For some people, it's the best part of motorcycling. For others, they never do it. We're talking about group rides. Done right, they can be great fun and develop a feeling of belonging that's hard to match. Done wrong, they can create hard feelings and even dangerous or disastrous situations.
In this edition of the Highside/Lowside motorcycle podcast, Zack and Spurgeon talk about the pros and cons, the dos and don'ts, of group rides. They address not just the annual holiday toy run or summertime poker run on the road that you might think of, but also off-road group rides, such as what you'll find at Get On! Adventure Fest or other off-road-riding gatherings. If you haven't tried any of these group rides but you've been curious, this episode is great preparation, for both what to expect and what etiquette you should know.
