Kryptonite New York Armored Disc Lock
Does the job!
Lock is very sturdy, and looks like it will do the job. Obviously, with a lock, you never know how well it does it's job until it's tested, but this lock makes me feel confidant.

Well worth the money spent.
There are very few bad things I have to say about this lock. Its got some weight to it despite its appearance , being covered in plastic and all. It feels very heavy duty. Some thing I liked about it; came with three keys, price, and the bright yellow helps it stand out so I feel it would deter potential theft and so forth. Some things that I didn't expect the size, its huge, and the over all feel and look makes it look fairly cheap but the construction is nice and the is quite a bit of weight to it so that helps balance the cheap feeling. I'm glad I bought it and with the placement of it on the front rotor of my zx6r, I have a feeling it'll cause more problems for someone to get it off than what its worth.

It is easy to put on and remove. I feel that it gives me great security with this on my R6!

So far great
I can't attest to it's ability to stop a thief, but my bike is still here, so that's saying something. This is a sturdy lock, and it's quite large, much large than the photo leads it to be. I had no problem getting it through my Suzuki DL650 V-Strom's discs. I feel like this is a hefty deterrent for a thief.

the last bike lock you'll need to buy
the Kryptonite New York armored disc lock works flawlessly. incredibly strong and trustworthy. it's bright yellow, so it's easy to see, so thieves will stay away and you won't forget that the lock is on the bike. another cool thing about the lock, is you can register it online and if someone is able to break the lock (which seems impossible), kryptonite will pay you $1,000 on top of your insurance. so if you're looking for a great lock...this is the one to buy

Heavy duty durable lock
This is a pretty heavy-duty lock... just the weight of it on your bike will make your bike harder to boost. The metal U design (as opposed to the usual brake disk slit on most disk locks) makes it possible to lock it to the rear chain if a disk is not available which is very nice. Only reason I didn't give it 5/5 on "Bang for the Buck" is because it is expensive. However, if you can afford it this will definitely help you sleep easy - short of removing the wheel, this lock is not coming off w/o a key.
