Looks great, but didn't last
Installation was very easy in my 2015 Vulcan S. There's enough space behind the headlamp to accommodate the fan. The ballast (which is very small) I could have zip tied with the other cables and keep it out of sight. The light is much brighter than the stock halogen bulb. In the stock reflector housing the light is not blinding - the reflector creates a sharp cutoff line to keep the light from blinding traffic ahead of me.

After 7 months the low beam LED started flickering occasionally. After 8 months the low beam LED would turn on and then off and not turn on again. The high beam would still stay on which allowed me to get home that day, but once I was home I put in my halogen bulb and shipped this bad boy back to Revzilla.

I'm getting another one because the light is so much better, and even with the LED bulbs I buy for home I sometimes get a bad one, but overall my experience with LED's in general is great.

Great Product - Tricky Install
My wife bought this LED upgrade for me when the PIAA bulb the previous owner put in failed. The install was a bit of a trick because I had to feed the retaining clip between the heat sink and metal collar as I inserted the light into the socket, but after that it was smooth sailing. I do notice a lot of static listening to weaker radio stations with my Sena 20S, I believe it is due to the DC-DC transformer not being well-shielded. Not enough to make me write a bad review though. Light pattern is awesome, and I haven't been flashed by cars' high beams, so I'm not blinding anyone using the stock reflector housing.

LED conversion kiy
the kit is simple, but making it fit in the stock sportster housing is not easy. there isnt really a place to place the little box on the harness so i just had to shove it under the head light hood and hope the sticky pads hold it in place. ive had it on for 3 months and i really like it. big diffrence from the stock H4 bulb.

Great light!
Just installed this light and loving the enhanced visibility over the stock bulb. Still have use of the high beam which on some LED/HID bulbs you lose that feature. Not with this kit. I could not be happier and it is pretty much plug and play.

not entirely universal
i never got them going. There's extra wiring and a ballast that would not work with my tiger explorer. Also, the bulb is long in the back, another fitment issue. If you have the room, these very well may be the bee's knees, i never hooked up the wiring so i cannot testify as to the brightness. Revzilla is awesome and my return is going without a hitch.

I figured it out
With the installation on my bike, I just took the metal fitment sleeve and put it on the other side of the bulb; thus, moving the bulb further into the light assembly which then slimmed up the fan so the light fit in the housing comfortably. This LED is at least 6times brighter than the stock H4 bulb the bike had. Hopefully, I did everything correctly and won't have any issues with it! Fitment on a 09 hyosung gv650 SE sport cruiser.

Great upgrade for 11 Fat Boy Lo
Easy and affordable upgrade for any Fatboy owners. No issues fitting to stock lamp assy. Bulb fan does not hit the back of the lamp housing. Took about 10 mins to get situated on bike and looks great.

Surprisingly great!
When I ordered this, it was because I couldn't see more than 20 feet on my 97 Kawasaki ZZR600 with the halogen headlight in it. I figured it was probably due to the fact that the bike is 20 years old and the light projection wasn't as well designed as it is now. I figured "It probably won't make my headlight super-bright, but maybe I'll at least be able to ride at night." I was wrong. It is like a completly different bike, and I can see as far as I can in my car with the high beam on. The light is a clear white and looks much better than the hallogen yellow. The only downside I've seen is that the low beam light doesn't cut off as sharp as a halogen, so others may think you always have your high beam on. I don't think I'd buy it as an "upgrade" if I could already see well (I'd just save the money and get a custom HID kit), but if you have a headlight that you can't see as well as you'd like with, and you don't have the money for a full HID kit, get this!

Pretty bright.
Works well in my FZ-07. Only a couple minor complaints. It's a bit of a tight fit, it does rub a little on the bar behind the light, but that's because of the cooling fan attached to it. It was an easy install, the low beam stays on with the high beam so there is a fair amount of output, not sure the high beam does as much as one from a regular halogen bulb, but with the low beam on as well you do see a lot ahead of ya. I wish I would of tried a better halogen bulb before purchasing this though. I'm sure this would be great in other bikes, but I wouldn't recommend it for the FZ-07 honestly.

Easy To Install
After having this for a about a month the light is already flickering. Not sure if its gonna die on me or not I really hope not. Hi Beam really doesn't do anything haha. Its all about that running light. Best to get an HID 8000k Blue Bulb

To hopefully have a brighter headlight and be safer riding at dark
CHARLES E on May 1, 2017
The headlight on my husband's R3 burned out (previous owner replaced it with a PIAA light which failed in less than 4,000 miles) and he wanted to replace it with an LED bulb. This brand seems to have good reviews and the integrated heat sink and cooling fan indicate that the designers know how to design a bulb to last. Worth a try for the price!

read up on lights and HID may be better than LED.
ErnieC on Mar 17, 2016
I chose this item because a Light Emitting Diode (LED) is actually brighter, uses less energy than Xenon, and is less sensitive to opposing driver's eyes. For my motorcycle, it is $295 for a Xenon kit, whereas I can do less work with less parts and have a better result with more emitting light.

So is this a high AND low beam, or just one OR the other?
A shopper on Oct 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The H4 bulb traditionally is listed as a duel filament bulb so if this is a direct replacement but in LED then its both. Also This bulb shows 2 different lumens which is indicative of a dual beam. Lastly all other manufacturers of this style that make LED H4's make them as high and low beams.
Do I need to do any modification on a 2012 BMW R1200 GS to fit a BikeMaster LED Headlight Conversion Kit?

thank you
Alberto C on Sep 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This bulb has a fan mounted on the back. The 2012 BMW R1200 GS has a dust cap that covers the bulb and wiring harness itself. Based off the dimensions of the bulb I don't think they won't fit. The fans stick out roughly 2 inches from the base of the bulb. If you were able to make a hole big enough and not destroy the integrity of the dust cap. This is a big if. I have a set and they say you cant use if a dust cover is being used.
Do i need any modification on 2015 HD Street Bob or it's a direct replacement ?
Mohamed H on May 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't know since I put mine in a 1995 Suzuki RF600R. I had plenty of room. The only thing that would concern me is if you had enough room behind the bulb in the headlight the fan in the back of the bulb is about two inches.
Is this product CAN bus compatible? Is it a simple plug and play application for a BMW k1300s?

will this work with the Emgo Side mounted cafe headlight for a vulcan 650 S?
A C on Mar 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Dont think those headlights have enough space in the housing to store the big colling fan, plus these LED units only last about a year tops.
Would this work on a 2015 hd street 500?
Jeremy S on Jan 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The H4 bulb should fit a 5 ¾ headlight as I believe the street 500 uses.
What is wattage & lumens, compare to standard H4?
A C on Jan 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't know the numbers, but let me tell you, it is very much brighter. Wattage is lower, 22 watts I believe.
Will this work on my 1977 KZ400/D?

Would this product fit a 2016 Indian Scout 60?
A shopper on Aug 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure, I installed mine into a 2014 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 custom. I'm not familiar with the scout. But if your bulb is a H4 then the bulb will fit but you may need to figure out where to mount the the ballast.
