A very stylish glove that falls short due to Icon's Quality Control
I purchased the Icon Pursuit Stealth Gloves after being so impressed with how they looked. I have a preference for minimalism, so I immediately gravitated toward the Pursuit Stealths due to their overall look. Now that I have received the item I must say that looks aren't everything!

On the outside the gloves feel amazing. They are short-cuff and best for summer riding, and feature hard reinforcement around the knuckles and on the tops of the fingers. The gloves are fastened via Velcro, and also have a small metal button so that they may be clipped together when they are not being worn. I must say, as with any leather product, the gloves smell amazing. Nothing beats the smell of new motorcycle gear!

The first thing I noticed is that the gloves extremely tightly (as to be expected with any leather product, as they must break in). However, I used the Icon size chart which suggested a medium due to my hand measurement and these gloves were still comically small when I went to put them on. Another disappointing factor is the interior seam at the fingertips, which feels extremely stiff and will likely be uncomfortable until at least broken in (if it does break in).

Finally I must comment on my biggest gripe with Icon. This would have been my third pair of Icon gloves, and I have noticed that the stitching on the gloves is the biggest weak point. These Pursuit Stealth gloves were shipped to me (brand new) with some of the stitching already starting to come undone on the palm of the item. If this is anything like my Icon Twenty-Niner gloves, the stitching will unravel extensively after about 10-15 rides and the gloves will start to fall apart. Oddly enough, I own a second pair of Twenty-Niner gloves which are holding together just fine. I chalk this all up to poor quality control from Icon.

Please note that I returned my gloves due to many different reasons and did not give them the proper "break-in" period that most leather gear requires. However, due to the above-mentioned reasons I simply cannot recommend these gloves to anyone for their current price. They look amazing, but for the $75 price point I'd pick up a pair of SMX-2s as you get twice the glove at five dollars less.

Very disappointed Icon where'd the snaps go?
I bought a pair of these gloves years ago when the were only $50 and they were a good glove still kept them as a spare when I switched to the Tourmaster Adventure Gel which was an awesome yet now discontinued glove. Anyway the old Icon Pursuits I had were great and had a snap where you pull the glove on so you could snap them together and prevent loss. So up the price and remove useful features?? Also I ordered an XL and the glove fit was good, but the hardened knuckle must be a one size supposedly fits all now. Out of the four hardened knuckles, they were so small they left my index finger knuckle exposed making its placement very uncomfortable. You can't take protection from a med glove and expect it to work in an XL. I know these gloves have a lot of good reviews, but what they have become and the price increase makes them a poor value and poor market practice for Icon.

Durable Icon staple
I bought these gloves in 2009 and have worn them every year since. No idea how many miles, but I've been in a 70mph lowside with them (they held up well, scuffed the leather but no injury to my hand), ridden around Ecuador with them, and commuted in Ohio and Florida with them. They only just now finally developed a hole in them because I've worn them out because they're just so comfortable.

They fit well and the velcro has held up nicely over the years.

Durable but seems to have short fingers (XL)
I purchased these in XL to replace the Icon Compound Mesh Short Gloves in XL I had returned. The Compound glove fit well, except in the thumb which was at least an inch too long. So far in all other gloves I am an XL, but the Pursuit glove in large seems to have short fingers. The glove fits fine around the palm of the hand, but the fingers get very tight over the knuckles when I clench the bar. Aside from the fit issue, they seem to be quite comfortable and durable. I would have returned them for a larger size, but I assumed they would stretch a bit and break in. They did not.

Works well
I'd say that this is a basic glove. It fits true to size and doesn't have any unpleasant seams. The leather is good quality and with a little more time will start to shape to your hands. The knuckle guard isn't to noticeable during short or long rides and sits well on the knuckles. personally I fund the Velcro closure a little annoying but should hold up well over time.

Overall the glove does what it is designed to do. Keep you protected and enjoying the ride.

Exactly what I wanted, in a way!
I bought the Icon Pursuit Stealth Gloves because living in Upstate New York, it can get quite chilly at times. I don't sweat much so I decided not to get the perforated ones, so there isn't much air flow. Which is what I wanted because I like my hands warm. These are my first real pair of riding gloves so I can really compare to much. The only quark I have with these is the style or look of them, don't get me wrong. I love the look of them but they don't fit tight to my hand. They almost seem a tad baggy around the fingers. I like the look of a nice slim glove. Overall I would most surely recommend them. Great purchase!

Great Purchase
New to the motorcycle community and living in Pennsylvania, I needed to snag gloves that were thick enough to be warm on cooler days but thin enough to be cool on warmer days. These gloves pull that off flawlessly. It is December 22 and I just went for a ride in 45 degree weather. They worked well, hands got a bit chilly but I put a pair of thin undergloves on and I could have handled another 10 degree temp drop.

Great Glove With a Few Small Issues
First things first this is a great glove. It fits....like a glove. Bad jokes aside the fit is great, with a slight precurve to them. They look badass too so that's a plus.

I do have a few gripes however. One they leave ink all over your hands, they are still doing this after 3k miles. Two, they have a tendency to get folded/twisted up while riding Although that could be due to the way I hold the throttle since it only seems to happen on my right hand.

Ups and downs, maybe I have a faulty pair?
I really like the look of these gloves. They also feel great once they broke in. Getting them wet and wearing them around helped a fair bit. It's very easy to get your fingers to the break and clutch, as well relax on the the handle bars.

The negatives, the right glove knuckle protection is completely gone. The left knuckles are still firm and feel protective, but the right are like cooked spaghetti. I'm not sure how this happened. If I'm not wearing the gloves they are in my pocket or stored in my helmet at home. I've ridden about 2k miles with these gloves and they've seen rain and cold (I rode with them some in Alaska), but for the knuckle protection to just vanish seems odd.

for $75 I'd expect better. Because of the fit and comfortable use, I'm torn between trying another set and just moving on.
