Two Brothers M-7 VALE Slip-On Exhaust

Two Brothers Racing has taken their street proven exhaust technology and threw it in the dirt and created the Two Brothers M7 Slip-On Exhaust. With the patented use of magnesium, aluminum, stainless steel and carbon fiber with hours of testing, TBR has created an exhaust that out-performs on all levels. Whether you are trail riding or just having fun in the sand this exhaust delivers with performance gains that you can hear and feel in every part of the power-band.

All Two Brothers M-7 Exhausts feature TBR’s innovative V.A.L.E. system. The V.A.L.E. system is TBR's revolutionary, patented method of attaching the muffler canisters to the mid-pipe without the use of springs or welding. Each muffler is mounted to the bike via a solid aluminum integrated exhaust hanger. All of this combined copes extremely well with the rigors of off-road riding while and reduces the possibility of exhaust failures.

  • Integrated exhaust hanger
  • 304 stainless steel mid-pipes
  • Spiral-wound perforated core
  • Teflon coated magnesium end-cap
  • Optional anodized bolts kits available (sold separately)
  • Includes U.S. Forestry Service approved removable screen type spark arrestor

Carbon Fiber Exhaust Failed on KLR650... Twice.
It sucks to write a bad review, but I feel it’s necessary, given that others have had the same experience that I have. I have a 2013 Kawasaki KLR650 and purchased the Carbon Fiber M7 a few years back. I love the exhaust, love the sound, and prefer Two Brothers exhausts. That being said, it lasted about 6 months and a few days after I had taken a 1,500 mile, 10-hr (each direction) road trip, I noticed that a hole had blown open on the side of the canister under my fairing. I realize that the exhaust was not designed for that and also, I was way past the repack schedule, so, I assumed it happened at some point during the trip. I took the blame and ordered another carbon fiber shell from Two Brothers, with the intent of following the repack schedule. Within 2-3 months, the canister had failed again after some commuting and light casual riding. Again, a hole had blown open on the side of the exhaust in the same manner as before. When I realized a hole had blown open in the canister again, I had had it. I just didn’t ride that motorcycle for a year. For what I paid for the exhaust, the lack of durability is ridiculous. I read somewhere that single cylinder engines are rough on the packing material and I agree because it seems like it just burned right through it. Now, I can’t fault Two Brothers because they specifically state that the exhaust is designed to only be used on a closed track, but I have other exhausts from them that say the same thing and I’ve had zero issues out of. I would like to buy the S1R in hopes that it’ll be more durable but I’m skeptical and might just wind up getting a Leo Vince X3. I honestly don’t want to take the risk on the S1R. I just put the stock exhaust back on.
