It saved me
I had just bought this suit three weeks before my accident and was impressed initially when I got it by the quality. I went down at over 70+mph in a turn in which my bike impacted the guardrail and I impacted my bike and the guardrail. This suit saved me big time. The first thing that hit was my left shoulder and arm, then left knee when the bike went out from underneath me. I slid across the pavement for a good bit. The suit has two small rips in it but according to a friend that was behind me it's the hardest impact he's ever seen and he literally thought I was knocked out or was never going to get up...
If it wasn't for this suit I would still be laying in a hospital bed probably on my way to get skin grafts done. The best part is I have no injuries except for a bruise or two and I can reuse the suit after some mending. Well done Cortech, well done.

Great for larger riders or supermoto
I have been looking for a comfortable one piece for quiet some time now.
To start I am 5'9 220lbs with 46in. Chest, 36in waist and 30in inseam. So I don't exactly fall into any clear size catagory for a euro cut suit.
After watching the reviews on the site and trying on a Latigo 2.0 at a shop I found the size LG fit perfectly. Keep in mind that's a perfect fit for supermoto, so a little large for sportbike.
Crotch to neck is a good length and it is comfortable to stand up In all day. There is also a good range of motion in the arms/shoulders.
The suit flows air very well and I've never felt overly hot on track days in 85-90deg weather(while riding).
The built in liner + UnderArmour make it easy to take off, even when sweating.
Downsides- the nylon paneling around the arms and legs doesn't stretch very much and I feel could flow more air.
-Needs smaller pockets for the shoulder and knee armor. They tend to twist and not line up correctly when putting on the suit.
-Slightly more durable liner, mine ripped at the hip pad the 3rd time I put it on.

Overall I feel it is a great sub $800 suit, for what I need it to do, and I would recommend the Latigo or Adrenaline to anyone that has issuse getting a proper fit with the euro cut suits.

Good but with faults
he suit feels like it's made from quality material, and when worn it fits snug, a bit to snug for my liking. It breathes very well and doesnt get hot when worn unless you're not moving and its hot out that day, so that's a major bonus.

I had a big issue with his suit after wearing it 2 imes though. The zipper broke apart, not the zipper track but the zipper itself. I ended up getting a better zipper put on it from a seamstress and now the suit works fine. I suspect it was just a weak zipper and that why i broke. I doubt it's ambiguous through all of these suits.

A Great Entry Level Suit
I low sided in the dirt off the track in this suit at around 50-60mph and walked away without a scratch. The leather was barely scuffed and the hard armor saved my elbow and knee. This suit also breathes extremely well. I would definitely recommend this suit to anyone looking for something entry level for the occasional track day. My only gripe is that it comes in a super generous American cut. I'm 5'10'' 155lbs and have a small. I am able to fit pants a hoodie and a back protector under my suit. Other than that it is an excellent suit.

Good Value
Better than expected for the price. Great track day suit. I am 5'11" and weight 195. I have a 33 inch inseam. The XL suit I purchased fits perfectly. I would not have much room if I add weight but can tell it would still fit well if I lose weight. I did think the legs were a little short but as I tuck them in my boots it was no issue.for reference I have a 36 inch waste.

Great race suit for the buck
I bought this as my first race suit for the track. Unfortunately on my first track day I wrecked however, the suit did a fantastic job of protecting me! I got up with no scratches, bruises, fractures, etc. and was able to continue riding the rest of the track day after the techs inspected my bike. I was initially was concerned that for the lower price the suit wouldn't hold up as well after a wreck but, after inspecting it I found that the it doesn't have any tears/holes and all the CE rated armor is still in the right places. Since then I have gone back to the track several times and the suit still hasn't shown any major signs of wear. It has continued to hold up very well.

As far as the fitment goes, it's very comfortable. I am able to shift my body into different positions while I'm riding the bike and there are no signs of discomfort or restrictions. Cortech offers a lot of different sizes and the Gear Geeks at Revzilla assisted me in choosing the right size based on the body measurements I provided them with. Additionally, the suit has plenty of ventilation and allows for plenty of airflow even on the really hot track days where temperature exceeds 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Thus keeping me cool and comfortable.

