Kriega Sling EDC Shoulder Bag

Comparing this to the Kriega Sling WP bag, the biggest difference is the EDC has a two zipper pocket instead of the roll top design on the WP. The EDC dimensions are 12.6(h) x 7.8(w) x 5.5(d) ins. It has 9-litres of capacity. I think the EDCs biggest pocket is slightly smaller than the WP.

Use:
- Originally wanted the EDC to my 13.3" laptop, but had issue doing so. (Had a quarter sized piece of laptop left) If your laptop is bigger than 13", you will have trouble fitting it. I eventually got mine in there, but worried on a zipper or fabric eventually tearing. That's not to say the bag's quality is flawed, but my laptop wasn't meant for the bag. (Still keeping the Kriega)
- Water proofing, haven't tested. I assume it will be very water resistance but not as water "proof" as the Kriega Sling WP. The top cover should be fine at keeping water out. Side ways rain might be an issue, though.
- Currently carry a book, over the ear headphones, mouse, goPro, batteries, phone charger, cables, wallet, phone. Room for much more.
- Could possibly fit a pair of jeans and a few t-shirts, etc.

Comfort:
- I originally changed the sling over my right shoulder. I switched back to the left side as I had trouble getting in and out of the zippers with ease. The front most pocket has one zipper that closes in favor of the sling being on the left shoulder. You can get the zipper open on the right shoulder, but you would risk items falling out of the bag. (Zipper opens from bottom up) With the sling on the left side, I can get in and out of the bag without fear of dropping an item. The other two pockets have two zippers which can be moved to either side of the pocket.
- The bag does not move even at higher speeds without the extra strap which can be removed. On curvy road rides the bag may shift slightly, but only if you're completely leaned over or off the bike. So far, I haven't had it come close to come off even while riding aggressively. If you anticipate rides like that, carry the extra strap for extra support.
- You can feel the bag is back there, but it's not overbearing. I keep it on its tightest setting, but leave enough to let it rest on my seat instead of holding the weight on my shoulder. With the extra strap, it shifts more of the weight to your core.

Style:
- Bag looks like a smaller version of the messenger bag. I like the look and the fit & finish feel premium. Every feels well done.
- Every strap can be swapped over within a minute no issue.
- Looks very stealth and compact. Doesn't look bulky or over done.

Extra attachments:
- Haven't tried, but I'm sure you could attach a Kriega US-5 or another after-market daisy chain bag to it.

Overall:
Pricey, but a great bag. I carry it to work and also ride with it anytime I'm on my bike. Looking forward to more Kriega products.
