Dainese MIG C2 Gloves

The Dainese Mig C2 Gloves have racing-inspired style to spare but are extremely comfortable. They are made of resistant cowhide and the palms are reinforced with synthetic suede. Protection and safety are covered thanks to polyurethane inserts over the knuckles and by soft inserts on the thumb and little finger. Other features such as adjustable wrists, pre-curved fingers and mesh inserts complete the package.

Protection:

  • Polyurethane inserts on the knuckles
  • Certified to CE - Cat. II - Pr-EN 13594/2010 lev. 1

Main Materials:

  • Cowhide leather
  • Synthetic palm
  • Reinforced palm

Ergonomics and Comfort:

  • Pre-curved finger
  • Adjustable cuff strap
  • Mesh fabric inserts
  • Soft inserts

Note: Black/Black/Black gloves are all black on the back of the fingers as seen in the video, not anthracite as seen in the photograph.

Nice gloves with a couple big flaws.
First, these gloves look awesome. They have all the right padding in all the right places. They come with the solid knuckle protection and the leather palms.

The straps could be better, as is they don't exactly hug the wrist and I feel that if the glove itself weren't so snug they would just fall off.

Now the two big flaws.

First, there is a gigantic stitch right at the base of the inner part of the thumb where the padding meets leather and every time you grip, especially the handlebars, that stitch just digs into you. I was afraid I had a blister after only an hour ride, and I know it would turn into a blister had I ridden for several hours like I normally do.

Second, the material inside the glove is some sort of black felt and it comes off in droves. I took my hands out of the gloves and they were covered in black specks from the material rubbing off.

At $90, these problems are kind of pathetic. I have much cheaper Fox gloves that don't have any problems. If Dainese could solve these two issues then these gloves would be an easy 5 star from me, but as is I would never recommend them.

Excellent protection
I just recently got into an accident that had me high side and slide. I made it out just fine and these gloves saved the skin of my hands. It would have been real ugly had i not been wearing them. I DEFINITELY recommend these to anyone looking for a well fitting and durable set of gloves

Nice product
The fit is as expected. The gloves are comfortable and have a very nice grip. You feel protected but they'll never feel as if they would be getting in your way.

Why average, but not recommended.
The biggest gripe with these gloves is the excess inside material and stitching!!!

There's a spot on the inside of your thumb where it meets the palm where there's excess inside stitching that will DIG into your hand when you're riding.

It's minimal on the left hand, but it's really annoying and uncomfortable on the right hand. I tried to cut off some of that inner excess material and stitching, but to no avail.

Hopefully when the gloves wear in more, that part of the glove will get better, but I doubt it. If I could have tried out these gloves before I bought it, I would have thought twice.

Nice, snug fit and a great looks for a glove that embraces both sporty feel and casual comfort
The glove looks and feels great, and I actually think the leather is better than what my +200 dollar sport gauntlets from Dainese offers.
Airflow is great. The only flaw is that whenever you use the index finger to open the velcro strap, the velcro will tear the mesh fabric in the tip of the fingers. I love the glove, and expect to solve this issue by just sewing on a protective piece of fabric in that particular area.

great gloves for the money
I had done a lot of searching for some summer leather gloves. after trying a bunch of different ones I finally settled on this. I couldn't be happier. I usually buy XL in Dainese as i have other Gloves from Dainese and Rev'it. But in this glove, i bought a Large instead. its a perfect fit with no clumping at the palm. It feels a bit snug at first but after a few hours of break in they feel amazing. I have used this on cold days on my GS and in the summer in 80+ degree weather. It feels just right. The air flow is quite good through the gloves if you need it to. I used it in cold weather riding as well because i have hand guards and heated grips, but for true COLD weather riding, look at something else.

Overall i give this KUDOS for a great Dainese glove for under $100 bucks. It matches my other dainese gear so I can look Like a power ranger. I Like it and highly recommend it.

Love these gloves, great fit and comfort with solid protection!
Bought these gloves a few months ago and haven't had a single issue with them. They run a little bigger than some others but not enough to really be a concern. There's solid protection in the knuckles and the padding on the palms is OK. I particularly like that these gloves are vented well enough to be worn on really warm days (70+) but also solid enough to be worn on cooler days (40-50s)

Good Protection and style for the price
These gloves aren't anything super special, but for the price, they're better than the competition.

I like the hard knuckles, because I believe they'd be beneficial in a crash and even when not in a crash, that they'd be able to dish out some gnarly damage to some idiots nose.

The graphics on the palm side of the fingers like to rub off, which is kind of saddening, but not that big of a deal. Some stitching is starting to show and I've had these less than a month.

The airflow is great, too good for the very early spring. My hands get unbelievably cold and by the time I get from my house to work or vice versa, they can be numb and I'll have to warm them over the exhaust. Obviously, thats only for cold days, and these gloves aren't winter gloves regardless. They do great in warm weather.

I'd say overall, these are awesome gloves for the price, and they beat the competition. Enough said. Pick em up, highly recommended.

Great glove that replaced my Alpinestars GPX
It took about 50 - 100 hours (about 2 weeks daily) to break in, but they're one of the best fitting gloves I've had. My thumbs are normally smaller than all the gloves I've had in the past, like the GPX. These gloves however, have the perfect thumb fit.

The most annoying part was spending the two to break it in, especially hating the seams near the pinky, however those areas have stretched perfectly well.

A note on the temperature range, I live in Las Vegas, and 90+ dry weather, the gloves get a tad warm. They don't flow air as nice as I want when on the handlebars, but sticking them in the wind cools my hands down OK. The lowest temperature I would take it would be 65. Anywhere lower and heat starts really leaking out.