Overall I am very content with the purchase! Cortech has done a great job of making a complete race suit that includes sufficient protection and comfort features with a reasonable price tag. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to start attending track days and would like to start with a durable with a great bang for the buck!

Great Looks and Value, a little snug
So far I am happy with this purchase especially at this price point. At 5,8" 140 I chose the small as its dimensions more closely resembled my own. When standing straight it pulls very tight in the crotch however its not so bad when actually riding on the bike.

My Commuting Suit ... Tampa, FL
I’ve been riding scooters small/maxi since college, I’m 47 now, and I decided to get my first motorcycle about 4-weeks ago (was planning on getting the BMW C650GT), but at last minute went with 2017 Kawasaki Concours 14. Being a contractor, software development, if I don’t work, I don’t get paid, I decided I needed some type of protection, even if I’m running to the corner store, you can’t predict when/where you’ll hit the pavement; hence, even if I’m running to the corner store, I got my suit on! I guess when you get in your 40’s, you really don’t gaf about what other people think of how you’re living and protecting your so precious life.

Here’s the gear I brought:

5’10”
30” inseam
195-lbs
44 hips
37.5 waist
40 chest

Cortech Latigo RR 2.0 1-Piece Race Suit (Color: White/Black/Red / Size: LG)

Alpinestars Nucleon KR-1i Back Protector Insert - Large (way too big for suit, I had to cut it down to size; make sure you get a smaller size to fit properly)

ALPINESTARS Alpinestars Bionic Freeride Shorts - 2X (I have big thighs and it took a few rides for shorts to stretch out)

The suit fits snug but I love the fit; I wear spandex shorts and sport t-shirt underneath; I throw my clothes in the saddlebags and undress/dress in the stalls at work; yeah I’m that good at changing in/out the suit; it takes under 4 - 5-minutes to get fully undress and dressed in business casual attire); I can put suit on in under a minute. Starting naked, I can put on spandex shorts, alpine star shorts, t-shirt, socks, Cortech suit and Joe Rocket Atomic boots on within 3-minutes. I figure an extra few minutes suiting up today might one day save wasting an extra few days/weeks in the hospital.

Riding in mid-80’s, the suit flows air well and I’m not sweating that bad to when I reach my destination, I’m in need of a shower. As long as your riding, air flows fine ... in rush hour traffic, I stay in the middle lane, keep about 10-15 mph speed, so that I’m always moving forward ... yeah people will jump lanes in front of you, but where they going to go, it’s rush hour traffic going nowhere, ??, that’s a good commuting technique to keep you and your bike from having to come to a complete stop. In cold weather, 40’s and 50’s, I wear a light sports jacket underneath suit to stay warm. Sometimes I throw a winter coat over the suit too; high 40’s.

The suit is very comfortable... it’s like a second skin to me; i just feel comfortable and safe within the suit; and don’t worry too much about falling, the suit gives me peace of mind so that I can enjoy the ride better.

The only gripe I have about the suit is the ‘calf zipper’ the material that supports the zipper, the threading and material have come apart; since it’s noy a safety issue; there’s leather underneath, I’ve yet to return to have the issue fixed. I thought I’ll wait just in case any other warranty issues pop up.

My one-way commute is about 37-miles, 5-days a week, and I’ve been wearing the suit for the past 3700+ miles, no real issues so far.

I can’t comment if the crashworthiness of the suit, but overall, it’s a good entry-level commuting suit for me and meets my needs well.

I think I’m the only one that wears a racing suit during their morning commute to work in the Tampa Bay Area. Crazy, huh?

Very Pleased
I have been riding around with a Aerostich R3 and a helite vest on top. Ninja 300 for recreational use only on empty twisting country roads.

I wanted a suit that offered protection and offered more gymnastic flexibility as my cornering skills evolve.

This suit fits very well, has decent armor, and fits very comfortably. I am cool in the suit at relatively slow speeds on very hot days in the shade. It provides for free movement on the saddle as I start getting more athletic in my weight shifting.

I still wear the Helite airbag over it, and the racing hump shaping foam can be removed from inside the suit to collapse the hump, and provide a better fit of the vest over the suit.

If you wear the suit in stock form, I would add a better stand alone back protector and perhaps some armored base layer shorts for more robust hip protection.

Very pleased with this suit.
