My bike pierces eardrums.
I love how loud this horn is! I find myself pressing it for no reason sometimes because 120dB is music to my ears (one of the reasons I'm going deaf). This horn literally wakes people up! The videos of people testing out their horns do it no justice, you have to hear this thing in person.. I literally had one guy jump out of the way when I blasted my horn. Also, I find it really amusing when I use it against drivers who aren't paying attention to the road, it has never failed me.

The product isn't light but that doesn't really matter. The sound quality and the make of the product are great. I had no problem wiring this thing up at all since I had the wiring harness. The only thing though is that I should have gotten the compact horn instead of the split one. Finding a suitable mounting place on my 2015 Ninja 650R was quite difficult (even with the mounting brackets), but hey, I was able to make it work.

Would I buy another one? Yes.
Will I continue to blow my horn for no reason? Yes.
Yes? Yes.

Thanks Revzilla!

Very loud and effective.
This worked out perfect. I don't have enough room under my fairing for a single unit so I bought this split unit. I put the pump under my seat and the horn in the stock location behind the fairing. The only issue was the tubing was too short to reach so I bought a longer piece from my local Home Depot for a couple of bucks.

Great horn - I now look for reasons to wake up zombie drivers
GREAT horn!! Of course purchasing from Revzilla was quick and reliable as usual. I have a Hyosung GV250 cruiser and the stock horn was an embarrassment. It sounded like the Roadrunner Cartoon "Meep Meep" --- horn was useless in traffic and just about any other situation. I bought this as a safety accessory.
I purchased the Plug-n-play wiring kit, too. Installation was incredibly easy. I've never done any wiring of anything and it was a synch. My bike my have been easier than most because I was able to adjust the original horn's mounting bracket to fit the compressor unit so the fit was perfect and the acoustic unit tucked in nicely just below and to the right.
I think this 2 piece unit solves many issues people had with fitment that the single unit presented. The sound of this horn is amazing. It is a substantial sound but it isn't ridiculous. It's kinda like a cross between a '70s era American car horn sound (like a Caddy) but with less notes and a boat horn. It will - and has gotten the - attention of (zombie) drivers that use their vehicles while doing everything else except paying attention to the road and other drivers. Since I avoided tooting my old horn I now have to get used keeping a thumb near the horn button so I'm ready to blast it when needed.

Commands attention!
After having installed this on my 2006 Police Road King for a few months I can honestly say it has done what I expected it to do. Wake up those inattentive cage drivers! Just a short blast makes them notice you. I would say I need to use it practically once a day on my 75 mile round trip commute. Much louder than the wimpy OEM horn and in my opinion worth every penny. Easy to install. I placed the horn where the stock one was and mounted the compressor under the seat in front of the battery. I also purchased the Plug-N-Play Wiring Harness for ease of wiring. Speaking from over 35 years riding experience, I highly recommend this upgrade for any touring or commuter bike!

Easy installation, performs as advertised, ear splittingly loud. This horn is a life saver at busy intersections-clears the intersection.
This is an excellent product. The compressor unit fit nicely under the seat, cabling was clickety click easy. Have had the unit for 2 weeks, has saved my bacon twice already with people turning into my path or crowding my lane.
Highly recommend this horn, like having truck airhorns but in a very small package.

Great Product and Wide Range of Install Options
If you are looking at this specific SoundBomb kit and not the compact one or any of the others, it is likely because you are wanting the flexibility of install location and ability to hide things away. This product absolutely gives you that ability and is a very quality product.

Depending on how you want to install it and just how trick you want to be the install can take as little as 60-90 minutes or as much as a few hours as it did for me since I wanted to hide everything and really dress out the whole kit.

I have a 1985 Kawasaki GPz750 with a full sport bike fairing (think Top Gun Maverick's bike basically) and with a bit of finagling here and there was able to tuck everything inside of the fairing and hide everything so that there is no real evidence of deviating from stock configuration since I was able to adjust and use the original horn mounting locations. IF you take your time you can do some really neat things since the compressor and the actual acoustic unit separate.

Once installed I definitely feel more visible to other motorists and have proven time and again that I can now get anyones attention in a hurry to avert any potential disasters. I would encourage any rider to have something like this for safety and because its a really quality product. I'm including a few pics of the final product once installed.

