Did not meet expectations
I'll start off by saying that I absolutely love the concept of this product as well as the final result. It takes away a lot unnecessary, and frankly, ugly hardware and aims for a simple, effective look. A functional and stylish idea.

That being said, it leaves a lot to be desired both from a Revzilla distributed product and $175 price point.

Firstly, there were absolutely NO instructions included. Not even some generic directions that could work for any motorcycle. Although I am one who likes the challenge of figuring a problem out, I bought this product expecting some direction. I would hate to damage my expensive new tail light because I did not include a spacer in a non obvious place. I like to think that whoever designed the piece had an idea on how it should be installed for proper use.

Fasteners included were not correctly sized for their function. Leaving enough wiggle so that aesthetics of the installation could be affected. They are also way longer than is necessary which looks out of place when the seat is off and making it a pain to screw in the locking nuts.

I also believe that at this price point they could be bothered to include a resistor to equalize the load and keep the proper blinking interval.

All in all, the product works and is beautiful. I just expect excellent fit and finish and ease of install out of a product at this price point and out of Revzilla. NRG, if you are reading this, this product has potential to be AWESOME in every way. Work on the details!

Looks amazing, agree with other posts re: instructions
So I read all the reviews prior to purchasing, and kind of knew what I was getting into regarding installation. I simply set aside more time that should be required and just started taking things apart and playing with the pieces to see what fit and how. Really wasn't too complicated. I ordered the tucked plate, and I ended up mounting it to the front of the eliminator kit (towards the front of the bike) and sandwiched it between the eliminator plate and the underside of the seat pocket, using the mounting screws for the eliminator plate. I agree that the long screws included don't look great once mounted, but they did help in mounting as I was able to get everything situated along with the spacers and get it all aligned prior to tightening. You could always cut the extra bold length off after install if you tend to have the seat off a bunch and are worried about the aesthetics of it. The tucked plate mount is great for the looks, but was just a little too tucked for my piece of mind in not getting pulled over for a non-visible plate. So I just bent the plate mount down a bit after tightening everything up, easy peasy. I had also ordered the front turn signals at the same time, and I will add a review on that product page with the trials and tribulations that went into that install. I did end up getting some instructions this morning via email from Dayna at NRC, which I will happily send anyone that messages me. Can't rate the durability as I've only just put it on.

My final take - I agree that NRC needs to work on the details, i.e. instructions (which Dayna told me they were working on). If you call them though, their support is great. I do agree that at this price point, they should probably include the dual load equalizer, and I think their margin on the product will leave them enough room to do so (this is conjecture based on unboxing and seeing materials used and parts list). All in all, the final result is worth the hassle. The bike has gone from looking like a wonky parts bin rear fender assembly to damn sexy.

Looks great! Fit and finish could be better.
Install was relatively quick. I don't think it took me more than 30 min total but it required me having to electrical tape down the loose wires to avoid them getting in the way of the 4 mounting bolts. The mounting bolts are not built into the fender like the stock one is so it requires when installing to hold the bold in and the fender as you connect the nuts from up top. Also the bolts included for this are about an inch to long so when you take take your seat off you do see the 4 bolts sticking out quite a bit unlike the stock clean look of the cap nuts that worked with the stock bolts. When installing the kit there seems to be a bit of play so you have to make sure everything is lined up when tightening down the bolts or things may be askew. Also be careful when tightening things down because the sub-frame come in contact with the led signals so I'm pretty sure if you went a little to far you could crack it.

When putting on my license plate I couldn't utilize all 4 of the mounting points because they didn't line up with the plate. I could only use the top 2. Never had any issue with this with other kits as I am fairly sure motorcycle license plates in the US are all the same dimensions. This isn't a big deal but its worth noting.

Also the spring loaded keyhole lock cover under does not get reused in this kit. I doubt that having the lock exposed will cause any issues down the road but only time will tell.

All in all love the look of the product. Works great too. Just felt a bit more like a universal kit rather than a product designed exactly for the bike.

Looks cool and easy to install
I live in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and was suprised to get my order within a few days. Installation was easy and all worked perfectly. Turn lights blink a bit fast but that can be helped with a load equalizer. Service by Revzilla's Justin was great too. He sent me an installation guide and answered all question immediately. Thanks again Revzilla and Justin!

Over all I am very happy
I installed this last night on my XSR900, after reading the reviews I knew what I was getting into. I was expecting this install to be a lot more difficult. The install was all plug and play though and only took me about 30 min. There were zero instructions but very simple to figure out how to install.

My only complaint is when you look closely at the craftsmanship, for the price I expected it to be a little better. The rounded cut is very rough and looks as if someone with a hand saw cut it in their garage. I can live with it though and like I said over I am happy and I would buy this again.
