Filter is not for use with mid controls.
For 1958-1984 FL swing arm installation. Space the oil filter casting from the black bracket with 5/16" x 5/8" x 1/4" spacers, which will allow the lines to go directly to the oil pump.
For use with over the transmission rear pipe on Panhead or Shovelhead 4 speed models in a swingarm frame.
Replacement filter, use 1984-up EVO style low restriction type.
