Works great for the hearing impaired
I have been a rider for over 40 years and at age 60 I got aids. Let me explain, seeing aids and hearing aids is what plagues me. While the speakers were good in the interphone f5mc, I was struggling to hear over the intercom. That is why I upgraded to the bigger speakers. Along with the Shoei j cruise helmet, the sound is phenomenal. And the good news is, no more aids, (hearing aids that is). I can listen to most songs at half volume and the microphone sounds better than the boom mic.
Revzilla is a great company with good prices and quick shipping. I could not be more pleased.

Sublime sound
I am speechless. It's loud and clear. And the bass is there. It's like listening to real headphones. Just a whole different level of music experience I've never experienced before on a motorcycle. The microphone is also so much better ergonomically.

Do you have Shoei? Buy this.
Big big upgrade from the regular f5 speakers. The audio quality is better in my helmet with these speakers than the speaker set in my car. It's an absolute luxury to have such sublime sound while riding. The mounting kit is ok, and the speakers fit perfectly in my GT-Air. If you appreciate the full range of sound in the songs your listening to, or you just want to hear every syllable of your boss chewing you out for being on your bike instead of at work, these speakers are for you.

Great add on to the F5MC
I bought the F5MC Shoei headset to go with my "new at the time" Neotech helmet. After a week touring in Colorado with this I have to say it was awesome. My first Bluetooth headset was a chatterbox. The sound on this is so much better, that it is hard to describe how vast the improvement is. I don't have to max out the volume anymore and the sound are so clear with intercom, music ,or phone. I highly recommend.

If you're wearing a Neotec, you should be wearing the Intersphone F5MC too!
My worst fear, and way too often my reality, is buying things that should be easy to install and just work, but mostly, they just don't! But the Interphone F5MC Headset Kit For Shoei's Neotec helmet fits the helmet perfectly...and best of all...easily! Finally!

The Interphone itself takes a bit of getting used to, but after a day or so, it all starts to come intuitively, and like I said...it just works! It paired first time with my phone and with my Garmin Zumo 665. Within in minutes, I was streaming XM radio into my helmet and cruising down a backroad near Damascus, MD. This product works and it works as advertised. Like I said, finally!

Not quite perfect fit
The sound is great, not that I have anything to compare it to. Fit is ok, but quirky. I installed this in my Shoei Neotec, and found that several of the snaps that connect the cheek pads to the shell are challenged by the extra layer of plastic they are being asked to hold down. Removing the helmet must be done with more care now to keep those snaps from popping, especially the one that holds the mic. That boom mike is great in that it's not a big foam ball, but it sat too close to my mouth until I bent it where it comes out from the padding. It has been fine ever since.

Nice but didn't work for me
The boom mic rubbed my lips when installed on my Neotec helmet. I don't have the thinnest of lips, but not the thickest either. Seems like they would build a bit more adjustment into mounting position to overcome this. Otherwise, its very nice, but I ordered the Sena 20s with the flexible boom mic to replace it.

Works as advertised
Good product. Solid as a rock. Easy to install. I have a hearing impairment and upgraded to the helmet and earpieces (and taller windscreen) to help with driver communication in general. All have helped. They could still use a little more low end bass but what sound system couldn't?! Overall very pleased.

I wanted an inexpensive way to make me more mobile on my bike. i.e. be able to make phone calls and take calls while riding, and also be able to listen to music.

Recently upgraded to a Shoei GT-Air & wanted to leave my original Interphone speakers installed in my Nolan N-85. This kit will provide better sound quality & allow me to use the Interphone 5MC in both helmets.

Custom fit for my Shoei J-Cruise
Richard L on Jul 3, 2015
If I decide to purchase the Shoei J-Cruise I've ordered, this will upgrade what I expect to the already good F5MC unit and offer the option of a reduced size microphone and superior audio quality. The Interphone main unit has all the features of best of SENA and Cardo, etc units...plus...and because...it's waterproof, has FM and I can plug my iPod with 27000 tunes directly into it.

I needed a third helmet install kit to allow me to swap my 2nd intercom between my wife's and my son's helmets. At least, that was what pushed me over the edge. I like the model-specific fit and the streamlined microphone for my Shoei Neotech.

I have a rather loud street glide and have just brought inter phone f5mc off you guys and it is no way loud enough . Will this do the trick ??
Kelly O on Jul 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have a rather loud street glide also....I ride with an iPhone and a GT Air. Mine is plenty loud for me. Also there is a setting that you want to make sure you have the f5mc set to. Actually to loud sitting still with no bike. Need to be running to be comfortable. Hope this helps some.
Does this product come with everything I need to take it out of the box and be ready to use or do I need to buy addition equipment for it to be functional?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The headset comes with everything you need, left and right speakers, 2 styles of mic, and 2 styles of mounting brackets. All you need is your interphone f5mc and your ready to go. I have to say these speaker sound awesome.
does this unit have next, pause and volume buttons?
Miketech18 on Apr 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have been using the F5MC for about a year now and generally love it. It is very easy to use and has next, previous, pause and volume for all sources. I went ahead and got the premium upgrade to the speakers and they are better than the stock speakers but honestly not by a huge margin. The sound is very good generally but of course you won't get the amazing bass response that you would from a good set of earbuds. Sound wise that is my only complaint. The unit has a novice mode that speaks the commands as you push them so you can't get lost in the controls. You can disable that mode when you are ready but I have left it on to date and it doesn't bug me. I have made many phone calls from this and routinely people can't believe that I am on the bike. The noise canceling is that good. I highly recommend the F5MC.
How does it work? Could I use it to communicate with another player on team or does it have to have 2 smartphones?
A shopper on Aug 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You can communicate with another device that has been paired with your device. Are you talking about playing a game or just talking to another person?
Does anyone know if this fits well in a Shoei RF-1100? Thanks for your time!
A shopper on Jul 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It fits the 1200 so I would guess it would fit the 1100 too. The wires were just barely long enough though.
Does it fit to the F3mc Unit?
A C on Dec 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It looks like the F3 has a different charging input, which doubles as the speaker/mic jack. I do think this would work for the F4. But if you are a tinkerer I am sure you could splice it into the f3 style jack.
Do i have to have the blutooth device or is there a headphone jack to plug into?
A shopper on Oct 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You have to use it with the Interphone F5MC.
What is the best Interphone Pro sound for a HJC modular helmet?
A shopper on Mar 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not sure about HJC as I use this product on a Shoei GT Air. However, I am extremely pleased with the sound quality of this system. The bass response is louder and much improved without typical distortion in that frequency range. Overall, worth the upgrade in my opinion.
