Good screen, good build, a bit too delicate.
Pros:
Good build, looks, and design.

Cons:
Be careful cleaning with any sort of harsh sponge, the plastic is super soft and not coated with any protectant, it will scratch very easily. Use only soft cloth to clean.

Others:
Tighten it well or it will move at high speed.

Cheers!

Transformed my Tiger!!!
At last...

I didn't have good luck with the stock screen. It seemed to point the wind right at the top of my shield on my helmet - resulting in the notorious Tiger Wind-ROAR. I use a Shoei GT-Air and a Neotec, and both of these, notably quiet helmets, were so noisy over 40mph that I couldn't believe it. I am 5'7", and use the seat low, which may have something to do with it, but I tried the Triumph Tall/Touring windscreen, and that didn't work for me either - essentially the same (ROAR) performance as the stock one, give or take a few mph.

I looked at lot of windscreens, and decided to give this one a try. I really didn't want a Maadstad - no offense, but even if they work, they don't appeal to me, and don't look like they belong on a Tiger (to my eyes).

Installation was a breeze (especially after all of my experience swapping the OEM ones). I set it up low to start, and it seemed good, but after a few quick tweaks, setting a little higher than middle - I found my peace in the Tiger's seat - now I can hear the purr of that beast beneath me. No more wind-roar, no buffeting, just a nice smooth little bubble of calm air. I'm about to take off for a 2,000 mile trip, so I will report back afterwards if I come up with anything less than stellar results, but after my test rides, I anticipate this will be the cat's meow. This and the ROX Risers turned a pretty acceptable bike, into a road machine with all-day comfort.

I am really glad I bought this. Fellow Tiger owners - thanks for your inputs - also, I may throw some washers in over the the Puig grommets, just to keep 'em in shape.

Revzilla - thank you for, somehow and amazingly, having this on my doorstep in less than 18 hours! It was here before it was marked "shipped" on the website! Service, as always, is phenomenal!

Enjoy your ride!

2013 Triumph Tiger 800XC-Puig Touring wind screen with optional clip on visor
I had already tried to modify the stock screen with other clip on/ adhesive accessories without any luck. It was just too short for my height. 6 ft 1 in. 34 inseam. This new touring windscreen with the optional clip on visor is the perfect set up for this bike. It still allows me to look over the screen with the suggested 50 foot clear view to the road surface ahead. I'd guess I can see the road 25-30 feet ahead without looking through the screen. There is some air that sneaks past the right and left sides of the screen, but it doesn't hit my helmet and only adds air on my upper arms and shoulders. Which is perfect for me. If I want no air on me, I drive the cage. I also got a chance to use the screen in the rain. It did a great job of allowing the rain to go mostly over my helmet. some splashed back but hey, it was raining. No rain = drive the cage! Using the variable height adjustment, it only took 2 small adjustments to find what works for me. I'd say about 60 degree angle. maybe a little more. the only downside to this screen is that the adjustment handles must be very tight in strong headwinds to keep the screen from slipping down. The headwinds we were caught in were 35-45 MPH gusting to 50. At 65 MPH, that is air hitting the screen at about 100-110 MPH. The screen does have some flex in it as it is kind of tall and lean on the sides. But that never changed mounting bolt tightness or affected the screen in any way. I now have over 1000 miles on it and it just plain Works! The last benefit is that I was able to ride about 500 miles with barely a bug on the face shield. The screen did pretty good too. Using a great non-abrasive acrylic cleaner/polish (Brillianize)_ keeps the screen slippery keeping bugs from committing suicide and rain collects a lot less.

Greatly Reduces Wind Noise and Buffeting
While not as bad as other motorcycles I've owned with a windscreen, the 2015 Tiger XCx windscreen created way too much wind noise and moderate buffeting at anything above 40 mph. The wind noise at highway speeds was deafening and the buffeting for extended durations made me motion-sick. When I say the wind noise was deafening, I could hardly hear my SENA 20s turned up and even my Smart phone playing music was difficult to hear.

I've played this game of "windscreen roulette" before trying to find one that worked for me. On my previous bike it took 3 screens to finally find one that worked "best". Not perfect, but best…

What I want in a windscreen is one that smooths the air. I'm used to riding a Monster so I like having airflow which helps cool me during warmer days. I don't ride in the winter so, I'm not looking for something to keep me warm.

