Real butyl tubes are made from 100 percent butyl polymer, unlike other "butyl" tubes, which are blended with butyl polymer and natural rubber. Real butyl tubes minimize natural air leakage while maintaining air pressure for a longer period of time and are great for shock absorption and are exceptionally resistant to heat, aging, puncture, and weather.
