 501 money. I'm 6'1", 240 with "husky" calves and thighs. I typically wear 38/32 or 38/34 for riding and they fit perfect top to bottom. There's a little extra room at the waist which is great for comfort and the length is a little shy of 34 but longer than 32 - they don't bunch up at the ankles for me at all. Plenty of room in the legs and will likely be okay with another layer for cold days.

It's been raining here in So CA (yeah, it happens...) and I'm bone dry and toasty warm in 50-60 degree temps. Not likely my choice for anything over 80 degrees though as there's no ventilation.

I chose these for their looks and the armor, durability and waterproof features make my bang for the buck meter max out. They're not good for a day at the track or heavy adventure off roading; but a canyon run and urban riding are perfect for these and you'll feel great wearing them off the bike too.

If there were other colors I'd buy another pair

Meh
Mom Jeans

Not uncomfortable on the bike, but off the bike not great.
Not good in the cold, but I suspect not great in the heat either.
I think I am gonna get some fairly more substantive nee protection, as the ones that come with it are underwhelming.

That said, they are not bad. They are fairly comfortable riding, and walking. I might just be being picky here.

Thus far the other riding jeans that I have are the:
Icon jeans with removable line. They are awesome (but they shrink in the wash)
and the Icon timax, which are amazing protection and comfort riding in hot weather.

A very good option, if you find the right size
I wear 30x32 street jeans. I ordered a pair of 30x34 of the Orlandos, and they were way too big: without hip armor I could almost slide them off without unbuttoning. I exchanged them for 28x34 and they fit better, if a bit too tight with hip protectors. 29x34 would have been ideal, but they do not come in this size. The Seesmart knee protectors do not inspire any confidence, but the pockets are just the right size for the pair of Sas-Tec protectors that I happened to have around. The optional Seesoft hip protectors look like they would do a much better job than the Seesmart. I had an unexpected problem with the knee armor positioning: the pockets are not adjustable, and the armor was positioned way too high, riding up on the thighs, and leaving almost no coverage on the knees. That was the reason I am returning them. I tried both the included Seesmart armor and my Sas-Tec; it is not a fault of the armor, but the pocket position.

The fit of these 28x34 Orlandos is almost identical to the BMW Five-Pocket Jeans size 46, but the BMW's armor pockets are properly positioned for my legs. I had to hem the BMW, so if the Orlando came in 28x36 they could have had a better positioned knee armor, but they do not seem to come in this size, plus they cannot be hemmed.

If it wasn't for the armor pockets, I would have kept the jeans. They seem to have a solid build quality, and offer the convenience of not having to fiddle with rain gear. I was hoping that they would work for me, but protection to me matters just as much as the convenience. If you are lucky to have the right body build and find the size that fits you, I recommend them.

Size down for truer jeans fit, consider extra length
6' tall w/ 33' inseam, typically 32x34 jeans (on bike as well)
I ordered black (which come dark black, not faded like pic) in size 31x34, since they sound big. 31 fits perfect, cut/style is just like a 501. Super comfortable on bike, wear like a pair of jeans. I'm in a base layer as well, temps 55. Waterproof has been great, it's been coming down straight every ride.
Unfortunately for me, there is no 31x36, on bike(forward controls) the hem is off my boot(RSD Mojave boot) dangerously close to the top of the waterproofing, even with pads out. No leaks, in either, but I'll have to sacrifice the exellent fit for extra length; still should be better than majority of alternate offerings.

Already been recommending; but consider the inseam and for great jeans fit size down.

Great all-weather riding jeans that don't look stupid.
At 5'10", 155lbs, the 32x32 jeans fit just like my Levis do, perhaps a bit bigger. These are normal, loose, over-the-boot style jeans, not tight skinny jeans. It would be easy to wear long underwear and not have the armor be tight. The waterproof claim is no joke, not a drip gets through. Nor does much, if any, air, so on especially hot days, these will be warm (and leave you wondering why you wore waterproof heavy pants on a nice day anyway). These pants are also fairly heavy, compared to normal jeans. Not a problem, but feels a little odd when first walking in them. All of that said, these are great jeans, very protective and highly functional. They look totally normal, not goofy at all, if you want to wear them off the bike without advertising that you're on your bike. In fact, I liked these so much I ordered the lighter, non-H20-proof Philly jeans for sunny days. They do run a bit long, but sit perfectly over boots when on bike and don't crease or bunch in an awkward way when walking. Do it. Worth the money.

Stealth mode, rain or shine
These pants are great if you want to fly under the radar. The armor in the knees are undetectable from the outside, and the optional hip armor isn't too far behind. I haven't used them in extreme downpours but they have kept me dry in light rain on my short commute and jaunts. The cut is nice and trim - pretty much perfect in my opinion.

I ordered the dark blue in a 32x32. I normally wear a 32 in generous (normal American) sized pants, and a 34 in truer sizing (190lbs, 5'9").

An important note for sizing: if you wear a 32 inseam jeans, get the 34 inseam. The 34 is the "regular" inseam for these pants (in the middle). I made the mistake of ordering my normal inseam without paying attention to the choices, so my armor sits too high.

Color on picture/video are wrong
First of all, I'd like to point out that the dark blue color I ordered does not look anything like the medium blue from Revzilla's picture/video.

At first I thought Revzilla made a mistake and gave me the black version. But after look at the tag, the pant I received is indeed the dark blue version. The dark blue is just so dark that it looks almost like charcoal. However, because this pant has great features. I have decided to give it a try.

I can't comment on if the pant will break in. I haven't ride on it yet, only walk around in the house with it. The pant itself is a little stiff, heavy, and hard. But that is understandable because it has so many layers. The pant is quite thick and heavy duty. I can already tell it will hold up against abrasion well.

There is almost no air flow in this pant. Good for winter, but bad for summer. The inside layer is pretty soft, but I would still recommend to wear a base-layer to absorb sweat since there's not much airflow.

I am 5'9" 32 waist 30 inseam. When I stand straight, the knee pad is slightly low, barely cover the top of my knee. But I suppose when I am in riding position it will fit properly.

For a $300 jean, everything looks premium so far.

waterproof and stylish!
Last year I got caught in a down pour, unprepared. So I wanted something that had waterproof protection as well as style. These are the perfect jeans for what I wanted. The airflow is minimal so they are great for cold weather. It doesn't rain often in California, but when it does it can be unexpected. The jeans run a little large, so take that into consideration. Most money I've ever spent on jeans but they are worth it!

Are these jeans comfortable in warmer weather like 80-90*F?
Anthony B on Mar 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, these jeans do not breathe very well and 75 is about as warm as I can be and still be comfortable. They are ideal for 50s-60s.
Will the fabric on the outside of these jeans wear and fade close to traditional jeans?
Chris B on Oct 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes they do. I have the black Orlando jeans, very dark dye, that will fade a little with use but not a ton. When I hang up to dry after using them, (dry inside, wet outside) the water dripped off is dyed black, so unless you do something to try lock dye in, I think a machine wash would take a lot of dye off. These have been easy to spot clean when dry with a damp cloth and a quick wipe, no need rub to hard or you'll rub off the dye
I don't get the size chart. What is the length of the pants in hips and in the inseam at size 30*32? And what size from the chart is that corresponding to. Thank you
Ivan T on Jun 8, 2017
Can these be machine washed/dried? And I'm a slim guy 6'2", my normal jeans are a 32-33" waist and 34" length. Should I go with the same size with these?
