The worlds first AAA abrasion rated single layer hoody! The Knox Shield Full Zip Hoody is made using UHMWPE fibers allowing for single layer construction, giving you the ultimate in comfort and protection. No compromise. You'll find that it will be easy to forget you're wearing protective gear at all! Even the armor is specially developed to all but disappear, made to be extremely flexible and thin. AGATT (all gear all the time) as they say, doesn't mean you have to look like a storm trooper. Don't forget the matching comfy pants!
Features:
- Full zipped hoody made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers, known for their high strength, abrasion resistance and durability. This has been knitted with elastane and soft cotton for exceptional strength, stretch and comfort
- Includes new MICRO-LOCK Compact armor in the shoulders, elbows and back, keeping the hoody lighter and more flexible
- YKK zips throughout
- Hood lined with soft cotton for added comfort
- 2 exterior zipped pockets with soft zip pullers, with extra visor wipe included in 1 pocket
- 2 internal low profile pockets
- Interior earplug and mobile phone pocket
- Soft stretch binding on cuffs and waist for comfort
- Reflective prints for night riding that are black in the daylight
- Discreet Knox branding throughout
- Thumb loops for added security
- Security belt loop system highlighted on the inside to ensure riders can secure jeans to hoody
- Machine Washable garment – remove armor before washing
- Branded Velcro on the inside front for a MICRO-LOCK chest protector that can be added as an optional extra
- Low profile shoulder and elbow armor – EN 1621-2 Level 1
- Full CE approved back protector – EN 1621 -2 Level 2
- Approved to EN17092-2:2020 as a CE Class AAA garment