There are many options for the Tiger XCx. I'll be the first to admit, the windscreen not only has to do its job but it should also look good on the bike matching or enhancing the lines of the bike

The Puig was my first choice. I liked that it looked good, received positive user reviews on forums.

Installation was easy. I would caution though that you you check the pre-installed screws as the two upper screws were not even finger tight. I found this out the hard way when I took a test ride and I saw a nut fall-off.

The screen can be adjusted up or down and any position in between. Each side must be adjusted somewhat independently as there is not "bar" to ensure both sides are completely even. But the screen more or less acts as an equalizing or leveling bar.

Functionally it works really well. In its lowest position it has reduced the wind noise by at least 70 percent. Buffeting has been greatly reduced by 80 percent. In the upper positions the wind noise is still reduced but the buffeting is more prevalent. Still not as bad as stock.

In the low position, airflow is where I want it. My helmet is in clean/clear air which helps with venting and keeping me cooler. I know its working as I'm getting bug splats on the visor...

Puig screen for '16 Tiger XR
Good fix for the wind noise issue. Looks great in the medium tint too. The clear would closely match the stock screen. Install was easy but like others said, you'll need to have some washers handy...and if your like me, that means a trip to Lowes. Seems liike nIce quality though. Very happy with this purchase. And, I think revzilla is an amazing operation....they're buttoned up. I'll deal with them as much as possible. '16 Triumph Tiger XR.

Keep the look. add functionality
Picked up my puig smoke windscreen yesterday. Super easy to install (I did it in the UPS store parking lot) in a bout 10 minutes.

At first the screen looks huge compared to OEM, but it does look very good. (my bike is a Triumph Tiger xc phantom black). The adjustability works very well. I started out at the lowest setting, then went up about an inch and PERFECT.

Later on in the day the temperature dipped from +35 C to +7 C, I put the screen in the full up position and it provided great protection.

Better than OEM
Definitely an upgrade from the OEM. The install is very simple and fast. It will take a couple rides to get the adjustment right depending on your height, etc. I thought just putting it on the highest setting would be the best but It actually was not, so don't fret if it doesn't feel right the first ride.

Puig Touring Windscreen replaced Triumph Adventure Windscreen = Huge Improvement!
Short and sweet - when I purchased my Tiger 800XC I also purchased the Triumph Accessory "Adventure' Windscreen. The Adventure windscreen is about 4" taller than the stock windscreen and is adjustable - however, the design of the screen allowed way too much wind to pass and literally offered only marginally better performance than the stock windscreen. I went about 3 years with the Triumph Adventure screen before finally upgrading to this Puig Touring windscreen. What a difference! It's by no means perfect, but it doesn't make any sacrifices for performance, looks great, and performs nearly flawlessly. I'm sure a speciality screen would perform better, but this one looks nearly stock (better in fact) and gets the job done perfectly. Highly recommended.

Good value
The stock windscreen on the 2014 Tiger 800 xc does little to deflect the wind (I'm 6'). In fact, it somehow actually made it worse! After installing the Puig (I elected for the smoked version), wind and buffeting decreased dramatically. You can adjust the Puig quite a bit so you might more wind or less depending on the riding you are doing--that is a great feature (shouldn't all adv bike windscreens be adjustable?). The method of adjust is not the best, but works fine. I did notice that after a few miles at highway speeds one of the knobs which keeps the screen in place was slipping, and the screen dropped a bit. I had to pull over and re-adjust and tighten the knobs down. It doesn't seem to be a continuing problem, but I did find that adjusting while riding is very difficult.

Installation was fine. No major issues. About 20 minutes or less. You have to use OEM fasteners for the front screws and rubber grommets, which seem slightly too small for the openings in the Puig. They seem to be holding, but Puig really should supply all the hardware.

All in all, Puig is a nice product and so far it has worked great. The Triumph screen was simply much too expensive (as are all Triumph parts), and Puig has a good reputation and reviews I read on Revzilla were accurate and helpful.

Just got it and what a difference
Just put this on my 2014 triumph 800xc and it is a big difference. I already had a larger windshield on the bike when I had purchased it from the previous owner, but the Puig was about 4" higher and with the tilting mechanism I managed to get most of the wind off of my body. I can tell it will be a game changer for my cross country trip. Will write more about this after I get in the road