Must Have... Security first
i've just installed my denali split on my tripleR,
now i'm sure on the highway if i need to use it, they'll hear it!
i've installed the horn the way to remove it if ever i sold my bike in the future, i'll re-install it on my newer bike when the time will come...... so keep all your original bolt and horn in a zip-lock.

just make attention to not use the horn near people or children... it's a realy deep sound!

it's a little more for your security ! upgrade your horn with denali! you never know it could save you from injury....

Booming sound
I was after a horn that would be easy to fit and provide a "real" sound compared to OEM. The Soundbomb certainly fits the bill and when combined with their wiring harness was a breeze to fit.
My KTM 1290 SA now has a horn with the performance ability to fit the rest of the bike.

Just what I wanted
Having two parts meant I could put them where they could be tucked in best instead of a larger bundle that would definitely stick out. Like the loud car horn sound over the measly beep that most bikes get stuck with. I got the plug n play wiring harness also that made it fairly easy. Too much hassle to pull everything out of the way to get the wiring up to the battery so I cut the existing at an out of the way spot and spliced it in. Didn't work when I got done and thought I got the wires crossed but still didn't work. Took it to local shop and they found a better ground but the relay fried. They replaced it with what they said was a better relay and it works great.

Has anyone installed the Split soundbomb on a Yamaha R6? Any suggestions on how to install it and whether you recommend buying the kit with the wires?
Aldo M on Aug 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have installed this on my Yamaha r6 the horn is in the factory location but I did have to fabricate my own bracket I also mounted the compressor on the left side under the faring directly under the radiator hose being that it's all sport bike you are limited to the amount of space you have when installing, the air hose make sure the fan blades do not rub against the hose when engine is running
I know you guys have been playing around a lot with the XSR900 -- have you (or has anyone) installed the split Denali on an XSR, and if so, what were your mounting points & brackets used?
Will Z on Jan 23, 2017
Has anyone mounted this to a 2012 Suzuki V-Strom yet? If so I would like to hear how the installation went. Thanks
A shopper on Jul 24, 2015
Is there any lag from the time you press the horn button to producing sound especially with the compressor farther from the horns?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: My horn is mounted in front of the radiator and the compressor under the passenger seat, I even had to go to the auto parts store for a longer hose and there is no delay at all. I have had this horn for over a year now and am still loving it. I do recomend the install kit to make the install easier.
A friend and I installed this on his bike and upon using the horn it just kind of buzzed. I'm curious if you have to leave the bike on for a bit or ride it around till pressure builds?
Aron M on Apr 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Ours immediately blew as soon as it had power. The air compressor needs to have a clear punch to the horn without losing air pressure. Buzzing might mean a pinch in your air tube.
Will it fit my 2016 BMW F800 GS Adventure?
A shopper on Mar 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Can't be sure since I have the 800GT. On the GT it replaced the original horn perfectly and the compressor mounted into the left side faring. There is a shelf already built into the fairing. The only drilling needed was two holes for the compressor wiring to pass through shelf already built into the fairing and becomes almost invisible. Wire compressor directly to battery.
Will this fit using the Denali Soundbomb Air Horn Mount for the Triumph Tiger 800/XC 2010-2014? I know that it was designed to fit the all in one unit, but not sure if the mounting bracket holes will align with the detached compressor unit?
A shopper on Jul 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I think that the mounting bracket (arm) is intended for the horn (trumpet) component. The compressor (the can shaped item) would typically be mounted under the seat in a separate space.

I cannot be certain of this as I don't have the bracket in front of me. This is a guess on my part.
Is this horn deep like a train horn or more high pitched?
A C on Jan 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would say it’s more of a midrange sound. I watched a YouTube video to hear the tone.
Will this fit on a 2002 Kawasaki Nomad 1500?
Anthony P on Oct 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: With a little work I was able to make it fit inside the fairings of a Kawasaki Concours 1400. I am sure you can find ways to make it fit the Nomad. You can place the compressor in one location and the horn in another.
What is the best model to install in a truck ?
A shopper on May 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This horn should be good in a truck as well as a motorcycle because it is loud. However considering that you have a lot more mounting options in a truck you may want to consider other air horn designs.
