Sporty summer pants
This is a very nice, sporty and stylish pair of summer pants. The fit is slightly small, but I was happily surprised to find a good fit as I am slightly out of proportion and have issues with other moto pants (large thighs relative to other waist & leg parts after years of velodrome cycling).
These pants appear to be very well made. I love the 3/4 connecting zipper for to my jacket (all previous pants had only an 8" rear zipper), and this feels much more secure.
The pockets are useful for a thin wallet, which is a practical improvement for Dainese.
The knee & shin protection feels substantial and locked in place. I wish there was hip padding, but that is a minor quibble. The cordura feels quite substantial if I ever slide on it.
Concerning use in warm conditions, I am comparing them to Olympia Airglide 3 & 4 pants from 60k+ miles and daily commuting in several Texas Gulf Coast summers with 95+ temps and similar humidity. The Mig's airflow cannot compare to the Olympia pants, which are nearly 100% loose fitting mesh. The Migs have limited perceived airflow in the thighs and zero airflow in the knee/shin, but I still stay comfortable, and not too different from the all-over mesh of the Olympias. The armor in these tighter pants feels much more secure than the looser Olympia overpants, where I was always afraid it would shift if I went down. That cooling/security is a positive tradeoff to me.
Ingress/Egress is easy with the calf zipper.
As for the style, these are perfect for me, and match my few-year-old Air Frazer jacket.
One final issue: I also have the newest Dainese boots, and the pant zipper and boot zipper line up perfectly, creating a pressure hot spot on the back of my leg. Loosening the boot's Velcro has improved that, but I wish Dainese would have offset one of the zippers.

Test fit
It’s winter here in IN so I just tried them on. I’m 5’11” and 185lbs. The size 50 fits perfect. They look good and are comfortable straight out of the box. I just wish the had hip protection or at least a pocket for some.

HOT WEATHER GOODNESS
Great Riding Pants! Very Comfortable and Looks Great. Dainese hit the nail on the head with these pants, I personally wouldn't take them on a track day, but for a hard core canyon twisty session amazing. Even for a long 10hr riding session they were very comfortable from begging to end. Flows so much air and the fit is very nice.

Thanks Dainese!
I have been waiting for Dainese to update the Fraiser pants and they did it with the MIGs. I wish they had a bit more protection but I do love them already. My only real complaint is I wish they would have made them to accommodate in-boots, but I can't have everything. These are some seriously bad ass summer pants.

Good Alternative to leathers for the Street
I'll temper this review by saying I've only worn these once so far. I sized up from my usual 54 to a 56 as I have Dainese two piece leathers that I found to be a bit short torso wise and made it hard to move comfortably on the bike. I wear a 36x34 in jeans, and the 56 here is super loose around the waist even tightened as best it can be. The pants are obviously a bit large when standing around, but I've found that for me on the bike the fitment become spot on. The knees are actually over the knees, and the jacket and pants combo doesn't feel like it's choking me out when I go to hang off.

The flow is as good (maybe better) as my regular Alpinestars mesh pants, and certainly better than my leathers, but not quite as good as I'd been hoping. The trade off there is that this is some heavy duty mesh that should take a good beating before giving way.

The lack of hip protection is a bit disappointing, especially for the price point. For what it costs, you know you're going to be sacrificing some protection for air flow, I see no reason they couldn't have had at least pockets for hip pads.

That all said, the key take away is that you get the breathability and airflow of mesh with much more protection. I wouldn't say it rivals my leathers for actual protection, but probably closer to them than it is to say textiles.

Great summer pants!
I've been waiting for these pants for months. They finally came in! I picked up an Air Frazer jacket at the Dainese store in San Fran and wanted pants to go with. They zip together perfectly, and have excellent airflow. The pockets are brilliant! My iPhone 7 plus fits easily.

They very comfortable on my SV650S in the tuck position , and the protection feels good. For cooler Weather, I have a pair of Dainese EVO pants, and these are great as my summer goto pants.

First Wear Impression
Just received mine today along with the Mig Jacket (reviewed separately), and took it for a spin in 87* F weather. Just the sort of riding weather I bought this gear for. I'm 5'11", 175lbs 35" belly button waist, 32" inseam and I went with a size 50.

Bang for the Buck: Got these on sale with the jacket, and so I consider them a decent value at this price. There's not a ton of options for aggressively-styled summer-weather pants as much protection as these pants.
Protection and Durability: I'm giving Dainese the benefit of the doubt for durability here since I just got it. I feel like the substantial knee/shin armor will do great if I impact those areas, but I'm concerned about the lack of hip armor without the option of even adding it easily. Also, there's no reinforcement or added material in the seat area. There's also a distinct lack of reflectivity on the legs.
Features: Other than the aforementioned lack of reflectivity and pocket for hip armor, there aren't any other glaring missing features on these pants. The zip-out liner is nice to have even if its not 100% waterproof. I feel like the button closure at the waist is not that strong, though it did not pop open on me during my. The waist adjusters are a nice touch eliminating the need for a belt, and the 360* connection zipper is nice to have.
Comfort: Relatively speaking, these are not as comfortable as my other pants but those are a pair of Dainese D1 Evo jeans and Rokker Riding Chinos, but of which are significantly more casually styled and designed for in use. Considered for their intended purpose, these are comfortable enough that I will not mind wearing them and will probably be my go-to pants on very hot days. But there are some comfort issues to point out:
-I'm just going to say it: As with my D1 Evo Jeans, the height of the knee/shin armor doesn't permit easy #2's. Either they come all the way off, or you deal with it until such time that you can take them all the way off.
-Removal: I may figure out a way around this but during the half dozen or so times I've taken these off, my foot has gotten caught between the armor and leg opening zipper (unzipped). I point my toes down and put my leg straight up, but my feet catch every single time. Just an odd quirk, might just be me.
-Walking around, you definitely know the knee/shin armor is there. Unlike with my D1 Evo jeans (which have similarly shaped armor), this armor sits right up against the leg due to the slimmer design. On the bike, the position of the armor is perfect.
-They definitely do breathe better than my Rokkers and D1 Evo jeans.
Style: More so than the jacket, I see myself only ever wearing these with the Mig Jacket, and no other jackets in my current collection. They are just too aggressively styled to be worn with anything else other than a sport-oriented top. And again more so than with the jacket, my footwear choices are limited to only my TCX X-Square boots. These are my first pair of such aggressively styled pants and so I'll have to get used to the inevitable attention/stares that I'll get wearing pants with protruding knee armor I suppose.
Fit: Fit is so subjective depending on tastes but for me personally, given I like a snug fit in my gear, it fit true for me. Length was spot on and I'm not showing ankle during riding, and the waist adjustability is great for me (a bit of breathing room with adjusters right in the middle). They are definitely not going to be a slip-on/slip-off pair of pants like jeans or full mesh pants though. Admittedly when I was shopping for summer gear, what I wanted was something that I would be able to throw on and get off in a few seconds because I hate fiddling with gear when its/I'm hot, but ultimately I went with these for the protection and value.
Air Flow: Again the only comparison I have are my Rokker Riding Chinos and Dainese D1 Evo jeans, and these obviously flow air better than those. That said its not the tornado of air that I was expecting with those mesh panels, even at speed, but its much better than what I was using for warm weather gear.
