A little piece of mind This lock is very heavy duty. I know it is not a 100% solution but with its design and quality it does let me rest a little easier when I have to leave my baby outside. August 8, 2016
Serious Lock When shopping for a new motorcycle disk lock I wanted a quality lock that would last for years. I looked at the xena lock with the alarm but people expressed frustration that the alarm was too sensitive, and they ended up disabling the alarm and just using it as a standard lock. I looked at the Kryptonite Mini NY U lock, but wasn't confident in the security of the lock, that it could not to be picked. My decision was this Abus Granit 77, it really is a solid chunk of metal, and serious quality. I've worked for a lock company and I will tell you any locksmith will tell you they just aren't pickable. *Make sure to measure your disk, you have exactly 45mm between the edge of the disk and the inside of the pin, it won't fit your disk if you need more room than that. *Not sure why the Revzilla video isn't on the listing July 6, 2016
Just buy it already! You likely spent thousands of dollars on your bike, so let's face it: there's no good excuse not to have a disc lock as a theft deterrent. This lock is simple and hardy, and comes with a 'memory cable' that serves to remind you not to be an idiot and ride off with your disc lock on. Furthermore, it's a neon yellow color, which gets people's attention and indicates you are invested in keeping your ride secure. I've been using mine for about a year now, and I can tell you the peace of mind alone is worth the price. Now the disc lock alone won't keep your bike 100% safe, but if you lock your steering column, cover your bike, and are smart about where you keep it, it'll make it a huge pain in the rear to steal - which, in the end, is about the best you can do. Feel secure This is an awesome lock. Works on the front or rear brake disk. Replaces a much lighter gauge Krypto. The plastic cover is great for adding extra protection to the finish of the bike's paint if you happen to knock it into the tank or fenders. February 16, 2016
Does not fit Triumph Bonneville 2013 Looks like a nice lock (and based on other reviews, it probably is), but did not fit the rear rotor on my 2013 Triumph Bonneville T100, so I had to send it back. January 23, 2016
Great heavyweight disc lock This is a solid disc lock with a study locking mechanism. easy to use key and a secure fit on my bike. You use the key to open and the key to lock it. It has a convenient light on the key to see what you are doing. July 27, 2015
So far it's working This is a heavy duty lock, not easy to put on the disc, especially when it's on my condor, and have to find the right spot. It's going to be even harder for someone other than me to take off, which is the point. Heavy and sturdy, and an interesting design which contributes to making it as secure as possible. I hope I don't have to find out. It's expensive I suppose, but then again so is my ride. July 20, 2015
easy to use This product is very easy to use and I really like the alarm. I live in an area in Maui where motorcycles are stolen often so having this on my bike makes me feel a lot safer. I also use the 1060 chain for added security. June 29, 2015
