Stylish boot that rides well
The Dainese Cooper Boot is a great looking boot on and off the bike. I have warn this boot for hour long rides and proceeded to walk around for hours more with them being very comfortable!

The leather feels solid and the ankle protection is just in the right place. The soles are very solid with not to much flex / play to them, along with substantial grip in wetter conditions though I wouldn't recommend riding with these in the rain being they are made of leather and not waterproof.

The boots did with a few days of hard use, break in. Only a few hot spots because of stiff leather and technical construction seams at the heel and over the top of the foot where the tongue connects to the body of the boot. This definitely chewed my foot up in those areas until broken in.

All and all I am very satisfied with these boots and how they are working out.

good shoe for office work
I purchased these shoes so that I could wear them at work and not have to bring a second pair of shoes for meetings. They absolutely look fantastic, should have gotten a size bigger as the insoles are very thin (cheap), replaced the insole with a gel and they feel great to walk around in all day.

Comfortable, good looking boot, but the soles are really cheap
I've had these boots for about 2 riding seasons now and the soles have worn down incredibly fast. I've put about 7-10k miles in these boots and for something that costs $200, that's horrible in my mind.

Had i known the durability of the bottom of these when i bought them, I probably would have bought something else, like RedWings with similar style and better durability.

Don't Buy
Nice looking boot but everything about them were sub-par. The leather felt very thin and imitation like. The boots did not age well or have a nice patina. The leather did not polish or oil well either. The soles wore out out extremely fast. The leather laces that came with the boot constantly came untied. They were comfy, but that's about it.

The Perfect Boot for all Day Riding and Comfort
I purchased my Cooper's at the Dainese Store in Chicago just because they had 1 pair in my size. Normally I purchase all my Dainese gear from Revzilla. Once I tried them on they felt like they were made for my feet. I wear size 43 in Dainese. Hardly any hot spots or stiff spots. This is the perfect boot for my feet. These were made to fit american feet especially in the toe area. Very stylish and comfortable to wear all day. This boot is perfect for riding to your local hangout and walking around without clomping around and being uncomfortable. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who rides a Naked Bike, Cruiser, Cafe, or especially the new Ducati Scrambler!

Good looking Boot but Not for me
I bought these because I liked the way they looked and hoped that they would fit well too. I was disappointed when I got them and tried them on for the first time. The footbed was pretty narrow. I dont consider my feet to be overly wide but when I put the boot on and stood up the edges of the boot were bulging with my foot inside. The other thing that made me decide to return them was the fact that the insole and inner sole of the boot had a rise on the outer edge of the foot that would have made these boots very uncomfortable to wear for any length of time let alone walk in them. Im not saying these are terrible boots, I never wore them for more then 10 minutes around the house. They just didnt fit my feet well and I wanted to get that out there.

Sole broke within a year
I didn’t use them much and within a year the front part of the sole had split right through from normal use. Contacted Dainese and they said it was excessive wear which was untrue.

I really liked them but boots with holes are not much use, I don’t think they get much rain in Italy....

Stylish and warm
I'm a woman who bought these men's shoes because they were better looking than many of the women's shoes. The styling is great - I would honestly wear them off the bike as readily as on.

On a recent 4 day moto trip, I wore these every day after very little time breaking them in and had no trouble - they were very comfortable and my feet didn't blister.

They do run a bit narrow and a bit small, so I'd say to size up and wear thick socks in the winter.

I rated them low for air flow, but that is because they kept my feet very warm, which is exactly what I wanted for winter riding.

great boot but the sole may melt
The looks great and is pretty comfortable. The top can push into your ankle/calf a little due to how rigid the sides are. The sole is incredible quiet and soft. If your foot rests on anything that gets warm then the sole will melt due to how soft it is. This is a problem on BMW F800R's where the exhaust goes past the heel of the left foot. There's a metal guard that gets decently warm but hasn't been an issue with any shoes prior to using the Dainese Cooper Boots.
